Apple Blossom Learning Tree Day School

We moved to the area from the West Coast when our son was just a year old, and we were of course anxious about sending him to day care in a new and unfamiliar environment. Our child has clearly thrived at Apple Blossom, and we are so impressed with the incredible strides he’s made in his early development in less than a year. His language skills are really blooming, he’s counting up to 10 in English and Spanish, he says «please» and «thank you»… and he’s become very adept at navigating interactions with kids of all ages. I can only credit the patient teaching and thoughtfully supervised socialization opportunities that he’s had at this facility. And we are of course deeply indebted and grateful to his wonderful teachers. Now, we are moving yet again, and I just don’t know how we’re ever going to be able to replace the wonderful, caring staff and environment that Apple Blossom has provided for our son, now almost 2, in the last year!

I moved from the suburbs and was looking for a learning center to send our twin boys, who were 1 ½. It was a difficult decision for us because our boys had separation anxiety. (We Thought). The last center the boys went to they cried everyday for six months. I made and appointment and visited Apple Blossom and met with Ms. Joanne, the owner, she was so sweet she guaranteed that my boys will not cry after a week. I was very happy with my visit I loved the diversity with the students and staff, so I gave it a chance. The best decision ever! Wow! Ms. Joanne was right they stopped crying after 4 days and love love love the center. They are so happy when I drop them off until I pick them up. All the teachers are wonderful, caring, competent, they really give individual attention to each child. The boys have been going to Apple Blossom for 6 months now, they have learned so much, they are talking, saying their A, B, C’s, counting to 10, using manners, and using a fork with proper table manners. I am so happy with Apple Blossom and the staff. I would highly recommend Apple Blossom to a friend based on person experience.

It’s been a while since my kids have attended, but this was the very first daycare that cared for my children when I reluctantly had to return to work from maternity leave. It was such a hard thing to do, but knowing that I was leaving my kids in the care of owners, Tina and Joanne, and their hand-​picked staff, made my return to work that much easier. Apple Blossom is a warm, friendly, nurturing and clean environment. And, the teachers are energetic and trustworthy. What I loved most about a small private daycare is that I found the director was extremely open and immediately responsive to any concerns that I may have had. I didn’t feel lost in a corporate shuffle. Fabulous! Also, they are a Keystone Stars member!

My daughter has attended Apple Blossom since she was 7 months old and we have been very happy with our decision over the past 4 months. Every morning when I drop her off, she gets the biggest smile on her face as we enter the door. It is clear how much the teachers and other staff care for her and how much she enjoys them. The center is privately owned, clean, and the teachers are able to provide a lot of attention to each child. The infant and toddler class gets to participate in many activities, including art projects and holiday feasts, just like the older kids at the center. I have also been able to send my daughter to day care with expressed milk and the teachers are knowledgeable in how to correctly handle and store frozen milk, which has been a relief for me. I would definitely recommend Apple Blossom to my friends and family.

I have sent my daughter there nice she was 4 months old. I trust the teachers completely and do not regret my decision in choosing this day care. It is a small private place, nicely kept. They wear shoe covers in the infant room and wear gloves hen changing each baby’s diaper. They have taken her out to the park when the weather is right and given her lots of love and attention. Highly recommended. Only wish they would be open a little earlier hehe.
