Koko Bongo… or «The Bongo» as I refer to it… was underrated.
The Bongo on Wednesday nights had no cover, $ 2 pitchers, FREE PIZZA, and beer pong. I don’t know what else you could ask for out of a college bar.
Oh, I guess not getting shot. But someone was shot there after the college kids stopped going, so it’s their own fault.

In the mood for a tasteless college bar, chock full of dirt-​bags playing beer pong, requesting «Paradise City» and «In Da Club» every five minutes from some DJ with an iPod?
I went here once or twice, when it was known as «Brownies»… but with an ever «sweeter» name, I’m in no hurry to go and drink Bud Lights in this open room with folding chairs, open space, and terrible music.
You’ll either love this place or you’ll hate it. To me, it’s got the same charm as a Buffalo Wild Wings, with bad-​dancing instead of food.
