Jake provided very good service for customizing sheet metal for my trailer. The metal shop is top notch, clean and very impressive! I would reccommend this shop for anyone needing quality metal work.

There are not enough superlatives in the English language to accurately describe how great my experience has been with Custom Sheet Metal. I started working with Ron the owner probably in the late ‘90s, I would guess 1997 when he built me a custom battery box for my race car. Since then, he’s built custom metal locking amp enclosures in 2 boats, ceiling mounts for the center and rear speakers in my loft, aluminum shrouds for my car stereo, countless custom brackets and modifications to existing metal parts I brought him. It’s definitely made me realize I’m getting older as Jake, the owner’s son was about 10 when I first started going there and now he’s poised to take over the family business. On the rare occasions where I’ve put an unreasonable timeline on my work they have found a way to deliver. They tolerate my vague, non mechanically drawn instructions with patience and genuinely enjoy my projects. The most involved was a custom aluminum console in my Defender. I parked my truck in their bay for 3 days while they hand shaped it to fit the transmission tunnel. They also built a custom iPad mount that is simply one of a kind with a huge degree of difficulty.

Awesome people to work with. Creative and talented. Work is outstanding.

The worst customer service I’ve encountered in years of dealing with construction suppliers.
Their arrogance is as bad as it can get.
Don’t ever think that talking to the owner is going to get any better than talking to Amanda he is probably worst that she is.
People, there are plenty of custom sheet metal places servicing this area where you will be treated as a valued customer.
Yes is the first time I order that specific piece and I needed some help from them.
If you don’t know exactly what you want 100% don’t expect any good service from this company.

Thought I did not provide enough information about my experience.
So here you go so they can find a better excuse to remove my Review.
Called and asked for some lintels for a one of our job sites.
I needed some guidance and making sure that what we had ordered as the right things before they produced it, so I asked if they could just show do a quick sketch to make sure we were on the same page about it.
His answer was «I cant do this if you want you need to drive here. I explained that I could not leave work, he said well dont order and started going off on my till i hanged up the phone on him.
This is just the end of it but since day one that we tried to order this it was nothing but bad attitude.
So after this incident I looked up other companies in the same area, I approached them with the same information and asking the same questions as requesting the same things
ALL of them happily helped me and not only that their prices where less than half of what Custom Sheet Metal wanted to charge us.

Custom Sheet Metal is top notch! Ron personally took time with me to work on my project. Ron advised me where I could go myself to get material in order to save me money. Once I had the material in hand Ron stopped working on much bigger projects and took me out to the shop and personally modified my material for my specific needs. Throughout the hole project I was never charged for any consultation time. I recommend to anyone needing or having a metal fabrication project large or small to go and see Ron and Custom Sheet Metal.

Custom Sheet Metal is how a business should be ran. Their customer service was great, pricing was unbeatable and the service was exactly what was wanted. I needed work (cut out 4 ½ inch holes in my armor plating) for my Jeep’s rear quarter panels and stopped by on the off chance they could be assistance. Jake looked at the armor went through options with me and provided a bid. I dropped it off first thing in the morning and it was completed by noon. The work was clean, perfect and presentable even when it didn’t have to due to being covered up by rubber gasket where it wouldnt show.
Always needing custom work done with the Jeep and house — made a customer for life.

I worked with Jake who got my project done quickly and on budget, and advised on ways it could be done more economically. Communication was clear and prompt. They gave me a full tour of their awesome shop facilities. I will be glad to continue to use them for my fabricated metal parts for my unique sculptures.

Custom Sheet Metal says what it does, and does what it says. We needed a custom stainless steel shaft/​cover to match our kitchen range vent and the owner Ron went above and beyond to help us get exactly what we needed. Not to mention, everyone who works there is very nice, funny, and a pleasure to work with. Our job was not the easiest (strange angles/​measurements) but they did it. They work incredibly fast and their prices can’t be beat. We are so impressed with this business and it’s owner that we will never go anywhere else for this sort of thing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. AAA+++

This place is awesome, and the people are awesome-​r. I needed a piece of sheet metal for a countertop and when an online site wanted to charge a ludicrous amount for shipping I did a quick google search and found Custom Sheet metal. The whole process was painless, the staff friendly, and the workmanship was fast and to spec. They even let me hold my piece there until I had arranged transportation. I’ll definitely be back for any and all future metal needs.

A++ customer service. This place is right around the corner from me, and on a whim I decided to drop by to see if they could repair a metal art print I had that had a dinged corner.
I’m not sure who was working there, but he led me into his shop and repaired the metal print in about 5 minutes. I was going to tip him, but he wouldn’t take my money. I left extremely happy with the workmanship.

Custom Sheet Metal is The place to go for your custom metal needs. I always go to them for my new ideas or jobs I cannot handle. The boys have made me planters for my roses, name plates, signs, and even a magnet board for my kitchen. They do the highest quality work and have always impressed me with the speed in which they deliver. 6 stars but Unilocal would only let me leave 5.

These guys are fantastic. My hobby is restoring vintage Bang & Olufsen stereos. My passion is designing contemporary furniture. These guys are have been instrumental for both. I’ve worked with the staff on many projects and I’m a loyal customer. Amazing stainless steel work.

Did a great job cutting a corporate logo for my company at a ¼th the price of the «artist» that offered to do it. They have just about every type of metal on earth so they are capable of doing any job you can imagine.

Custom sheet metal has made me stainless cabinet, shelves and counters. Over the last 16 years I have called Ronnie or assistant Rhonda regarding a project I needed and in many cases Ronnie will design it to work no matter what the project. I went by last week and he was building a small train for parents and kids to ride in the park. Once again an Austin original, small business who knows how to take care of the customer. say hello to Keith in the warehouse if you ever stop by. He is Ronnie’s left hand, Rhonda is his right.
