The ambiance is amazing! The fact that you go in, don’t even usually wait too long and get to sit on a massaging chair and getting said massage while getting a pedicure, is quite amazing to me seeing you don’t even have to pay any exorbitant amount of money for this! I haven’t tried any other of the multiple services they offer, but with the two pedicures i’ve gotten there so far i am very happy. The ladies are also friendly, nice and polite which is important to me and many others.

Great service! I walked in for a gel manicure and pedicure and I am very pleased. Salon is nice and new, manicurist was so friendly. Fyi… If you pay cash they will give you 10% discount.

I want to add to the glowing reviews of B & J nails, which sits next to Connie’s Ric-​Rac in the Italian market. I dropped in yesterday at 10:30am and the place was empty. So while one staff worked on my pedicure the owner prepped each hand. I appreciated the complementary water bottle and I enjoyed watching CNN, which prompted a brief discussion with the two women about gun laws. I agree with another reviewer that the massage part was quick but they always are. The whole process took about an hour.
The bill for a mani-​pedi was $ 35 (weekend price), and I got a $ 5 coupon for my next visit. There is also some kind of incentive for paying cash; they also request tips be in cash, but they allowed me to charge it.
Clean, warm, affordable and close. I think I found my new go-​to nail salon!

Wonderful experience. I went in on a Wednesday afternoon and I was the only one there. I had a wonderful experience. The attention to detail was phenomenal and I am so happy with my manicure and pedicure. It was lovely to have someone to converse with and Fenny was so sweet. I give b&j two thumbs up and recommends it to anyone looking for a clean, professional and atmospheric nail salon.

I’m surprised this place isn’t more busy. I was the only one in there on a Saturday afternoon and it’s really nice.
The place closer to me is terrible, dumpy and always busy. This place is a couple blocks further, really nice, clean, and they do a great job. The massage chairs are great, too. They offer complimentary bottled water and soda. The only nit I can find is that they could spend a little more time on the massage, but I find the massage is too short everywhere.
It’s a more upscale looking nail salon with very affordable prices.

Love this salon! Very modern and always clean. I’ve been here multiple times and they always do a great job. The owner is very friendly and offers you beverages. Highly recommend.

I went here last week with my mom for a lady-​nail-​date. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and extremely pleased with my experience! It was a Thursday Friday afternoon around 4:30 with no wait time. They actually called in an employee so that we could both have our manis done at the same time. Great color selection (tons of gel options), cheap, and SO CLEAN. Seriously it was such a relief to walk in to that space. The owner and all her employees were sweet as pie, and our manicures have lasted over a week with no signs of chipping. It’s a little further than my normal nail place, but worth the trip. Haven’t tried their waxing services; that’ll be the next visit.

It seems that each thing I liked about this place had a negative that balanced it. My manicure has lasted at least 4 days longer than usual, but the polish was all over my cuticles, and the clear base was drying and flaking off from the tips of my nails. My pedicure polish is sloppier with polish on the cuticles and sides. During my pedicure there was a lot of looking at me while wincing and asking if it hurt. It felt a little sore, but no blood or significant pain. The space was clean and attractive, but there was a hole smashed in the storefront that made me second guess my visit. I might return for another manicure if I’m in a pinch, and the glass is fixed, but only because it’s conveniently located and there wasn’t a line.

This nail salon is a hidden gem in Italian Market. I always liked there sister salon Queen Nails and decided to try here since it’s closer to home.
When I arrived Frenny offered me a glass of champagne and couldn’t have been any nicer. The salon is new and clean. I usually get a gel manicure or gel polish change. Prices are very reasonable and the service is wonderful.
Definitely come by for nails services here!

Been looking for a good nail salon in this neighborhood for a while and now I can say the hunt is over! B&J Nail Spa is awesome! Nice staff, beautiful results, and free refreshments. Right now there is a special on weekdays for a $ 30 mani and pedi (it’s $ 35 otherwise).

i just went in for a pedicure and had a great experience. the main reason i get a pedicure is to scour off the dry skin on my feet and for a thorough de-​gunking of my toe nails (gross, sorry). after schlepping around all summer in sandals, my feet have seen better days. the lady was VERY meticulous about cleaning up my nails and pumicing away the dry skin on my feet. and they look great! soft and fresh and clean! the facility is clean and spacious. super friendly service. complimentary champagne. i will definitely be back.

This place is such a gem in the rough that I don’t want it to leave. No wait, they give perfect service. From the sweet attentive owner (her name is Fenny) to the champagne you get while you wait.
The prices are great, you won’t spend over $ 30 for a mani/​pedi. And I got a gel manicure too!
My first time here I got my eyebrows done and they did them perfect. This time going for a gel mani/​pedi I was even more satisfied.

The spot is beautiful and located in the heart of the Italian market. Brand new, clean and hospitable. I plan on making this nail salon my new spot! They really took their time and made this a great experience. As soon as I sat down I was offered champagne :) I will most certainly be back next week.

B & J salon is truly a gem. They are a new establishment right in the Italian market! Because they are fairly new, chances are you won’t have to wait but I hope this changes soon because they really need to be seen and heard. The ladies here are so friendly! They offer you a complimentary beverage which is a nice touch. The pedicure chair gives the bestest massage!!! The place itself is so huge, clean and super modern. They offer all your typical nail salon services at an extremely reasonable price! I’m so happy I don’t have to walk all the way to south street anymore as this spot is only around the corner from me! Please check them out! You won’t be disappointed!

My girlfriends and I love B and J Nail and Spa! They recently took me here on a random weekday night and I had a great experience. This place is brand new! They have only been open a couple months. B and J is very clean inside, everything is brand new, furniture, equipment etc. The tools are clean. Everything is very well put together. The ladies who work there are extremely friendly and accommodating. The night I first went there we had originally told them there was only going to be two of us, and when it ended up being three, the worker called in another worker to help with our pedis/​manis. They are very patient and understanding in what you want done. I also had an eyebrows waxed yesterday and she did them just the way I wanted. I also picked out several different nail polish colors because I couldn’t decide, and the woman really helped me pick out exactly what i was looking for. They are personable and make you feel appreciated. There are complementary sodas, and I even saw champagne as well, not sure if they are also complementary or not. They are moderately priced. Gel Manicure is 25. A pedicure and gel manicure came to $ 45.00. Even when I am the last person in the nail spa, they never make me feel rushed or unwanted. We will continue to go back to B and J Nail and Spa! I highly recommend it if you live near Passyunk Square! They also just started a rewards program which is great!
