Kwik Kar Full Service Kar Wash

I’ve been coming to this car wash for about 1 year and I won’t go anywhere else due to the service and attention they give me. I read some terrible reviews and I have some advice: I may have the reputation of being picky and a pain in the butt, and before I take the keys I ensure everything is up to my expectations. People make errors, but you can see the manager running all over the place directing his employees and overseeing nearly every vehicle to ensure a quality customer experience. Before you drive off, instead of writing a negative review, try telling them they missed this or that and make sure you get what you’re paying for whether they have to go over it 5 times or not… these boys and girls are hustling for their tips and paychecks, and if they miss something tell them. I bet you will when you grab your McDonald’s and they forgot the fries, but are you going to put that into the review?

5 stars! I am new to Austin and began Über driving. It is important that my car be kept clean all the time for my business. I called Chris at 512−252−9011 and he was extremely helpful over the phone, displaying great customer service skills. I showed up an hour later to get a yearly VIP pass that included unlimited washes. He came outside to me in the parking lot, shook my hand, and proceeded to explain the many Kar Wash Packages. He negoiatioed down the price and I paid upfront for the year, right then and there. Chris and his staff were both professional and friendly. I also felt they were direct and to the point, so the meet was NOT like dealing with a sleezing car salesmen. I look forward to the great service. I feel that I no longer have to spend at least an hour of my week cleaning the inside and outside of my car.

Not a good service at all drove my car to the check in station no service writer available. The guys in the front drying your car are doing the best job looks like they are short handed with all the cars they had to finish

I’ve been coming here for the last decade.
I’d say it gets 3.5 stars but rounding down.
I’ve always had three star level service, imo. Sometimes it’s 3.5 but consistently right around that 3-​ish level mark.
I paid $ 40 for my wash. Since it’s always wiped down by hand and vacuumed and detailed, I don’t mind paying more money than I would to get a gas station car wash especially since my car is only about a year old.
It’s really the minor things that bring down the score.
They wiped down my dash, steering wheel, doors, and anywhere else they could with a moisturizer of sorts. Looks awesome BUT then my hand gets greasy from the steering wheel and I accidentally touch my seat and my seat gets a black grease mark. Unimpressed. Should have been using a clear product and something that wouldn’t STAIN a seat.
In the pictures I have added, you can see where it’s all shiny and sparkly but the crevice around my window is dirty. I seriously watched someone wipe down my car almost three times over and over again and they still missed this? They had my car for over an hour yet my license plate cover and the underside of my trunk handle door is still covered in dirt? I just expect so much more when I had over that much money.
I had bird poop on the outside of my car door and it didn’t all come off. Instead of hand washing that portion, I was told that they just couldn’t get it off even though, again, I watched a young girl work on my car for an hour and never once saw her attempt to clean it. I got it off later that day but I did take a picture of it beforehand.
The inside was fairly well done and the majority of the outside was good. 3 stars overall.

Not sure what I just paid $ 20 for at this establishment. For the same amount at my car wash in Austin, my car would have sparkled. The exterior wash was fine and three guys looked busy with towels for a few minutes after. But when I got inside my car to leave, I noticed the dash and console were not wiped down and seats were not vacuumed, only the floor. Staff inside were apathetic and slow to respond to a customer standing at the counter. Waiting room is large but smells like smoke covered up with air freshener. Overall, a quite unpleasant experience. I could have gotten a similar result at the $ 8 gas station drive through.

I was in the neighborhood and needed My car washed & detailed. The staff was so helpful and assisted me in what I was looking for. As I waited to see my baby all Bathed & beautified I was asking question about future detailing and what days were best to come in? Did I need an apt or would a walk in like today be better. come to find out I was talking to the supervisor Chris and I was blown away how informative he was with everything from a wash to full detail and answered every question I had. He even gave me a tip on how to keep my car smelling good. I will defiantly come back and refer my friends Great team here… keep up the good work!!! :)

There was an incident with my car and another car. No damage done to either car. But the lot manager Chris made me feel better by giving us complimentary car washes and an upgrade.
I love coming here. They always do a great job. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make me smile.

