Mister Mcgoo’s is the oldest restaurant in Petaluma. In business for 47 years and going strong. Has a banquet facility which holds up to 75 people. We have the best prime Rib in town. With specials that run weekly we always have a good variety. Some geat chicken dishes such as chicken marsala and chicken tuscano.

History

Established in 1965.

Mister Mcgoo’s was named after Bob McGaughey the original owners last name.(they called him in mcgoo in high school). His son Tony who has worked there since he was six is the owner now. Longest family owned restaurant in Sonoma County. (47 years)

Tony Mcgaughey has worked at Mcgoo’s since he was 6 years old.

He is married to Amy Silveira McGaughey who is a Jr. High school teacher. They have 3 kids Teresa 10 Jamie 7 and Anthony 4.

Mcgoos is a family place the three kids will often be seen working

around the restaurant. Which always has that family atmosphere!
