Emancipet

I brought my kitten here to be spayed, with her 1 shots, and flea treatment. I Checked in at 8:00 am and by 8:45 am after being asked questions about her health, and making sure I understood the paper work I signed. Before I left they made sure they had the correct phone number to contact me. and reminded me to be there to pick her up by 5 pm.
At 2:45 pm I received a phone call letting me know she was recovering nicely would be available for pick up at 4pm. I arrived and picked her up at 445 pm. She was awake and a little groggy but she recognized me. The explained to me the recovery process. I was able to pay via Debit Visa and was in and out with in 15 minutes.
My kitty is doing very well and is healthy and happy as usual. I would recommend and be back to use this clinic again for services. The staff is friendly and very nice to all the pets and pet owners. This place is clean and easy to find location

I am SO glad I discovered Emancipet for my two English Bullys. Last year, we paid close to $ 500 at another vet in town, and just for yearly vaccinations and wellness check! Thankfully, Emancipet is a wonderful alternative, that cost us a third of the price. I won’t go anywhere else now. Very quick service and awesome vets. Thank you Emancipet!

Had to bring my dog in after complications with surgery, they did an amazing job! Very reassuring and thoughtful, all the work we had done to our dog would have cost use thousands of dollars and it was free, thank you soo much emancipet and austin vet care!

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Allen and the staff. Extremely affordable vaccinations. Quick and easy. Vet was really good with my pup and you could tell he really loves animals. I found it far more pleasant in terms of wait, cost, and equal for people experience. The décor was lackluster, but well worth the savings! Highly recommend for quick and easy vaccines.

I had a great experience here. My first fear of being there for a million years was quieted by being in and out within an hour with two dogs on a Saturday morning.
I was just there to get heart worm and flea stuff but still, I only paid a $ 5 visit fee which is $ 30 less than my vet would charge and I got what I needed.
The only thing I would say, which can’t be helped by the place itself is that the front desk staff could try to say something to people that are letting their dogs act like fools — or I should say, the people acting like fools not controlling their dog (s).
I recommended it to a friend just the other day as he just got a pup and this is a great resource.

GO TO THIS LOCATION. Avoid the 3 hour long waits at the «main» Emancipet location. Everytime I have come here, my average wait is 15 minutes. I got my 5 lb. puppy spayed just 3 weeks ago, and the staff was awesome! They called when they were finished to let me know how she was doing, and then called when she was ready to be picked up. My puppy was recovered in just 1 day!
I have gotten all of my puppy’s booster shots here, as well as heartworm and flea prevention meds because of the amazing prices. You can’t beat the prices and super nice and helpful staff. I don’t know why anyone would go anywhere else. I definitely trust these kind people with my puppy!

Dr. Barton is he kindest soul ever and happens to be a phenomenal vet. Each pet gets a throughcheck up and he is more than willing to share his expertise.

These folks you’re awesome!!! From the gentleman who greeted us at the door, to the nurse, to Dr. Gonzalez, the entire staff was awesome! We have two Chows and if you know anything about Chows then you know that they a little crazy and can be aggressive. Well our’s are no different. The big male got thru his shots pretty well. Unfortunately our female did not. She became aggressive and mean. The staff took all of this in stride and got both dogs the vaccinations that they needed. We will only be taking our dogs to the facility in the future.
I would like to add that they are non-​profit and their prices reflected that. Very inexpensive for both the vaccinations and medication. I asked the gentleman who checked us in if there was anything that we could do to help. He did not ask for money, he asked for used towels. I had to ask about their non-​profit status. No hard sales, no we need money, just great customer service and great dog service. My wife and I will be buying towels and delivering them to Emancipet. I would recommend this operation to anyone who needs pet care!

Great, quick and easy process. My dog has a lot of energy and the staff was very understanding and helpful because I had my hands full with my dog. Very informative and overall a great experience. I forgot to mention very affordable. Saved over $ 100 on my visit.

Very nice space — clean, orderly and very professional. They took care of my little one in less than 20 minutes for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend!

Great place; big heart. They offer vet surgical and medical services with extreme professionalism and pride. I took my baby for Spay and they were attentive, they called me when the surgery was over and provided me with details. Definitely a great place! Please donate so they can keep in businesses for a long time. Private Vet prices sometimes are outrageous…

I have been here about 4 times and its always a in and out process for shots and medicine! They never rush you and my microchip was free!

No appointment necessary for shots and I probably only waited 5 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient with my dog who can be a bit quirky and difficult at vets. Dr. Barton was patient and sweet to my dog and distracted him with spray cheese on the exam table while he gave the shots. It was a quick visit but I highly recommend this place to anyone needing shots or heart worm prevention pills/​testing, nail trims or any of the other services they provide for pets. Low cost and amazing service, nothing more I could ask for. This was really a perfect experience.

The other reviewers tell the story. I enjoy supporting the free services — and great prices — so I take my pets to Emancipet. What I like in addition to all the wonderful reviews is that the waiting room is small because the wait is short. The parking lot fills up so parking can be challenging if you want close parking — but there is always plenty of parking. So read the reviews of other Unilocalers.

Great place to take care of your babies! My fiancé took our pup to get all bortedella, DHPP, leptosprosis, rabbies, and an glad expression all for $ 68! Great service!

I never take my dogs to the standard veterinary office for their annual shots. Why would you when you can support places like this all while saving money!
I recently moved to Austin and 1) hadn’t found our local low-​cost clinic to get vaccines and 2) adopted a new dog.
Our new dog needed a microchip. Emancipet had the best prices of other low-​cost clinics in the area.
We went in on a Saturday morning — I was expecting a very long wait. Nope. In and out within 15min. The staff was FANTASTIC! So friendly and so in love with our dog which is exactly the feeling you want when going into an animal health facility.
We will definitely be coming here for every vaccine/​microchip/​etc in the future!

Every month, my little one goes here and he’s been going here for years. It’s so cost efficient and it’s all listed on their website as well if you want to check it out.
They are so caring and friendly. They’ll answer all your questions. Everything is low-​cost and they’re doing good things for the community with their low-​cost spay and neutering.

I can not say enough about how great Emancipet is. Everyone working here is kind, caring, and attentive. We brought our female cat Susu to be spayed last week at their mobile van. It was totally free including the antibiotics. She’s very active and although we kept her confined she was licking at the stitches. Got her a collar from petsmart, which was hard to work with and she was unable to eat with it on. After taking it off for her to eat yesterday, I noticed a small hole in her stitches that was not there 5 mins before.
I called the emergency line, freaking out, and the Dr. on call advised that I go to the clinic in the morning. First, they replaced that terrible collar with a soft cloth one, again at no charge. They cleaned up her stitching area and advised that she should be fine as long as the wound doesn’t get any worse. Gave us another dose of the antibiotic… for a fraction of what it would cost elsewhere, and sent us on our way.
