I left there a very happy customer– same day service, in and out quickly… and back on the road with safe tires. I had called my usual place, they couldn’t get me in for days– given the rain, wear on my tires and knowing my teen was driving on unsafe bald tires, this was a life saver!

In and out in under a half an hour; no pressure on upselling, friendly without being fake customer service and my main selling point was that I badly needed two new tires on a shoe string budget — I was able too get them used for a price I can afford right now and I’ll be going back for 4 new when I can.

I only had an hour between jobs and needed tires on my work trailer. I was in and out and made it to my appointment early. Very reasonable prices, and I got a real honest feeling. I’ll look forward to spending my money here on future service needs.

They were honest, helpful and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg (or a set of 4 new tires-​which happens all over the place!!!). They patched my broken tire and I was able to buy a used tire (in great shape) for my spare… total cost (mounting, service, tire, everything): $ 70!!! I will definitely return for my brakes and any further tire needsI may have!!!

I have traded with Tom and Dianne for over 20 years and my recent experience with them was excellent as always. They did front end repairs, engine tuning, even replaced my heater fan switch and took my van and got it smogged for me. And they still laugh at my jokes.

Look no further, this is the place. Honest, fast, fair. Great customer service. Old school — they care about the quality of their work and take care of their customers. I had a hard to solve tire issue (Sonoma Tire claimed to fix it 3 times but failed each time) and these folks saved the day.

Need tires? This is the ONLY place to consider in the North Bay! I live in Marin but will drive to Petaluma to get my tires here. I’ve made the mistake of getting them elsewhere once, but I learned from that mistake and returned to Petaluma Tire Source. I called on Thursday to give them my tire size and said I needed two front tires and that I would be up first thing Saturday (today) to get them. I got there at 8am and was back out on the road at 8:25! I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy and paid a fair price. While I can’t guarantee that everyone will be in and out in 25 minutes, I can say this happened to me! I had gotten 4 tires here about 3 years ago and had a similar experience. They know their stuff and are very kind and customer service oriented. When I read some of the other reviews that mention the waiting room I have to laugh. It’s a TIRE STORE! Do you expect fancy leather furniture and plush carpets? Let’s get real people! Again, I say Need Tires? Head to Petaluma Tire Source!

I’ve been coming here for 20 years now. Wish every business was run this honestly, courteously and efficiently. If you come in with a flat tire, they don’t try to sell you a new tire unless you need it. I’m really grateful this nice small business is in PTown. The large waiting room is kinda funky but very comfortable, even if it does smell like tires! I do love this place.

I don’t know crap about cars which is most likely why my car ended up here. I’ve always been severely skeptical and intimidated of auto shops partly because I’m not too auto-​literate and have surrendered to the stereotype that mechanics are out to try and rip the less-​knowledgeable off. All of the fears, doubts and cynical thoughts vanished when I came here.
I had previously come here to change a tire and was not aware until recently that they do all kinds of auto repair and maintenance. The tire service here is extremely affordable and fast! They have a waiting room, a pot of coffee and magazines to help alleviate waiting anxieties.
Recently, I had my timing belt give out on me and damage some parts of the engine. I had it towed by AAA. When I told the tow truck guy that I wanted it towed to Petaluma Tire Source he replied, «Oh! You want it taken to Bill’s!?» (I don’t remember the actual name so I’m using a made up name.) I was impressed that the tow truck driver knew the auto shop by the owner’s name. Great sign.
The shop was able to take it in immediately and quickly quote the price for the fix-​up. I was incredibly worried about what they quote because I’ve read articles of people pushing out $ 3 – 4,000 for fixing timing belt damage. I was originally quoted $ 2,000 for my car repair and was then told the price was $ 1,970 because some parts were cheaper than thought. This was very cheap for a notoriously expensive fix-​up. Included was an oil change, replacement of other parts and a tune-​up.
They also allowed me to keep the car there for a few weeks while I came up with enough money to pay them.
These guys are incredible and I highly recommend their services to those in Sonoma County.

Ok, so Tire Source saved me again. I live in SF but work in Petaluma. After being told at Jiffy Lube that they can’t do oil changes on Minis, and my flat tire light coming on, I drove straight to Tire Source. Diane told me they’d check the tires and could do the oil change no problem. Yay! They changed the oil and patched a tire with a nail in it (for free) so I could get home that night and back for the new tires the next day. Everything went perfectly. Super fast and reasonably priced.
I chose to go here even tho the dealership in the city recently sent me a $ 500 gift card for service. It’s a hassle to go there, and I trust Diane & the guys at Tire Source. And now that I know they do auto repairs, I’m going there from now on.
Also, I should mention my boss has been going here «forever» and thinks the world of them.
