Yo! Only eyelash studio around the Pflugerville area. Which is north, north Austin. Anyway, love, love, Love my eyelashes that I received from Kristen. She is gentle, sweet, accommodating and informative. She didn’t even care if I fell asleep. Put on any kind of music you want, girl. it’s not me that needs to groove while doing something as tedious as placing one eyelash extension at a time on somebody. Hopefully my head didn’t bobble too much I can tell with my eyes closed that she has great attention to detail, listens and appreciates her work! Cause it most definitely shows! Keep it up, girl. cause you’ll see me again!
Oh and I must say! The groupon deal on their Unilocal website is a steal! Good job to the shop owner for doing this! Cause without the help I wouldn’t feel as beautiful as I do today and feel confident for my vacation trip coming soon! Whoo! Yea baby!

I’ve been going to Glamour Eyes for about 5 months. I’ve seen Dee-​Dee, Kristin and Mary. All VERY talented. My lashes are always beautiful. I don’t want to say who I prefer because I will never be able to see her :)

I got eyelash extensions for the first time and wasn’t completely pleased.
I showed Kristen pictures of how I wanted my eyelashes to look but I think she completely disregarded them. I wanted wispy, long, cat-​eye eyelashes and they turned out to be just straight and one length. They started itching really bad a few days later and falling out.
She also waxed my eyebrows and took off too much from my left side. Kristen is really friendly though!

I had my eyelash extension appointment earlier this morning after purchasing the awesome deal I had found on Groupon! Making the appointment here was a smooth process and the lady on the other line was so kind and helpful! She explained everything to me on the phone and answered all of my newbie questions. Kristen, the sweet girl who applied the lashes, was very welcoming and sweet! The work she did blew me away! I love love love my lash extensions and how she worked with me to get the right look. Definitely will be back!

Rema was sooooooooooo awesome! She spent so much time on me and was very meticulous… oh, and did you guys know she cuts hair as well!

Man, I really wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. I purchased the Groupon for a full set and I had my appointment set with Rema. The place is kinda hard to find, especially since it doesn’t specify anywhere on Unilocal or their website that they’re located in a hair salon. Walking around and having to ask the next door nail salon where this place was made me 6 minutes late – but I was assured by Groupon and Glamour Eyes Studio’s website that there is a 15 minute grace period, otherwise you must reschedule your appointment. This wasn’t the case for me. I walked into the empty salon to be greeted by Rema who has quite the attitude, may I add, and told me that since I was late I must reschedule. She told me because I was a new client that there was time consuming paperwork to be done and I was encouraged to come 10 minutes earlier to my appointment. THIS, is NOT mentioned anywhere. With an attitude she says, «Well for your next appointment, show up early or you could at least come on time.» Well, maybe your website should outright say for new clients, arriving early is expected and that there is paperwork involved. Moving on, I rescheduled and met with Kristin. She was extremely lovely and friendly! «Time consuming paper work»? From what I remember, it was 3 pages asking for my name, address, phone number, and just a terms of agreement ordeal. All whilst Kristin gave the run down of what the papers entailed in LESS than 3 minutes! Kristin had an odd playlist/​radio playing but I understand the type of music was suppose to comfort and relax the client. She asked how long I wanted, what I was going for and explained the different kinds of curls. «On a scale 0-​Kim Kardashian, how dramatic do you want your lashes?» I said ⁶⁄₇ hesitant whether it was going to be TOO out there, or just too natural for my money’s worth. I told her I wanted it shorter in the inner and sort of a cat eye so open my eyes Asian eyes up – and that’s exactly what she gave me! We hugged and she told me to bat my lashes at everyone! I loved them, but somedays I felt that she did a better job on one eye than the other and I know exactly why. Kristin’s technique to give me the volume I wanted (or to ensure I was pleased) she applied too many lashes to ONE thin eyelash, which ultimately made my right eye look droopy whilst the other super curled and perky. I saw this when a false lash was just completely off of my natural lash but there was ANOTHER fake lash connected to the real so it was just hanging on for dear life and I didn’t want to pull on my eyelashes so I literally had a loose lash just sitting there.(Imagine having a random eyelash poking out) I came to full realization of this when I removed the eyelashes and about 6 synthetic lashes were attached to one glue blob with a single eyelash root sticking out! During the procedure, I could feel her yank my actual lashes with her tweezers as if she had placed too much glue on a lash or it was clustering. I could feel her breathing change as she got a little nervous and fidgety and didn’t want to be too aggressive to fix it – but I noticed. The lashes used were synthetic and WAY too heavy for my eyelashes. They were stiff and hard, and whenever my lashes began to grow out the lashes would stab my lash line, and I swear it felt like tiny little needles pricking my eye lids. Although I was given instruction on how to care for them, and was given a sample mascara wand to brush them out after sleeping, I was not told about removal. I got these lash extensions EXACTLY a month ago – they were holding up strong – kinda. They were looking sparse and since they began to grow out it just didn’t look right. I removed them yesterday (for 2 whole hours) holding my face over a bowl of hot steam and rubbing coconut oil with cotton swabs and pads to remove the lashes. And yes, my actual lashes came along with it, even when they fell out on their own before I removed them intentionally. Also, on the Groupon, it mentions that the lashes are not placed on the skin/​eyelid – it did on mine. I have to mention that I developed two small styes on my lashline at the end of it all. The eyelashes felt heavy like a false stripline would, and when I slept I’s wake up to that terrible, groggy feeling that most know when you sleep with your makeup on. BEING ABLE TO WASH YOUR EYES AND NOT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT LASH EXTENSIONS IS SUCH A SATISFYING FEELING, ITS CRAZY. SIDE NOTE: The lash glue smells IDENTICAL to nail glue used for acrylics, haha.

