Admitting, I’m the biggest baby I know when it comes to going to the dentist, but these guys were/​are incredible. Their patience and catering to nervousness will keep me coming back. I didn’t think that I could be more impressed, but then a few days after my visit I got a call from Dr. Mun to follow up. Not from an office admin, or a hygienist, but the actual doctor called me to follow up. They have a great thing going on here.

Just DONT! i would never recommend this place. Terrible Terrible place, went in for regular cleaning. I needed a new dentist since moving to Austin so I tried this place out. I went for a basic cleaning and as soon as I walked in the door I felt like I had walked into a bad sorority party. There was no warmth or friendliness from the girls at the front desk. Felt uncomfortable the moment I sat in the chair. Took my Xrays… multiple because they were always blurry «for some reason.» I blame user error… then they proceeded to tell me about how I have periodontal disease and like 5 cavities and gave me thise huge estimate of $ 1500 for all the work that needed to be done.
This place will try to get every dollar out of you while making you feel incompetent and shame you about your oral health. I will DEFINITELY be getting another opinion from a smaller (and nicer) less corporate dental office.

I am consistently impressed by Pflugerville Family Dentistry. I have seen them for a number of procedures including regular cleanings, cavity fillings, and implant work. Every single time, they are excellent; always pleasant, kind, and concerned about my comfort. I don’t know how they always maintain this level of customer care. 5 stars every time. They even offered me a payment plan for a procedure that I wanted that my dental insurance didn’t cover.

Friendly staff (Stephanie is awesome), excellent cleaning, great experience for someone who hates going to the dentist!

The staff here is always so friendly! They have some TV monitors in the back that you can watch movies while they are working on your teeth. I would recommend this place!

After my recent move to Pflugerville I found Dr. Mun and his staff on Unilocal and I’m ecstatic that I did! They are all very friendly and efficient and we’ll organized. Everything, each service, was smooth and pleasant. I recommend this practice.

This place has the friendliest staff! All the ladies that work in the front have a smile on their face and are more than helpful with any question you might have.
My hygienist was very friendly and gave me lots of helpful tips to keep my back teeth more clean. I also needed to schedule a crown to be replaced and wow! Again so helpful. Stephanie had lots of information to show me and already had multiple payment options ready to roll.

I highly recommend this dentist office. I was afraid to go to the dentist since it had been over 7 years since I’d visited one. The reviews on Unilocal made me choose this one and I’m very glad I did. Everyone on staff is so friendly and nice, they make me feel welcome and ease my nerves each time I’ve been. Both dentist Chris Mun and Neomi Turcios-​Mun have helped me on different occasions and have been so nice and gentle. I had to get several things fixed since it had been quite awhile and they didn’t make me feel bad about it at all. So if you get nervous or worried about visiting the dentist like I do, I’d really recommend going here. They are great and everyone there will be friendly and helpful. Bonus you can either listen to music or watch something on Netflix while you get your teeth worked on.

Ever since I had my very first consultation the staff and doctors have been very professional, polite and most of all informative. I suffer from stress and anxiety due to past dental experiences and they were very supportive flexible with my options. They do a great job and making me feel calm and not embarrassed for having anxiety.

I came back for my follow up. I was a bit nervous I must say. They found five cavaties on me during my check up. What can I say I slacked on check ups for quite a while. Lazy I call it and now let’s just say I learned a valuable lesson.
Today it took about two hours to get my cavaties taken care of and I was well taken care of by Dr. Mum and all his staff. It was a 21^st century experience. One they use the prescription numbing gel to numb your gums prior to numbing your mouth with a needle. Then a few minutes of waiting he used the needle. The technician and Dr. Mun explained every step of the way prior and during each process.
Dr. Mun was very gentle with the shots. I didn’t feel anything to be quite honest. Then they gave me options to watch Netflix, listen to music, with or without headphones for the first two options or to just cancel the drilling noise out.
I chose neither because I wanted to go old school! I couldn’t get my mind off the fact I had cavaties at this age. Either way it was nice to have those options. I don’t ever remember going to a dentist in the last 10 years and being able to watch Netflix from the chair.
They even have the best suction tube that prevents you from swallowing the nasty stuff.
My technician was awesome, her and I held a great conversation during the wait times and we carried a great conversation on with Dr. Mun. She was very professional and kept pace and on track with Dr. Mun They both would check to make sure I was in no pain every step of the way.
Dr. Mum is very great at what he does! He is honestly the most gentle dentist I ever met to work on my teeth. I am amazed at how fast they get me in and out this place so fast while taken care of like VIP. Keep up the great work you all!

I moved here a few months ago and dreaded finding a new dentist. Pflugerville Family Dentistry was the first office I went to and will be the only one I go back to! The crew at their new office was amazing! Everyone was super nice, the office was beautiful and clean! I completely recommended making an appt, you won’t be disappointed!

