History

Established in 1984.

I taught myself to knit after being tossed out of a knitting class for being left handed! I was doing everything backwards they said. Six months later I sold my first collection of childrens sweaters to the very same store and I haven’t stopped since. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to create sweaters that are sure to become heirlooms and custom making that special sweater that’s just for you.

Living in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire has given me years of endless inspiration. As the seasons change, so does the fibers I work with. Mostly wool, buying from local sheep farms around here as much as I can, and my favorite, Icelandic wool, knitting away making sure everyone is warm and comfy thru the long winter months.

Handmade is not a slogan, but a way of life. Knitting traditional designs, with my own «twist» on things, using embroidery, handmade wood buttons, paying extra attention to the little details that make it unique, is what I’m all about.
