So I have been here many times, and I have to say, there is one young lady that I have to commend! Her name is Tanya and she works in the bar. She always has a smile on her face and is happy to greet every customer no matter how heck the situation is. Like I said I’ve been here many times, and never have I met such a positive person who is passionate about what she does. Just wanted to give her kudos! Had the snow crab tonight, and most of it was awesome, till the last three pieces… It was mushy, and I’m sure because it was previously frozen. Also had the hot roast beef sandwich to accompany! Should have ordered the crab fries, as they are awesomesauce! Great place to wait for your flight!

Wow. Our waitress’ opening line was«what do you want?» Seriously?! Her name was Etiandra(or something close to that, it was dark as hell in there) and was absolutely the most miserable waitress I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. She threw down a menu, slammed down our drinks, and was generally just rude. When my boyfriend ordered a burger she said«those take 20 minutes. Do you have time?» Bad attitude and NEVER smiled, of course until she brought back the receipt. I think there’s an underlying training issue here, because the gal who brought our food was also rude. The food wasn’t bad — we were in an airport after all — but the waitress sucked all the stars out of this review. I had the turkey wrap, it was decent and the bf’s burger was«okay», but the crabby fries were salty deliciousness! Unless you want to get on your flight pissed off– AVOID this place.

Had an $ 11 cheese steak made by «a real Philadelphian». Mostly bread, with a white cheese. Something I would expect from a fast food joint. Should’ve stopped at the gyro/cheese steak place I passed along the way.

Came here for breakfast before a flight because it was near our gate. Not a fan of the breakfast. I usually love their regular menu but the wrap was eggs and porkroll and I don’t know something was just missing. It made me feel not so good. But customer service was great and the mimosas were huge! Granted, it cost as much as my wrap…

Two stars for the food and one star for prompt and nice service. Much raved about crab fries is not bad, although very salty. It is fries seasoned with old bay and cheese flavor. Their own Victory ale is an easy drinking beer. My roast pork sandwich was on a huge sesame bun. The peppery roast pork is tasty. But the chicken cutlet club sandwich was not good. Chicken dry and not crispy, the whole sandwich was kinda bland and dry. Airport food is usually on the lame side and here it seems like a hit or miss.

So waiting for our connection flight(3 hour layover) and we came across chickie’s & petes. Omg, food was amazing and I wish they had it where I am from. Our waiter, also our bartender was great. He answered our questions and made some delish drinks. He was super fast and attentive. If you go, ask for Ben… he rocks!!! The ONLY reason why I am giving it a 3 and not more, is because these two airport employees came(only knew that cause the bartender asked them if they just got off) and one of them sat their nasty ass shoes on the counter. And had the nerve to ask if that was ok? Bartender(friends) laughed and said no. I was looking to see if she was going to wipe the counter down or something but she did nothing. That was just gross and I hope she was waiting till they left to wipe it down but if not, it’s nasty. If I am ever in Philly again, I will def eat here cause the food itself is a 5 and those crab fries alone were ahhhmaazzing. That little mishap turned me off, Like who does that?!

Service is slow and bartenders are not very attentive when it comes to making sure your order comes out fresh and neglect to tell you that the fries come FIRST then your food. I had the burger(classic). It was ok. If I had to come by here again I would not. The selection of drinks are good… typical airport fare to hold you over till yo get home.

I normally rush by this place running to my gate but I finally got to the airport timely. This place has a great bar and several tvs. Didn’t get to physically eat here, got take out. Wanted a cheesesteak to go for a friend I’m meeting in another city. Bartender suggested I get the«cheesesteak kit». Awesome $ 11 idea! They prepared my CS in separates, no one wants a soggy old CS. They wrapped the bread and separated the meat and the rest of the toppings. Not sure how it will taste later but a great idea for traveling. And great gift for someone who doesn’t really know how a CS is suppose to be haha. Didn’t get the fries but they look and smelled legit like the main restaurants. A+ Customer service

The crab bisque is neither bisque, nor does it have crab in it. Upon closer inspection of the hard-to-read menu, it’s actually a chowder that’s more like a loaded baked potato soup. Still tasty though.

We were waiting for a transit flight to Paris and it was like 4 hours before our plane was to board so we were looking for a place that would provide some R&R before a long trip. We stumbled upon this humble bar looking for some bar food. there was no wait at the time so we went inside. The first thing you’ll notice is that they have a very generous beer list. We were bruised from a previous experience for airport food so we were very hesitant to try something here. But all around us people were ordering food and drinks and really enjoying themselves. We went ahead and ordered the fries since this was what was heavily advertised when you walked in. We ordered the savory and sweet fries combo and went ahead and decided to try the food as well. Philly cheese and chicken parm were what we got and were actually pretty good! Service was superb and the fries turned out to be pretty good too(although I think the sweet fries were MUCH better than the savory… savory was wayyy too salty). All in all actually very good for airport food. After we sat down there was a line out the door down the hallway. If you’re looking for a place to grab a bite or drink this is your place!

