Process was fast but precise, gentle, easy and professional. I love that Dr. Andy, who also had a good sense of humor, called to check on me after the procedure. Assistant Katie was gave me a good explanation of procedure and was really competent and friendly. Office staff were attentive and nice. Office was modern, comfortable and bonus for massage chair. Overall good experience, I am glad my dentist recommended me.

I got my first (hopefully only) root canal today. Obviously not something you look forward to but Dr. Andy and his assistant Katie were amazing! At worst, I’d call my pain level right now (9 hours later) as mild discomfort. I don’t even feel the need to take Advil. A+ in my book!

I had a root canal on Friday morning, it was so easy no pain I had a really good experience since I arrived to office they make you feel that you are in good hands Dr. Andy is so kind he explain to me all the procedure and he also called me later to see how was doing I highly recommend The laser treatment with Dr. Andy

Dr. Andy Ashtiani is one of the most professional, compassionate, and caring endodontists I have seen. His use of laser endo is truly state of the art and his office is modern and clean. His staff are all friendly and compassionate as well. Highly recommended for anyone!

Two words: LASER BEAMS. While I don’t recommend having a root canal, if you have to have one, I definitely recommend the laser treatment that this office provides. The pain was so much less than the old grind and fill method and recovery was a snap. I went straight back to work and my discomfort (I cannot even call it pain) was manageable with a couple of Advil. I think this office is the only office in the Bay Area offering this treatment so wherever you are, it’s worth the trip north.
But even if every endodontist offered this treatment or Dr. Andy shut down his laser beams and dusted off his files, I’d still go here. This is such a great office. Clean, contemporary, friendly. Dr. Andy is so skilled, efficient and very kind. He was even positively reinforcing his staff while I was in the chair — complimenting them on their technique, thanking them at every turn. Loved that. Everyone seemed very skilled, responsive and confident.

The staff is very friendly, Dr. Andy came out and greeted me himself. He was quick, precise & professional. I am very happy that my dentist referred me here as they are professional, friendly and are on my insurance so the cost was extremely minimal for the best technology currently available.

When I had a painful emergency at my Dentist I had to be referred to a Specialist. Wen the front desk told me he was in Petaluma, I protested ‚“Don’t you have one in Santa Rosa or closer than Petaluma.” I was reassured that I would really be happy, just trust her. Mercy, Mercy Thank God she was right.
Dr. Andy was the BEST. The office had all the «right stuff» if you get me. Top notch. And Dr. Andy had the expertise to go with it. He did an incredible job and for the first time in 11 days I was pain free. My recovery went smooth Baby :^) Thanks DR Andy for being a Champ. I would drive to San Francisco to get this kind of care.

I was referred to Dr. Andy here in lovely Petaluma by another local dentist, Dr. Rick Lane.
I had a horribly painful toothache for about four days. Dr. Andy came in on his day off to greet me and assess the problem. His staff had originally set my appointment for 3 pm, and were able to move it up to 10:30 am, and when you’re in pain, every minute counts !!
Dr. Andy greeted me with kindness and could see that I had a lot of anxiety regarding the cold and hot test. He was so patient with me and calmed me down. His bedside manner is a 10 out of 10. I recommend him to anyone needing a root canal.
Dr. Andy is also an anesthesiologist, so he understands the practice of keeping his patients pain free.
His staff is also wonderful and friendly. It’s too bad it’s a place that requires minimal visits because they are the kind of people you’d like to visit regularly and stay in touch with.

I absolutely hate going to the dentist. This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had. The staff was super friendly and did everything to make me feel at ease. Dr. Andy is fantastic!

I had a horrible tooth ache and was referred to Dr. Andy. When I walked into the modern office I was greeted by a very friendly staff. When I was told my two options (root canal or extraction) I started to cry. Both Dr. Andy and his assistant were very patient and comforting. When I made the decision to start the root canal process I was so nervous and scared, but they were very good at explaining everything they were doing and asking if I was comfortable, etc. In the end the worse part was the numbing and Dr. Andy is so good at that you barely feel it. He personally calls the same day to check up on you and make sure everything is going o.k. Dr. Andy and his staff has helped me to get over my fears of dentist and the procedures that go along with them.

Dr. Andi is the BEST! My 14 year old daughter had to have a root-​canal and our dentist referred her to Dr. Andi, she was quite nervous about the whole situation and Dr. Andi really took care of her. He was very attentive towards her, he asked her the whole time how she was doing and even tried to fix her tooth w/​out having to do the root canal.
Dr. Andi is a hero and he will be our go to guy for all our tooth troubles going forward — Thank you Dr. Andi — we love you!!!