I purchased the groupon offer and was seen by Mary– she was wonderful! Some places I’ve gone to with a groupon are impatient or act burdened by providing services for the discounted groupon price but there was none of that here. Mary made sure she knew what look I wanted, showing me pictures and hearing my thoughts about a previous eyelash extension I’d had done elsewhere. She was extremely friendly and laid back, which was nice. My eyelashes took barely one hour from walking in to walking out, and they look perfect! I only do extensions a few times a year before travel or vacations, but Mary was so great I’ll definitely be back.

Mary is AMAZING! I had the fabulash full set put on and she is so good she got them done in a little less than an hour and a half. She’s so sweet and personable, very thorough, and knows how to make your eyes pop. I visited their newest location in Austin. It’s in a great location off of 2222. I’ll definitely be going back to Mary for my fills.
Also, incase you’re a beginner and aren’t sure what you want the fabulashes are the way to go! The can get wet right after, you can use oil based products (such as face wash) on your face/​eyes, and they stay on longer than basic lash extensions. All lashes take maintenance but these are hands down the easiest.

Mary is the best lash artist in town .Her customer service is great & she does a really good job, she is friendly, sweet & polite .Her place is always clean, highly recommend her, she is super AWESOME.

Mary is the absolute best. She’s a lash artist. Never disappointed with my lashes. She is friendly, gentle and super awesome! She is the best in town hands down. Her place is always clean, equipment sanitized and super comfy. I can’t rave enough about how great of a job she does and how much care she puts into making you feel pretty.

Kristin is the very best! She is so quick and my lashes are amazing! They are so busy it’s hard to get in, but worth the wait.

I’ve been going to Holly at Glamour Eyes and she is AWESOME! She is so very talented, this place ROCKS !! Very very clean, very professional, Holly works very fast and is ver reasonable for the time that she puts in, she spends SOOO much time on your lashes. I LOVE MY LASHES — so glad that I was referred to Holly at Glamour Eyes, she is WONDERFUL!

Mary is the absolute best when it comes to eyelash extensions! She’s sweet, polite, and amazing at applying those little buggers! I went to 2 other salons and once I found Mary I was hooked. She listens to what you want and never tries to suggest anything you don’t like. She’s efficient with time and even though I once ran a little bit late, she ran past our appointment time just to make sure it came out looking great. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I am so so so happy I found Kristen! She was the sweetest and FASTEST lash tech I’ve ever come across. With a past experience at a different place, the cost of maintenance kind of pushed me away from getting fills… But with Kristen doing as well as she did on my full set, I will most definitely be a regular. She’s worth it!

