The Enrolled Agent profession dates back to 1884 when, after questionable claims had been presented for Civil War losses, Congress acted to regulate persons who represented citizens in their dealings with the U.S. Treasury Department.

Douglas H Pickford EA P.

Business Owner

Douglas Pickford is an Enrolled Agent and has over 35 years of experience in taxation. As a member of the California Society of Enrolled Agents he receives the latest and most advanced training in tax law. Doug is the former Treasurer for the California State PTA. He Currently serves as the Treasurer for the California Society of Enrolled Agents. He also teaches tax law and preparation for the Internal Revenue Service, VITA Program.
