Contessi Ballet School

Marcella (as she introduced herself) Contessi is one of the warmest ballet teachers I’ve ever had, and my regret is that I only met her now, and not when I was a professional dancer. She is a quiet and encouraging spirit, and I adore being around her. She will give you her best, as long as you do the same:)

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Smith and Contessi Ballet. My daughter has progressed through several ballet levels and my spouse and I take adult classes. There is ballet from age 3 through to advanced pointe work plus classes for teen and adult beginners. As well as modern, hip hop, tap, jazz, ballroom, gypsy, and more. For boys and girls, men and women.
There are two performances a year and, while participation is optional, everyone who wants to be a part of it is included. These are top notch productions too, featuring Mrs. Smith’s professional choreography.
Some studios are sticklers for what color shoes and leotards you wear, but that’s just not an issue here. What Contessi teachers care about is learning proper technique in a supportive environment.

My daughter started Contessi this year, she was 3 and is now 4. Mrs. Smith runs a great ballet school. All the dancers are super friendly and being involved in The Nutcracker this year was amazing. I highly recommend Contessi Ballet.
