Gregory Roberts, a ceramic artist with a career spanning two decades, is excited to announce the opening of StudioC2, a unique gallery and workshop dedicated to bringing innovative ceramic art to the North Bay. StudioC2 is passionate about exhibiting the work of innovative ceramic artists from Northern California and looks forward to bringing 8 distinctive exhibitions to the Petaluma arts community in the next year. StudioC2 is a dedicated space for artists to display their ceramics both for exhibition and sale.

«Since moving to the bay area in 1991 I’ve always dreamed of owning a gallery and now I hope that StudioC2 will become a vibrant addition to the North Bay art scene, by bringing new artists to light and inspiring the next generation of collectors».

About StudioC2 founder, Gregory Roberts

In 1992, Gregory Roberts was the first artist to utilize honeycomb ceramics to create art, bringing a completely unique material to the clay and glass world, which was first shown at Dorothy Weiss Gallery in San Francisco. He has been an artist –in-​residence at the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts, Portland and had his first solo exhibition, Small Business at Butters Gallery in Portland, OR in 1995. He has been on the faculty of the Department of Art at Sonoma State University for 15 years where he has served as the head of the arts department. For more information visit: Gregoryroberts. us
