The folks at Longhorn Mac Repair do a fine job at a very affordable price. I have taken two Macbook Pro laptops to them for various problems and been completely satisfied both times. They are sometimes hard to contact; be sure to leave a message if they don’t answer your call.

I love this place. I had my Iphone fixed a few weeks back, and today my Early 2014 Mac Book Air and they did an excellent Job on both occasions. I am more then happy with the level of service they provide and the kind manner in which they give it. The couple who own it ROCK!!! There warranty is the best I have found and their workmanship second to none.

Great job on replacing & cleaning keyboard on my Macbook Air. after a spill. Several keys were not working, one fan had stopped & there was sticky residue inside. I have had the laptop home for 2 days and it is working perfectly. The price was very fair compared to other estimates I had received & especially compared to the Apple Store! Turn around on the repair was also fast & efficient. I could not be more pleased & would highly recommend them.

I took my macbook to get it cleaned and they did an amazing job, I also replaced my keyboard and they did that quickly
the next day it didn’t work the way it used to so I took it back and they fixed it free of charge, and then it stopped working again later due to a cord in my laptop, and they fixed it again free of charge. Patrick accidentally cracked my screen during the process and replaced it quickly and free of charge as well, it took about twenty minutes.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND you consider this company for Mac computer repairs or upgrades. I am a trainer and recently had a problem with one of my Macbooks. I am nearly 80 years old and not very computer savvy. I took the computer in for an evaluation and made the decision to upgrade to a ssd hard drive and load OS EL Capitan. I ended up having two mac laptops up graded and am exceptionally satisfied with their customer service and what I consider to be a fair price for the work done. I will have them upgrade a third laptop, which I use for backup, to ssd in between trainings.

I am happy to report I am retracting the bad review entirely.
Patrick contacted me within a few hours of my review and addressed my grievances quickly without drama or defensiveness. He got my mac back in the shop (no additional charge of course) and went through the system thoroughly to find the issue. It turns out that my main problem was not, in fact, the SSD drive they installed, but the lousy speed of my AT&T internet.
There were a few peripheral issues from my original negative review, but I now consider those resolved, based on the excellent and attentive customer service from Patrick at Longhorn Mac Repair. He was eager to win me back as a customer, and he certainly did that with his professional attitude.

This place did an absolutely wonderful job on repairing my daughter’s broken/​cracked screen on her iPad2. I was able to drop it off and pick it up the very next day. (I could have picked it up that same afternoon if I needed to, but I live in Cedar Park and this place is closer to my work, so I opted for a drop off and next day pick up.)

I strongly recommend Longhorn Mac Repair. My laptop died and I took her into the computer emergency room as frantic as I’m sure you all would be in the same situation.
These guys worked quickly — I had my mac back at home in working order within 48 hours of my emergency.
They are also great communicators. Original diagnosis was the keyboard, but turned out I needed a new logic board. I appreciate that I received prompt updates on what was going on, and I was asked if I wanted to go ahead with this more expensive operation before it was done. I was also guaranteed that I would not have to pay for the repairs if they did not solve the problem.

I brought my 2011 iMac 27″ in with a bad logic board only affecting the video. The rest of the system worked fine. I could connect an external monitor and it worked fine. The built in display just wouldn’t work and I had somehow caused the issue by replacing a failing hard drive myself, but I wasn’t sure what I had done.
I figured there wasn’t much change I could get it fixed at a price making it worthwhile to repair it, but Patrick got it done. Too a little longer than I hoped or expected but it was absolutely worth the wait to get my iMac back repaid fully functional including the display and at a very reasonable price (less than I expected)!
My roommate had an older MacBook Pro that wouldn’t power on. I had no hesitation in taking it in for a diagnostic and repair cost. It only took a day for Patrick to get back to me with a diagnosis and repair quote that was less than HALF of another repair shop. The decision to fix it was easy. And when we got it back, the battery indicated it was failing. He was awesome enough to replace the battery with a used one he had free of charge!
This place is awesome in my honest opinion and I would highly recommend it to anyone! I would go right back in a heartbeat if I needed their services again!

I went in over the weekend to get my macbook pro checked out. It was making a very loud buzzing sound and I thought the fan might be broken. They took it to the back and rattled it around a bit — came back with my macbook not buzzing any longer.
But the best part is, no charge for diagnostic and fixing the problem! (It required no equipment I’m assuming, but still, WOW!) AND my dvd player hadn’t been working for a couple of YEARS and now it is?! I found a paperclip fall out of my superdrive so I’m guessing they were jiggling around and somehow that fixed my dvd player problem. I’m thrilled! :) I’ll definitely return for anything else I may need in the future.

I was so happy that my cousin knew about Longhorn Mac Repair and suggested that I try them when I was visiting her and having trouble with my MacBook. My computer had been experiencing some hiccups but I hoped it would hold up until I got back home. I had been traveling on business in Texas and then stopped to visit my cousin for a few days when it looked like my computer just gave up. It was making weird sounds and just going much slower than normal. My cousin had great success with Longhorn and recommended that I try them.
I love this place. I was able to get in quickly and was met with a high level of customer service. They told me that they would call me as soon as it was ready, which they did and the price was reasonable. Sometimes tech guys can be cold and aloof, but not here, they were warm and caring. Fast, quality service. I cracked my iPhone screen, and it was fixed in a half hour, $ 80 flat rate. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Found this place on craigslist, and drove there the same day to get my iPhone 6 screen repaired. He was SUPER fast, probably only 15 – 20 minutes. While he was repairing it the girl up front helped me decide on new case, etc. I love it– they give you 20% off their already low prices since you are already paying for their service.
They do have otterbox cases, but are not imprinted with the logo since they buy wholesale. This won’t allow you to get a replacement through otterbox if anything goes wrong with it, but I went with the tempered glass to protect my screen anyway so I think I’ll be fine.
They had a special– so I spent $ 100 to repair, got a $ 5 used laptop case, $ 10 tempered glass and 20% off the otterbox case… Walked out of there only paying $ 150 :) Not bad!!!
I will definitely go back to get any of my Apple products replaced– though I really hope I don’t actually need to!

I called all over Austin looking for screen replacement for my macbook pro 13 inch retina. I called 8 mac repair shops that were open on Saturday and all but two said that they would have to order the part. Most quoting me $ 500 to $ 650 to repair.
Not only did Longhorn Mac Repair have the part, but Morris was able to do the repair my macbook in under an hour! A refreshing experience compared to all other shops that I spoke with and or visited. Oh, and the reapir was only $ 350. Bam! You’re the man Morris!

Longhorn Mac Repair was able to fix a phone that two other cell repair places couldn’t repair. Since my son’s first year of life was basically documented on that phone, I was willing to go to some lengths to revive it and was so happy to get that call that the fix was a success!
Maurice was extremely friendly and professional and the price was very fair, especially since they charged $ 0 for a diagnosis. These folks are apple repair certified, and I think it made all the difference.

Lies, I tell you. Damned lies. Longhorn Mac Repair is good, fast, and cheap. I took a dying MacBook in on Wednesday at lunch and prepared to get the bad news. Late Wednesday afternoon, as promised, they called with a diagnosis and a cost estimate before beginning work on it. After fixing some software glitches, installing a new hard drive (and moving the data over), and adding some RAM just to keep things speedy, my total came out way cheaper than either a new laptop OR repairs at anyplace else. And the other repair places wanted to keep my MacBook for at least a week.
So, yes, you can have it good, fast, and cheap. And to top things off, I’m writing this review from my freshly repaired, better than new laptop.
