Bravo Marble and Granite

The mixed reviews gave me pause, but I decided to move foward with this company… well what a BIG MISTAKE… first, Mike misrepresented many things to us… took a $ 4,000 deposit but didn’t deliver cabinets within the originally agreed timeframe. Fine, delays happen, but then we agree on a layout, which he changes. He says, we will go ahead with install and they can make changes once the crew arrive and get started. So, he sends a «crew» which ends up being Mike’s brother (I’ll call him «Mack») and another young kid; the brother is incredily inept and lazy who does everything possible to get out of doing work (orders kid around, take a gazillion breaks, etc.) Although I had a carpenter remove some of the cabinets, the brother complained about having to demo what was left. «Mack» ends up scratching a cabinet, cracked another one, left half inch gaps between the doors, and hung an entire row lopsided. He blames the lopsided hanging job on the ceilings, saying they weren’t straight. I say, «um, why wouldnt you use a plumb line?» He gave me a blank stare… HAD NO IDEA WHAT A PLUMB LINE IS!!! A million more debacles, and mishaps later and despite arriving at roughly 11am, they don’t leave til amost 8 am with barely any of the job complete. They then inform us that they had no intention on cleaning up/​taking any of the old cabinets or debris with them. I had a 6 foot pile of crap in my driveway and cabinets strewn all over my front lawn. We call Mike, and after heated exchanges back and forth where we remind him of his promise, he instructs the guys to take the debris, although they claim the «contract» doesn’t state takeaway and that was extra” despite Mike’s promise to us when we paid the deposit that the price included demo, clean up, cabinets, countertop, sink and faucet (althougth we declined the «free sink and faucet» because of quality concerns). They say Mike is just a salesperson and he doesn’t know. I say, BS, I know full well MIke is the OWNER of the company. Despite all that, they still end up leaving a giant cabinet in my front yard, claiming the truck was full.
This has been one of the worse experiences I have ever had, and it’s not over: To add insult to injury, the complaints to Mike (who went and cashed our $ 4000 check the very next day) result in his responding that we should «pay my guys in full when the truck pulls up or we won’t proceed with the install or deliver the granite.» So far, we have paid him $ 4000 for a few cabinets, some of which are now damaged by his brother. Bear in mind, I have sent numerous emails, texts, trying to get details in writing, and he responds to none of them or claims his scanner is down.
These are only the highlights… there are even more issues with everything this guy did (i.e. failed to tell us to have a plumber present during the install… gave bad info once plumber got there, resulting in our being charged for two separate service calls, failing to clean up general job site, installed cabinets over dirty floor, etc.) This has been a nightmare all around. Please, please, heed the bad reviews… the positive ones are probably from family members and are fake (i.e. «anonymous user») like those on his Facebook page.
The granite install date is scheduled for Oct 1. I will post a follow up at that time, but wanted to be sure to warn as many people as I can before that DO NOT BE SUCKED IN BY THE PRICE – we would have been better off purchasing cabinets ourselves and hiring a qualified carpenter to install them and then going with a local granite company to install the countertops. If Mike cleans up his act, I will fully disclose the outcome. In the meantime, be warned of the significant work that will be required/​due dilligence need to inspect along each step of install, etc.

) is a scam artist. He canceled 10÷1÷14 date and requested to reschedule to ¹⁰⁄₃. The night before he DEMANDED more money (in cash only… refused to accept a credit card or anything that would create an audit trail) on top of the $ 4K we already paid him, despite the crooked, damaged cabinets and poor workmanship to date or he would not proceed with the install. We were would not pay him anymore until he fixed what was already done, not to mention when we signed up for the project, he stood in our kitchen and PROMISED that would not pay a penny more than the deposit until the job was done and we were satisfied. He proceeded to argue on the phone for almost an hour with us before stating he would call back in the morning. Of course, he acted like nothing happned the next day and asked when we were going to pay him and if we were proceeding with the install (!) We want him to come get his cabinets and refund our money.

Terrible job on my countertop. There’s a hole crumbling in the granite, the handle falls off of the «free» faucet. Had to crazy glue it back on. I called to complain and even went there in person with the broken faucet handle. No call back of course. Shady guys with poor workmanship.

Just letting you know these guys are the epitome of shady! Super smooth talkers who will tell you everything you want to hear and MORE. Work is second/​third rate and honestly all they care about is getting your money and leaving the job. I used them for one job and referred them for a friends job over 5k and once they had their money they would NOT Return my phone calls. Do yourself a favor and use someone else. There are plenty of suppliers under $ 40 sq/​ft these days. Bravo Granite SUCKS!
