We tried this place for the dinner and a movie combo. The food was pretty awful actually. The idea is great, $ 25 gets you dinner and a movie ticket, but unfortunately the dinner leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not giving it one star on the chance it was an off night, or maybe we just ordered the wrong thing.

NOOOOOOOUNDERNEWMANAGEMENTWHEREISMYCOLDBEERHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP. Seriously the bar is closed for the time being so if you want some really gross looking bacon cheese fries with nothing to wash it down with but cranberry juice this is your go to place.

Happy Hour here is pretty good but the crowd is surprisingly sparse. If I were in the area, I’d probably go here pretty often. I mean, how could I argue with $ 2 pints of Victory Prima Pils and Stoudt’s American Pale Ale? Its kind of a bummer that the Golden Monkey stays at $ 6(the only beer excluded from the special) but I’m willing to overlook that. I think either Kimberly is inaccurate, they changed the special or the bartender lied to me about the appetizer specials for Happy Hour. I was told $ 5 for chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks or artichoke dip, not a full half off on everything. I tried the artichoke dip and it tasted like a package of frozen T.G.I.Friday’s brand & is served with tortilla chips out of the bag. Oh well. Kind of a cool lounge area and plenty of flatscreens makes this a pretty decent place to hang out while you’re waiting for your movie to start.

This place used to be much better when they had karaōke on Wednesdays. However they do have an amazing happy hour. Decent drinks including Golden Monkey, Labatt Blue, Bud, Yuengling, Heineken, Stoudts American Pale Ale, Fosters, & Magic Hat 9 that I can think of off the top of my head. I used to go there every week at least once a week during college. They never carded me ever, I’ve been going since I was 19 and they saw me so often that nobody ever got around to it. It is connected to a movie theater(the bridge), but if you want good beer I’d recommend Marathon Grill connected to the same building. Also Rob is my boy so tip him well, he’s a funny guy too. Also a DJ on Friday nights. Also this bar has computers at the bar, it doesn’t look cheesy either, a spot worth checking out in the 40th street area.

This bar is located in the back of the Bridge movie theater. I love the dcor and the drink specials as well. If you go on the weekends, they even have a live DJ although there is no room to dance . Happy hour also is a great time to go, with half off appetizers and many drink specials. The crowd is evenly split between pre-/post– movie goers and locals. If you happen to see a movie at the Bridge, definitely stop by for a drink or two!