Cool spot for a drink or a bite to eat when you’re at the airport. You really get the impression you’re at bar in the middle of the airport — complete with loud music and tv screens blasting sports — definitely a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the airport. This place is small, however, and you can really feel crammed in. Service is rushed and the waitress kind of barked at us. She wasn’t very pleasant. As soon as we were finished, we left ASAP cuz others were waiting for seats. I would come back here however, as it’s a great spot to grab a drink before flying! Just make sure you keep an eye on time!

This places doesn’t do everything great but for an airport they do a lot better than most places here so I’m eating them on that scale. The beer is cold and hey have large drafts of some great local brews. Also make sure to get the crab fries when here, either he regular or the mixed as they never disappoint. I also love the lobster tails! Don’t get the cheesesteak … There are only some authentic cheesesteaks in philly and chickies and Petes is not it. Closest you’ll get in the airport is heading to tony likes in terminal F. Enjoy!

Yes I was one of those irrate customers that was super angry at 6am when I strolled in to get a mimosa before my flight to Cali. I understand it’s probably a state law of some sort. but why not post signs stating you don’t serve alcohol until 7? I seriously wouldn’t have stopped in there had I known that. But instead I felt bad and ordered an expensive and under enthused pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich. And it took too long. There were about four of us in the bar. Most people with just drinks– having cokes. I didn’t even know where the waitress was the first ten minutes I was there. Overall, eh.

I’ve been to a lot of airports and a lot of bars and I’ve been to this particular chickie & Petes a few times and it’s a disaster. The food is good and what you’d expect but the service is awful. Staff seems overpowered constantly by the volume of customers. I’ve been in here for 30 minuses waiting for 1 order of fries and it’s empty in here.

Let’s get one thing straight… YOUAREINANAIRPORT!!! a million pissy people, usually delayed, and just plain miserable. That said: This place was awesome! Better than the fast food places, you can actually sit down and enjoy a few brews before your flight. The young gentleman(adorable as ever) did his best to shuffle around the busy floor to make sure everyone was taken care of. Once I moved to the bar(my flight was delayed 5 hours and leaving at 1am) the bartender was very nice. She was very friendly and chatty. The food was delicious and the beer was cold. What more can you ask for?

Several drinks in and I still didn’t like the food. If that doesn’t tell you how mediocre the food is I don’t know what will. I ordered Pete’s Philly Famous Cheesesteak thinking«oh Philadelphia is known for their cheesesteak and this is famous, how can I go wrong» I understand that like most restaurants they probably just threw in the word«famous» to make it more appealing but WOW the deception! All you can taste was the nacho cheese and it should be called Pete’s Philly Instagram Famous Cheesesteak because everyone knows just because you’re Instagram famous it doesn’t really mean anything. To top it off the service was horrible, our waitress seemed to be overly stressed. It took nearly 10 minutes just for us to get water, ordering took even longer. I will say that she allowed us to trade out one of our dishes for something else at no charge so that was nice. I have no idea why people speak so highly of this place.

Nice bar, outlets under the bar at each bar stool to plug in your phone or any other device. Bartenders are friendly. Tap selection is decent, they have the standards plus a few local craft brews. The prices aren’t unreasonable for the food, for an airport. $ 9.25 for a 22 oz beer is kinda crazy! It can get VERY busy, depending on airport traffic. Always order the crab fries!

Horrible service. My wife’s asked for a cheese omelette, and could find no evidence of any cheese. When she asked the bartender for assistance the bartender scoffed at her request. I know airport restaurants aren’t known for service, but this experience was dismissive — as if we were an inconvenience for ordering food.

The awesome pictures on the wall are NOT what this place is all about. It just can’t be. Famous Philly Cheesesteaks? I think not. A sesame seed hoagie roll? I’ve been eating Philly cheesesteaks since childhood(that’s a long long time) – my mother is from Philly – and I have NEVER had a sesame seed roll. The roasted red peppers are the kind you’d get in a jar, not fresh sliced and sauteed bell peppers(like the waitress promised me). The cherry peppers were fine, but someone in the kitchen thought it would be cute to stick a super spicy(jalapeño?) pepper in the sandwich. Not funny. At all. In fact my mouth is still burning. Pepper seeds all over the place and the steak itself didn’t have much flavor either. What a letdown. And I was super excited to have a layover in PHL! Ignore the hype on the wall. Eat somewhere else.

