I wasted hours of my time arranging to meet Jim for estimates. I even sent him photos he wanted to see related to web info for one of my projects. The first night he was scheduled to come, he e-​mailed me ONE HOUR past the time he was supposed to be there with an excuse. We arranged to meet another time. He came and was very personable, seemed to know how to do the things that had to be done. I stressed that certain problems needed to be fixed immediately. He did not tell me until after being in my house for hours that he was going out of town during holiday weekend but would have his crew members call me and would get an estimate to me within a few days. About a week went by and I heard nothing. When I e-​mailed him, someone else answered his e-​mail and claimed that she knew nothing about my project or me and that he left town without telling her anything. She claimed she had no way to reach him. Then she asked if I wanted to have her come and start all over and show her all my projects for estimates etc. I was very upset. I said that. I then decided to give her a chance but now she said she was not interested in my projects because I had expressed annoyance with the company! They should be called
. Save your time and call a professional company.

Tried calling the company number listed here and on their website at 11 am on a Wednesday morning. Machine that picked up said mailbox is full. Doesn’t sound like a way to run a business.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. Jim was very professional and is a very nice guy. I had them fix a broken joist in my garage. I called on a Tuesday and they got the job done for me on Saturday! They showed up a Little earlier on saturday morning so he could introduce himself to me before I left for work, how awesome is that! If you need anything repaired on your house I definitely recommend Jim and his crew. Thanks again Jim!

Had a couple burst pipes in our basement due to the deep freeze last year. Not only was Jim able to replace the broken sections of pipe, but also he was able to suggest a more permanent solution (this has happened 2 times before) that no one else had suggested. We have used Jim since for some other projects and have been very pleased. Prompt, courteous, clean and reasonable pricing. Definitely will use again!

I needed a lot of repairs and some upgrades done in my Phila. triplex. To complicate matters, I do not live close by and was on a tight time schedule. Bob (foreman) met me on short notice, reviewed in detail all I wanted done and gave a VERY fair price. Workers were efficient, clean, professional but above all did a phenomenonal job. All work was completed in the time frame needed. I now have My handyman company contact I need in Philly… HIGHLY reccomended!!!

I needed some electrical work, and my regular handyman told me that it was a very complicated task, one he couldn’t do. So he suggested Best Handyman Services, and I’m so glad he did. The electrician who came was very professional, and he got right down to work and found the problem very quickly. My regular guy told me to expect a bill of anywhere from $ 1000 – 2000, but this wonderful electrician found the problem and fixed it all for $ 275 – complete – parts and labor, time, etc. That job was a few months ago, and everything is still fine, no problems at all. I am grateful that I found this business, and I have kept the card in case anything else goes wrong (and things always go wrong!). I will not hesitate to call Best Handyman Services again, believe me.
