This review is for their water buffalo soft-serve and Double 8 Gelato. I was excited to try water buffalo gelato, expecting it to be at least above average. The vanilla soft-serve was not as good as most soft-serve. It is sweeter and more watery than most. I prefer it creamy. The hazelnut gelato is sweeter and less addictive than most ice cream is for me. Dextrose, glucose and milk powder is used to create a gelato-like texture. Oddly, it is thinner than I like. As far as I can tell, water buffalo dairy does not have a distinguishing taste. However, the consistency is different from cow dairy. Will update this review if I happen upon products that make their dairy shine.

An old Catholic property, rehab center and… buffalo milk producer? Yes, buffalo milk. They provide the source for some great cheeses, like those from North Bay Whey and Curds. Asides from the Ramini operation, this is the only other buffalo dairy producer in the area. It takes great raw materials to make great products. Fat filled buffalo milk FTW