I don’t think there is one good thing I can say about this establishment, or any Chickie’s and Pete’s for that matter. Processed, deep-fried, low quality, mass-produced, and over-priced food. What is so special about french fries doused in Old Bay seasoning? Why do I have to pick shrimp tails out of my soup? My beer at the airport location was $ 11, and the guy sitting next to me received a really sad looking«Philly cheese steak».

They have lots of TVs so you can see whatever game you are interested in. It is hard to maneuver due to the closeness of the tables and carry on luggage. Beer selection is good. I thought I would have one more cheesesteak before I left Philadelphia and I was disappointed. It wasn’t very cheesy so it was a little dry.

Unfortunately I had a four hour wait until our flight. I can’t tell you a better way to kill four hours. With every NFL game available to choose from, the time just flew. I had several tall beers(Blue Moon on tap — $ 9.25 each) and onion rings($ 9.95) with three different sauces(bbq, ranch & horseradish, the horseradish was my favorite). We got great service(Mercedes) and she wasn’t the only server to ask. We were checked on about every 15 minutes, just about the time I needed another beer. If I’m ever stuck at the Philadelphia airport again, I’ll definitely dine here again.

Since I had a couple of hours to spare before I have to catch my flight, I decided to get a sit down breakfast. My order was the(cheese)steak and eggs wrap with grilled onions and a coffee. Sadly, the coffee was the best/hottest thing in my whole meal. The wrap came with an underwhelming amount of crab fries(basically crinkly fries with seasoned salt). I heard the grill going and it was lukewarm at best. The steak and cheese was ok, and the supposed grilled onions was a poor excuse for grilled onions. I usually don’t send food back, but the fries are completely unacceptable. No fries should be cold first thing in the morning, leading me to think they were leftovers from last night and the kitchen couldn’t even operate the microwave well enough to fool me into thinking they were fresh. The waiter asked the kitchen to make some warm fries. 15 minutes later, after many other people have been served, another small handful of fries showed up, at least these were semi-hot. The waiter was very apologetic and did offer to comp my meal, which is really the only reason I’m giving it 2 stars. Hopefully their lunch/dinner food is better. Thanks for the sub-par first and last impression, I’ll be hitting McD’s(if there’s one) or anything else in Terminal E from now on.

Pretty good for airport food! Ordered a few drinks, mussels in red sauce and the crabbiefries(I think thats what they are called?). The fries are amazing, so amazing I just could not stop eating them– then I looked down and had demolished about 80% of the basket alone. YIKES. The service was slow, but it was because there wasn’t a lot of help, when we did get the waitress she was super kind and treated us great.

Service was great but I was a but deceived. I ordered the crabby fries THINKING it would be like a crab pretzel. Nope, no crab. No crab nuffin. They are fries with Baltimore’s Best Old Bay Seasoning. #whomp. I know folks from and now living in Philly, once they heard where I was, I was told to get up & walkout. I should have taken that advice.

Yum! A chicken cheesesteak and crab fries before my flight, in a quiet atmosphere with plenty of TVs. Service was good, and attentive. Seat yourself, someone brings you a menu, pick your choice, and wait about 15 minutes for your yummy food to come out. Great idea to have one at PHL!

I need a final cheesesteak fix before my flight out of Philly. Couldn’t make it to the Tony Luke’s spot in the airport so I went with Chickie’s and Pete’s. Plus, I my friend ws raving about their signature crab fries. So all in all not a bad experience. Cheesesteak was pretty good and I made sure to ask for extra cheese on mine. I went with American since they didn’t offer Wiz. For someone who usually eats pretty healthy normally I like a nice neon orange fake cheese product for my cheesesteak. None of that provolone crap. I was starved and ate all of it. I felt obligated to try their crab fries(i.e., crinkle fries with old bay seasoning). Not sure this really justifies $ 6 for a side of fries and a cheese dipping sauce but so be it. The fries were crispy and not greasy but there is way too much old bay seasoning on them for my taste. They’d be a million times better if there was say half as much seasoning on them. Didn’t much care for the cheese dipping sauce. Not real taste in my opinion and it set up pretty quickly so I couldn’t really dip my fries in it. I basically had to scoop the sauce out with my fry.

Ambiente: Der Flughafen in Philadelphia bietet in jedem Abflugbereich eine Filiale von Chickies’s and Pete’s. Gestylt ist das ganze wie eien Sportsbar. Sehr nett gemacht. Wenig enge Tische und eine lange Bar(in Terminal C ist die grösste Filiale) Essen: Eher McDonalds Niveau. Recht gute Fritten lecker Philly Cheese Steak — sollte ja was lokales sein ;-).
