Going to this shop is always a great time.
They have tons of unique treasures and lovely terrariums with fun modern elements thrown in.
The staff is attentive, and friendly. Prices on some items tend to be really steep, but it’s a high end store and even if you’re just walking around you’ll enjoy yourself.

Unlike the normal «near-​tique» shops having the usual inventory of distressed looking furniture, overpriced linens and cute lawn statuary.
Bowerbirds has an extensive inventory that is ever-​shifting. Beautiful, unique plants. Sturdy, stylish china. Great garden accents. Cool travel memorabilia. A few thoughtfully chosen antique pieces. Gorgeous location.
It is really hard to explain unless you visit. This is my first (and usually last) stop when buying a gift for someone that I care about. Parking can be a struggle but it is worth the trouble.

One of my favorite places to shop. Whenever my anniversary or valentines day or my fiances birthday rolls around this is always the first place I shop. Whether you want to buy a terrarium or make one yourself this is the place to go. I would say that even if you end up deciding that you don’t want anything here you will still be glad you stopped and looked around. Also they have a good selection of candles and other fragrances that always make this place smell great. This is the epitome of why I love Peterborough

I never realized how beautiful collections of things could be. The displays in this shop are magical. The kind that homemakers dream about. And the little potting room in the back that over looks the river… seriously, it’s not even fair to have a view that RELAXING ! Well done. Cant wait to come back!