Clean, professional, nice, friendly, and badass glue and lashes! Mary is the best! My lashes last forever!!!

All I want to say is that Kristin SAVED my eye lashes!!!
First off, I had an extremely horrible and painful experience at a previous salon! When they were applying my extensions they held my eyes open, and just dabbed on the lashes! Horrible right? It was an awful experience, and I knew I wanted those extensions off immediately! I was then recommended to this studio… It was the best experience ever!
Kristin, is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. It was NOT painful at all! I could barely tell she was applying the lashes, and at the end of it all my lashes came out looking naturally full and beautiful! So, thank you Kristin for creating a loyal fan!

You’d think people wouldn’t really notice something as small as eyelashes, but it makes a surprising difference on my face. Which is why I’ve been going to see Mary forever.
My lashes are a 10 (you’ll have to ask Mary what that means), but it looks naturally full and not like I’m trying to change wind patterns with my face. Depending on how good I am at taking care of them, they typically last 3 – 4 weeks. One time I was being brutal to them, but Mary fit me in for a quick fill and it was all good.
It could be awkward laying on a table for an hour with your eyes closed, but Mary truly has a customer-​focused approach. One time I didn’t feel like listening to the typical spa whale humping music, so she kicked up a jam and we talked and laughed the entire time. Once I was in a shitty mood and she let me lay there and sleep. Mary is super-​chill but always completely professional. It shocks me that she’s shocked when I leave a gratuity.
Her online reservation system makes it easy to book and the reminder emails are great. But she is POPULAR so book in advance. I cheated on her once because I needed a last-​minute fill before long trip so I went to that OTHER place, that charged twice as much and didn’t last nearly as long. Plus, I felt like I was in an eyelash mill and they put a standard set on vs. talking with Mary about what options are the best for my face.
Beware, you may end up with awesome lashes and a new best friend!

If I could is give her 10 stars! She’s the best out there… Her hands have magic! she’s using the best products and you won’t ever be disappointed.

I’ve been to at least a handful of lash extension places and I can say that Mary is the best for so many reasons. I’ve been coming to Mary for the past 4 months and have not been swayed by discount Groupons to try anyone new.
The prices are very reasonable and appointments are easy to schedule. I’ve scheduled online, via text and in person. There is a 5% discount if you schedule your next appointment when you visit.
The studio is not glamorous, it’s is just a room inside a strip mall hair salon, but Mary makes it very comfortable. She is sweet, easy to talk to, does great work, and is very accommodating. I also love the fact that she doesn’t try to up sell services or products. I know what I’m paying for without feeling like I have to buy extra «products» to maintain my lashes.
I love my new found long lashes and maintenance is easy.

Last week, I was lucky enough to be pummeled by rain and wind while zip lining in the jungle… spend days snorkeling amid fish and coral, get covered in sand watching baby turtles emerge from their nests and spend some mornings challenging salty ocean waves.
What does this have to do with Mary’s Fabulashes?
Well…Mary’s lashes STAYED ON the whole time!!! I had a great vacation and got some great pics.
Whether doing the above or getting dressed up for dinner — I didn’t need to mess with that pesky makeup stuff. Now that is a cool vacation. :)
RE: OILS:
Whole foods sells a small container of jojoba oil. It was cheap, I picked it up. I rub it on lashes for maintenance. The advantage also being that it doubles as eye moisturizer as well. (Serious advantage in that even given the fact I should have some sort of beauty routine I still use soap and water on my face. But I digress…)
Re: NATURAL BLONDES:
Mary ALSO is the the ONLY person I know who can match eyebrows to my naturally light blond hair. Which, given their super light /​nonexistent natural state is pretty impressive. She is part aesthetician and part artist.
Re: DRIVING UP NORTH
Yes, she’s worth it. I live right downtown, and it’s a 15 minute drive straight up 1 – 35 if there isn’t any traffic. I can spend that much time getting across downtown sometimes.