This business sends emailed solicitations for Unilocal reviews. Pay attention to how many reviews are from users with only one review. I picked this place partially because of the reviews here and was disappointed.
Do what I foolishly didn’t do and always look up a dentist’s license before seeing them so you can see how experienced – or inexperienced – they are.
Upsides:
Office is very new, clean, with modern equipment, though I personally don’t like the semi-​open layout because I don’t dig randos seeing me get my teeth done. Love the suction/​tongue guard device. Office manager is very nice and explains charges to you in detail before you pay. Hygienists are very nice and gentle during cleanings. Can listen to Pandora or watch Netflix during appointments. Dark glasses provided to shield your eyes from the exam lights. Cold water in a mini fridge in the waiting area must be refreshing in the summer.
Downsides:
Jasmine at the front desk is nice enough but is not suited to be a receptionist – took well over a week to respond to emails if she responded at all, had an abrupt phone demeanor, mumbled, did not know how to transfer dental records, quoted me a different price than what I ultimately paid and could not explain the difference. I was attracted by the website’s email functions and ability to fill out new patient paperwork online but these features were actually not very convenient due to lack of followup. I also wanted to take advantage of the Saturday appointments the website advertises but Jasmine was unwilling to give me one for some unexplained reason. Their phone system had some sort of crossed line so I could faintly hear another employee talking to a patient when I called in, which did not boost my confidence in my privacy as a patient.
I finally got a new patient appointment, and the dentist told me I had an ungodly amount of cavities. I came back to fill some of them and the anesthesia didn’t take full effect so I felt some of the drilling, which was unpleasant. I had to get extra shots of anesthesia – normally I don’t have any anesthesia because I super duper hate needles and tend to have very small and surface-​level cavities, but the dentist assured me that these cavities were deep and must be filled.
Afterward my teeth felt sharp around the edges and very concave and I was concerned about the quality of the work. I went back to have some misplaced composite removed (all over adjacent teeth, very rough and uncomfortable) and when I said the fillings seemed more deep and aggressive than I was comfortable with, the dentist acted a bit offended. I expressed in my intake paperwork and my new patient appointment that I’m a nervous dental patient, and that I prefer to be conservative with fillings, and I didn’t feel that my preferences and concerns were listened to. I might have surprised him by being concerned but if your practice purports to be sensitive to dental anxiety, you ought to expect that some patients may want extra reassurance and information.
I did not return for the other fillings I supposedly need. At this point I’m not sure I needed them in the first place. It’s a bummer to pay for dental work and then feel like you’d have been better off just doing nothing.
When I asked for my records to be transferred the receptionist point blank asked me why (awkward). Well, here’s their answer. I do not intend to return.
EDIT: After visiting another dentist, I was told that the «concave» feeling of the teeth with fillings is due to this dentist not shaping the fillings with realistic anatomy. It’s very annoying and not fixable without more expense. I’d rather not pay for something that’s not drastically urgent so now I have teeth that feel like someone scooped out the top with an ice cream scoop. My other dentist also said that I did not NEED additional fillings (I had pits in my teeth but not problematic cavities) and that this dentist’s treatment approach is very radical and aggressive. I prefer the conservative approach (which I did express) so this dentist is just not a good fit for me.

I am not of fan of going to the dentist, but I needed to go and wanted to find a good one. Pflugerville Family Dentistry was recommended to me by a family member of mine with kids. She said they were so great with her kids she was going to go for an apt herself. Immediately I looked them up on Unilocal and was happy to find a lot of good reviews. The reviews didn’t lie! This place is best! Everyone is always super friendly, they always have water and coffee in the waiting room, the wait time is never long, I feel like they are honest with me, and I dont feel overcharged. They have a modern facility that helps make going to the dentist more tolerable. I definitely recommend going here!

So I have been going to this dentist for 6 months now and they are still just as wonderful as the 1^st day! I highly recommend this place! Great dentist and staff!

If you are looking for a dentist that can treat you the same day and on top of that they will work a payment plan and the staff were very nice to my mom and dad I want to thank Alice for understanding and for being so patient. Thank you

I found Pflugerville Family Dentistry through a friend. I was very happy with the entire experience! Everyone from the person who help me with all the insurance and scheduling to Dr. Mun himself was friendly and helpful. The office was very clean and fresh.
I am a strong believer in the need for dentists to have up to date advanced technology, and Pflugerville Family Dentistry certainly does. The x ray machines, TVs, lights, etc. were all part of a great experience!
Upon my visit, I also had many questions as I had not been to the dentist in some time. Dr. Mun was extremely patient and friendly in answering every one of my questions.
VERY HAPPY WITH THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE, and even look forward to my next visit!

No one LIKES going to the dentist, but if you must to go, you should definitely come here! Brand new, modern facility and all the newest high-​tech gadgets I’ve never seen at my old dentist’s archaic 1990s-​era office.
The staff is really friendly. The hygienist did a very thorough job and explained everything along the way. I got an ultrasonic cleaning, floss, fluoride. the whole nine. She let me pick a Pandora station and all I had to do was sit back, relax, and listen to my music.
Dr. Mun was great and was able to show me my problem areas via a screen that he pulled down right in front of me. It was nice to visually see exactly what needed to be worked on; he explained everything that would need to be done in the future.

I have terrible teeth, I try to take the best care possible but I still have cavities, crowns, etc. I’ve had horrible HORRIBLE experiences with hygienists, dentists (I’ll spare you my tales of woe) so at some point I just said, «Screw it!» and actively avoided all of them.
Years later, mysteriously, I grew up a bit, realized that dentures at my age are uncool, and *again* sought out a new dentist. I spent 3 hours online and the unicorns must’ve smiled on me because I stumbled onto this guy. Dr Mun and his team are very polite, super friendly, he treats his staff professionally (I don’t give my business to people who talk down to underlings), and all of them go out of their way to make me comfortable. I have my netflix, a blanket, they have pre-​shot numbing gel which is excellent, they chat with me about our lives outside of work, and slowly but surely we are getting my teeth under control. Water, coffee, and toys in the waiting room. Already have recommended them to 3 of my friends who are unhappy with their dental care.

Love it best dentist ever had ! Everything brand new super friendly staff. I glad I pick right place… Very cozy and comfortable like second home to me…