Needed a place to clean our car for my daughter’s prom. Now they did a fine job, no streaks, dry spots, all clean and wiped down good in the interior. However, there were a couple of downsides, the equipment does look horrible and dirty, and although the people were nice, and the windows were so dirty, that you can’t even see your own car during the wash process. They don’t need an employee break room where the customers wait, especially with some of the topics of discussion being had. There was a Manager there, or least thats what I heard him say to someone on the phone, but to no avail, he was taking his break in the same spot. Clean things up and maybe things will turn around, and don’t write your daily income totals where everyone can see it. Professionalism.

Too expensive and did not do a good job. Missed several things. Got the most expensive package and had to clean my 4 year olds handprints off the windows when I got home. I live in Pflugerville so went here because its convenient. Next time I’ll drive farther to have a good job done.

They always do a great job at detailing. Since they have changed their policy on group tipping, to individuals, the workers take more pride in their work.

I think they have had a change of management, because I went yesterday and not only were they efficient, the quality of my wash, scrub and wax was spot on! The people were friendly and took my time limits seriously!

So, I picked up my grand daughter from Gatesville. We drove about 20 miles and she threw up in the back seat. Such a mess. It was all over the carpet, the back seat, the car seat and the back of the front seat. We pulled over and cleaned her up and cleaned up as much as we could just to get back to Pflugerville. I went by Kwik Kar (I have not had good service there in the past but I was desperate). They were actually closing, on a wet and cold day like this I didn’t really blame them. But Chris was there with his son and they cleaned my carpet, the car seat and the front and back seat of my car with absolutely no charge for the service.
This place is under new management and I will definitely give it another try. They went above and beyond and that just doesn’t happen with businesses very often. I love that they cared and that means something to me. Kudos to the new management for hiring good staff and kudos to Chris and his son.

Only went because it was «Free» with my over priced oil change. Slowest wash in the world.

I gave them one more shot today. Never again, the absolute worst car wash I’ve ever been too. They are not trained and don’t care.

The slowest car wash ever! And not worth the wait either. Car was still dirty. Unfriendly on top of it all! I will not go back, even with the free car wash from across the street! Horrible experience. Oh and 8:00am does not mean what the rest of the universe considers 8:00am!

I came here to get my car vacuumed and washed. What a waste of an hour and money! I was in there with two people in front of me and it took 45 min to get my car through the wash. It took almost 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me when I first drove up. Someone finally came out an asked me what I wanted and I went in. The guy at the counter just asked for the ticket. I was given no ticket. It then took another 10 minutes before someone asked me for my keys; twice!
So finally I see my car on through the wash and someone gets it and it stays untouched for 7 minutes. At this point, I’m timing. There are two attendants drying the cars and they are so slow. So I’m thinking that they are taking their time so they can do a good job. What a joke!
I asked my trunk to be vacuumed and it wasn’t. I had put our Christmas tree In the trunk and there were tons of needles STILL in my trunk. The inside of my car was still dirty and dusty. They didn’t throw out ANY trash from my car! And my front window on the inside was not clean because there were three finger prints!
This place better watch out. There are two other new car washes opening up and will probably put them out of business. I’ll never waste my money again here.

Absolutely horrible — I have stopped going here over a year ago, and it looks like things have only gotten worse.
The complaint is with the horrid state of the equipment. In one case a few years ago, one of the big vertical rotating brushes was broken for months at a time. I was wondering if they were ever going to repair it. I stopped in last month to get an inspection and waited inside while my car was being looked over. The vertical «curtain» that moves up and down and does the majority of the wash chore is in such bad shape that about half of the fabric strips have simply torn off without being replaced. It’s an absolute disgrace.
When they’re busy you can expect your car to sit in the sun getting sun spots baken on until someone finally has a chance to dry it on. This is not directly their fault and can be mitigated by going when they’re not too busy.
To add to the sub-​par exterior wash, the final detail and drying has degraded along with the state of the washing equipment. All of this adds up to the fact that I wouldn’t take my car here even if they offered it for free.

Pretty good experiences here. Liked the option to prepay online and a car wash is included with an oil change or state inspection FTW.
