I took my car in for an oil change and mentioned to the technicians that my brakes were bad and asked for a price quote to fix them (for the past 8 months the other lube shops I had gone to were hounding me about how bad my brakes were). The lead technician came into the waiting room after inspecting my car and basically told me that those other places were full of it and my brakes had at least another 10,000 miles of life until they needed to be replaced.
That was a real «moment of truth» moment because they easily could have taken advantage of the fact that I already thought I needed my brakes replaced but they had the integrity to be honest and looked out for their customer.
Thank you Pecan Lube Center for being an authentic example of customer service!!! :)

Good honest people working here. As a mechanic myself, they offer what they see on your vehicle, but don’t force or push you to do it, in fact, they will tell you to purchase the items from the near by Oriellys to save a few dollars. I have brought many vehicles here from regular oil changes to special services, one of the few places left around here that run a great, honest business.

I bring my fleet here from work and my personal vehicles. Great honest people. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I went in for a state inspection. Tim was quick, personable and explained the new inspection/​registration rules to me clearly. I was in and out in less than a half hour! Clean waiting room with lots of magazines and warm coffee on a rainy Saturday morning. I will definitely be going back and recommend my family go there as well.

Took my car in for an oil change (very much needed) on a Saturday around 3pm, I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I also got a free car wash, and a free burger from Mighty Fine :)

I stopped here a couple weeks ago after a previous not so great experience at another Pfville oil change station that shall remain nameless. I read the Unilocal reviews for both spots beforehand and decided that I’d try my luck again. Not gonna lie — I hate having to take my car in for any kind of service. Yes, even routine oil change and tire rotations. I generally feel like the guys at the shop are trying to get over on me and I’d likely never know the difference. Mike was super informative and let me know the cost of the oil change would be higher than anticipated due to what my vehicle called for etc. I protested a bit feeling like I may be getting hoodwinked — mostly due to my previous oil change experiences. He understood my concern and asked about the last oil change — I told him I paid less and he asked what oil they used… of course I had no clue. He assured me that if they had used the same brand or another equally rated oil it would have been a comparable price. I told him to go ahead and do it since I really needed it done and he started on it promptly. While I was waiting I called the last place I went to and asked them to look up my invoice from the visit. Sure enough I paid slightly less BUT the oil that was used was no brand I ever heard of and the tech on the phone advised that it was a special lube center oil. That could be true but none of them knew the manufacturer and they debated a while before settling on it having been made by a Mobil subsidiary. While I don’t know much about cars and vehicle maintenance I do know that generally — you get what you pay for. In this case I paid slightly more for a higher grade & reputable motor oil AND had a great interaction with the staff. That last place actually tried to convince me that the oil my manual recommended is really not what they should put in my vehicle. I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else for an oil change because I really appreciated the transparency, great customer service and speedy service. Don’t let me forget to mention that all oil changes come with a FREE burger from Mighty Fine and carwash! Can’t beat those unexpected bonuses. Go here, you’ll be glad you did.

My husband took our car here for a brake replacement (2007 Honda Civic). Well, our brakes were to a point where, shamefully, we’d let them get right down to the metal (we didn’t realize, but _that’s_ what the grinding sound was ;P). PLC was SO great. They told us the car was unsafe to drive, gave us an estimate for replacement, and then gave us a new customer discount (for 10%).
The estimate looked so good to my husband (and our car was to the point where it needed an 80k review), he asked them to look the rest of the car over to see if it needed anything else. The team gave it a so-​many-​point-​inspection (I believe it was 20 or 24, I wasn’t with him, unfortunately), and proceeded to have them do all of the work.
For $ 378, the team at PLC gave us a full oil change (using Castrol Edge Synth 5/​20, that including oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, and a $ 30 oil system cleaner), auto transmission flush, and a 2-​part power steering flush. This also included all parts/​labor.
The bill had actually noted «AF5653 Air Filter for $ 17.99» twice in the description. I was going to call about it, but my husband said not to worry about it, so we let it go. About two weeks later, we received a copy of the bill in the mail with a handwritten note at the bottom that said, «Apology, Jeremy, for double charging on air filter. Please accept our refund. Wayne Moore, Owner.» The air filter was circled in the description on the bill! It’s a serious sign of quality, to me, when the owner is actually going back through their invoices (by hand??) to check for inconsistencies! Then, to have them send you a refund… just out of the blue… without prompting! That says a whole lot more!
The service we received was fast, and it all happened while I was out of town with my car, so my husband was rendered car-​less. PLC made sure my husband had a ride to and from their establishment each time– once to get back from their place while the service was being done, and once to pick the car up. All for no extra charge!
I was really impressed with Pecan Lube Center, and I would absolutely recommend them to EVERYONE– family, friend, neighbor, stranger on the street. ;) If you need work done at a place that seems to make NOT screwing you a serious effort (HA!), this is the place. Plus, the service is excellent, and they take customer care to the next level.

Amazing service. Awesome staff. I highly recommend everybody to get their oil change here. They were quick and took care of all my car needs. I got a free Burger and Carwash. That’s incredible. :)

Fast and clean. Guys did a great job. Had to drop a star only because they started draining the oil before we had made the decision on the type of oil to use – a little premature, IMO.

We have 4 cars in my family and we all take them to Pecan Lube. Wayne really takes care of us. Him and his staff are very friendly and never try to sell you on something you don’t need. They tell you what they recommend and let you know if problems can wait. I really trust them so when they tell me something should probably get done immediately, I know they are telling me the truth. They are very quick as well. I am usually in and out within 20 or 30 minutes.

This shop feels like the family run, community business that it is. I was made to feel like a part of the family when I took my new to me, but very old vehicle to them. The owner chatted with me and made me feel right at home. The technicians were wonderful too. Everybody was out to have me taken care of. I believe that they have my best interest in mind with every suggestion. Thank you!

I like this place because its still a family owned shop. Sometimes the owner greets you himself sometimes its his staff either way customer service is still the first priority. A coupon for a free car wash and a burger is just a cherry on top. Thanks guys for always taking care of both my vehicles. Comforting to know that I can send my wife somewhere and not worry about the shop trying to sell her BLINKER FLUID!

I’ve done minor work on cars and have done my own oil changes in the past, so I’ve got strong and informed opinions on businesses who work on my vehicles.
The only thing that could possibly make this place better is a lower-​cost oil change — but the places that will do it for less are either junky chain lube shops where they use crap oil and try to sell you on stuff you don’t want or don’t need, or full-​service shops where you’re waiting 45 minutes to an hour even with an appointment.
They’re locally owned and I’m okay with an extra $ 10 of my money going to someone who actually lives here, rather than all profits to some corporate office somewhere. They use Castrol, which I consider a quality oil. The techs know what they’re doing and one of them was happy to use my phone to take a picture of a fluid leak at my request.
Assuming nothing changes, I trust these people to let me know about current or potential problems with my car that would be noticed in the course of an ordinary oil change.

Friendly staffs provide detail services on automobiles here. I just had my Camry oil change here. Due to many cars were here for services, Mike, the manager, valued my longer wait time gave me $ 7 discount.
I always have good experiences here. The owner Wayne is a devoted community supporter and love to keep his customers happy with great services provided here. I would highly recommend Pecan Lube Center for your car services!
