A & B Appliance

I had A&B appliance fix my Sub-​Zero a while ago. They did an excellent job and had it working before they left. One of the workers had to go quite a way to get the parts needed but they stayed on site. They gave me a three year guarantee. I would have them fix my appliances any time.

The story is the same, he took $ 495.00 and did not fix my refrigerator. I’ve been compiling a list of this scam artists victims. Please help, I don’t want this to happen to another person.

0 stars. We too were ripped off by A & B Appliance. They came to look at our Marvel wine refrigerator (5 years old), and said it needed two parts, and they took a $ 250 deposit. That was a month ago. They keep checking on «the part», and can’t seem to get it in. They say they will call me right back, after checking on whatever the day’s excuse is, and they never do. I’ve called twice a week for 4 weeks.
Waited today for 4 hours, called to complain, they said they’d check on the repairman, and never called back. When I call them back, I get the answering machine, as per usual. My last message was «return my $ 250 deposit immediately or I will be taking legal action». Marvel says they are not listed as one of their authorized repair companies — and they don’t see any parts on order. So word to the wise — check with the brand’s website first!

This company is the absolute worst. Cheats and liars. We contacted them in the beginning of May for repairs to our Dacor oven and Bosch dishwasher that both started acting up in the same week. I’ll keep this short and simple. The stove has never worked correctly since they were here and the motor they replaced in the Bosch BURNT out less than 8 weeks later. We were stood up multiple times (with every excuse in the book — truck broke down etc) for them to come back after they cashed our deposit check. I complained and they offered us $ 250 back. That has been the joke of my life. I call several times a week literally months later and the check has been lost in the mail several times, they’ve offered to send it Western Union and last minute say they’ll drop it by as they’ll be in my neighborhood etc. Today they offered to stop by with cash! Never happened! When I ask if they’ll really show I am always told I am rude for asking! Always Ed or Bob (I believe this is the same person) they claim they own the company and there is nobody else to speak with. I’ve left messages — sent emails and nothing is ever returned. Believe it or not — they never showed. Find a reputable repair company and don’t make the mistake we did.
