This location is close to the law school and gives an opportunity to sit down instead of the food trucks across the street. The food is pretty good and is quick while on lunch break. Lots of students eating here so it can get busy when class lets out. I usually get the gorgonzola melt. The meat is always cooked well and i like the fresh bread. They only have flavored tea usually which is annoying but water is available too. I have never experienced the 10:30 — 11:00 break time but that seems weird. It is chain food with better quality than the Wendy’s down the street.

Once again, not sure why I even bothered to come here. The whole place goes on break from 10:30−11am and they can’t take any orders. The employees are hanging around talking and«shooting the breeze» while all the customers wait in line for 30 minutes, only to have to wait another 30 to get their food. No wonder the kitchen is always backed up.

This location is so shitty. I went to get a margherita pizza at like 10:50 one time and they were like no u gotta wait till 11 for us to be able to process ur lunch order. I was like ok fine ill wait. Then i ordered the pizza and had to wait for 20 mins for it? And the result? OMGHORRIFIC! It was disgusting! The crust was undercooked and there so doughy and it just did not look like the margherita pizza I get at other locations. There was no basil. The sauce tasted very artificial and i had to throw the pizza away! And what the hell is the deal with cosi discontinuing their mango smoothies!!!

Worst service i’ve ever experienced. Rude cashiers who will sit there and chat rather than take your order, 30+ minutes for your order to be ready(and when i asked where it was bc people behind me in line had gotten their orders and gone, i got nothing but rude attitude back… i asked very politely), never get the order right. they don’t understand what customer service means.

I love their salads and bread but their customer service is the worst. I have to wait until the cashier labeled«Wayne’s World» is done with his conversation with another employee to order.

Never been a fan of Cosi. But this location is close by and convenient to go with office colleagues if not in the mood for food truck fare. Good: Location of this Cosi is excellent. Housed right in the heart of Templetown in Philadelphia, within the same building that has Temple University’s fitness center. This place is fairly new and is always crowded. — Good seating space — service was good. Bad: The food. Salads are terrible. The chicken is just downright distasteful and has a white rubbery texture and tastes like thawed frozen chicken. Yuck! — The Tandoori Chicken salad is bleh. The chicken is not curry chicken or has any Indian flavors. It is just coated in red food coloring to give it the appearance of real Tandoori chicken. — Recently I had the Adobo Lime Chicken salad and it was so disappointing. Again the chicken had an awful texture as if barely thawed frozen chicken. The Adobo lime sauce with it was sweet and had lime flavor, but tasted artificial. The lettuce was iceberg, again my least favorite within the lettuce family. The salad dressing was so disappointing that I requested for regular ranch dressing(hoping that it didn’t have MSG in it), which made the salad barely palatable. I have tried Cosi at a few places where I have not had better food options and the bread that is served with soups and salads taste different everywhere. Some places have garlic powder sprinkled on top(I guess while baking) and some places just serve plain bread. This location serves the plain variety which I do not like at all Ugly: Nothing. Will I revisit: Highly unlikely! Given the number of food trucks around Templetown, Qdoba, a new Chipotle(thank God!!), I may try those instead of Cosi.

Yes, I came back as I said I would and my experience this time was a lot better. My suggestion would be to come here between 3 – 4:30, that awkward time when the only people who eat are those who have one lunch/dinner meal a day. This way you won’t have to deal with the long lines. My second suggestion would be to get the salads. I tried the signature salad this afternoon and it was BANGIN! The salad had pear, cranberries, grapes, feta cheese, garbanzo beans, and vinaigrette dressing in it… and it was HUGE! I suppose that the smaller sized flatbreads can be redeemed by the yummy salads. Customer service was also better, which makes me one happier customer.
