Ariel W.

Business Owner

Ariel Weiss has maintained a private practice teaching Alexander Technique in Philadelphia since certifying to teach at The Alexander Foundation in 1988. She is a teaching member of Alexander Technique International and studied extensively with Master Teacher Marjorie Barstow in addition to her training with the Fertmans, Conables, Thommy Thompson, Meade Andrews, Glenna Batson and more.

Ariel coaches singers and instrumentalists at the Curtis Institute of Music. She is also guest faculty for for the Well Balanced Pianist and for teacher training programs at the Philadelphia School for the Alexander Technique and Bill Harvey’s Biodynamic Structural Integration Training. She also trained with the Upledger Institute in CranioSacral Therapy.

Active as a dancer and choreographer for most of her life, Ariel brings over 40 years of movement training to her practice with a Master’s degree from Wesleyan Univ
