History
Established in 1984.
It was always a dream of the owners, Robert and Jean Day to own an inn. In searching for a building to operate such an establishment, the Days came across a run down, neglected Greek Revival house in the center of Petersham. The house had been vacant for several years and the last renovation was circa 1910. But the house had great bones and potential so in 1982, the Days bought it and took two years to restore it to its original 1842 beauty. Winterwood at Petersham opened January 1, 1984.
