I coach and consult through a Ecosomatic process, using one’s entire being for the process for change. This holistic approach produces sustainable change, fundamentally shifting the self. The Ecosomatic approach to transformation couples our connection to self-​transformation and the natural world, bringing us to an awareness of our place in the world, purpose and calling, and allowing the essence of ourself to be lived. This supports generating your future, moving through transitions and breakdowns, and living a fulfilling and generative life.

For the last 15 years I have been teaching, coaching, and working in organizations to produce change. For many years I have taught through Strozzi Institute and am one of their senior teachers. I am one of the foremost somatic practitioners in the US and Europe, training many other somatic coaches and practitioners over time.

My other specialty is in couples coaching. Over the last decade I have coached many people in building primary relationships and the Art of the Long-​Lasting Relationship © in tandem with my life partner, Madeline Wade. Using our 38 year relationship and over 30 years of personal development together, we have developed a process based in somatics and yanantin, a South American indigenous understanding of complementary dualism.

I have been in my own personal development since 1987, earned the rank of Nidan (second degree blackbelt) in Aikido, and have studied and practiced indigenous wisdom for the past decade.

History

Established in 2014.

Bringing together my work of the last 18 years through Strozzi Institute, 40 years of study in processes of change and transformation, and a decade of study and practice of indigenous wisdom and practices, I developed the Ecosomatic Approach to Transformation.

Over the years, I have worked with thousands of individuals, scores of organizations, presented at seven colleges and universities, and taught somatics in the US, Europe, and Asia.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Mark Mooney is Master Somatic Coach, Leadership Development and Training facilitator, and personal transformation master teacher. He specializes in creating depth for individuals, couples, teams and organizations.

He is also a teacher and consultant for Strozzi Institute, having taught at the Institute for the last 15 years, studying under Richard Strozzi-​Heckler, PhD, for the last 22 years, and has had the honor and pleasure of teaching publicly-​enrolled courses in the US, the UK, China, and Singapore.

Through his varied careers and studies he is a master woodworker, teacher, coach, facilitator, and second-​degree black belt in Aikido. It is with this variety of life experiences that enables Mark to bring deep transformation to individuals, couples, and organizations.

He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, has managed several small businesses and owned his own manufacturing business for six years. Mark has been a guest presenter seven colleges and universities.
