Applied Carpet And Upholstery Care Was founded in 2004, By myself, Jon LaRue. I Perform all of the work and Guarantee your complete satisfaction. I am Certified By the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration (IICRC certified). I was born and raised in the north bay and started cleaning at the age of 19. I am a Petaluma resident and currently service all of Marin and Sonoma counties. customer service and satisfaction, as well as, the environment, are my top priorities. Therefore, I pay careful attention to detail and use Environmentally safe products.

I called Applied Carpet Care at the recommendation of our realtor, hoping to get our disgusting carpets that need replacing to look a little better, but not really thinking but was possible. I came home and was floored! While there are still a few spots here and there, it looks amazing! He truly did the impossible.

Thank you so much to Jon and his crew. They returned calls quickly, showed up on time, got straight to work and made my carpet look like new. They also had some good advice on how to do some maintenance and what kind of carpet to get for some stairs in our house that need to be recarpeted. Price seemed reasonable, because as others have noted, they were here for quite a while, doing a very thorough job. Will definitely call them again.

As a carpet cleaner in the past, I know how little time we had to give attention to detail. It was get in and get out. Knowing this, I wanted an independent company to do a good job. Jon spent 3 times the amount of time any big company would have and the end results were amazing. I will go nowhere else for my carpet cleaning. The price is not competitive to the big company’s advertising low prices but in this world you get what you pay for. I have nothing bad to say and only referrals will come from me.

I just had wall to wall carpeting cleaned by Jon and am extremely pleased with the results. There were areas I did not think would come clean (Jon wondered too) yet after hours of work the stains were gone. Jon arrived on time, was quite personable and took as much time as it needed to get the job done right. In the past I have experienced carpet cleaners who would do a little pretreatment, do a quick one pass once over with the machine and head for the door. I had taken the time to seriously vacuum in the two days before Jon came as I wanted the best results possible. Jon even re vacuumed areas with his commercial machine just to be sure. Jon came by himself but I had told him earlier that I had already moved whatever furniture required moving. In prior cleaning there seemed to be a quick return visible stains and dark areas. I am hoping this time we can avoid that issue. Thanks Jon!

Jon is awesome. He has helped us out twice with cleanup of a large dog urine stain in the same area within about a months time. Both times he did a great job and was able to come over quick. Its nice having a local carpet cleaner who does good work and has fair prices. We plan to use him for annual carpet cleanings going forward. Thanks Jon!

I have been using Applied Carpet & Upholstery Care for both my home and for my business. We have several pets in our home and Jon takes great care of our carpets and furniture.
I also own a preschool and love that Jon’s cleaning products are eco-​friendly and safe for use in a preschool. We have Jon care for our carpets twice a year religiously and because of his excellent care of our carpets, we have not had to replace our carpets, not to mention that they always look great.
Jon’s prices are affordable and his service is top notch. As a small business owner, I appreciate his work ethic, product knowledge, suggestions and I feel good about supporting a fellow small business owner!

We’ve been using Jon at Applied for our carpets for over 7 years and have always had great service and results. Everything from returning phone calls for scheduling, explaining what to expect once he gets here, and working respectfully in our home, is professionally done. We’ve also used him for water damage after our washing machine hose came undone and dumped water all over. He knows how his trade and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do the job.
