This couldn’t be more convenient since it is right in my building. It’s nice to have a legit Bloomie’s outlet so close. Usual outlet caveats apply: it can be hit or miss, sizes and colors vary etc. I can see myself and(many) others stopping in regularly just to see what’s new.

This is a Bloomingdale’s Outlet store, located in the upstairs rotunda of the Shoppes at Liberty Place.(Next to Claire’s & Victoria Secret). Just opened this weekend, I popped in on my lunch break today & it was madness. Decided to come back after work and it was much less crowded but still had a steady stream of customers pouring in. The store itself is small, with the majority of products being women’s clothing. They do have smaller sections for shoes, men’s, kids & accessories. Prices are high, much like regular Bloomingdale’s stores, although they were offering a scratch off coupon upon entering the store giving you between 15% &50% off your purchase. A nice discount which ends after today(11⁄14). The checkout line was long & moving slow, the inventory was definitely picked thru and some areas like accessories were sparse. If you’re a lover of Bloomingdale’s, I’d come back after the newness wears off. Otherwise you’re better off going to Nordstroms Rack across the street, where its bigger & has broader selections.

Located at the top of the escalator on the second floor on the southwest side of the Shops at Liberty Place, Bloomingdales The Outlet Store is a great place to find a bargain or two. It’s a lot like the other outlet stores in town but a bit smaller although they did have a lot of Ugg and Coach boots for women and even a few Michelle watches and a smattering of Polo stuff for men along with some other high end brands. Like in most outlet stores in town it’s hit or miss. But if you do find something the prices are pretty decent and it’s a hundred times easier than venturing out to K of P, especially this time of year.
