We are pretty comfortable with Cracker Barrel restaurants and this one is great for the fun gift store and convenient eatery but the service, while friendly, is quite slow and inefficient. Nice server but she just couldn’t get it all together and for a simple breakfast it took so long to get our food to the table. Generally country fried steak is delicious but today I believe the one I was served was heated over from last night and the gravy was not hot enough that it just sit right where it was spooned on top, didn’t even move… Just globbed on one heap… Not good. Biscuits were not fresh. If they were then they are doing something wrong because they were like day old biscuits. Everything was sub-par and a disappointment but I guess it did fill my tummy.

We stopped for lunch on our road trip. There were four women and we each spilt the fish fry with a buddy. We ordered the cod. It was delicious! The okra was great and so were the turnips. The staff was a little slow but very nice and courteous, I mean this IS Georgia! Slow in the south and sweet as sugar! Overall, a pleasant dining experience!

Wasn’t sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews. We were greeted by Betty, who was very friendly as she seated us. Pamela was our server and she was awesome! Attentive and kept our beverages filled. We both ordered a new item, the steak and pepper skillet breakfast. It was hot and really good! Nice large pieces of tender steak! Betty also engaged us on the way out, inquiring if we enjoyed our meal. Plenty of RV parking, which we also appreciated! We would come back!

It was ok. Just stopped in for lunch on the way to the mountains. Had sandwiches and salads. Service was good. Food was what you would expect from CB. Fine for a quick lunch on the road.

I am staying nearby, but as much as I love Cracker Barrel, I almost didn’t go here, based on some of these reviews. Glad I decided to go anyway, because I had really, really great service, and the food was excellent, as always. So I must say, take those negative comments with a grain of salt.

this is the worst Cracker Barrel I have ever been to. Service was horrible, food came out cold and incorrect. Ask to speak to Manager(had to ask 2 times) he came to table said he was sorry and walked away… that’s it! Well I guess he really don’t care about customers…

Ironically, my husband and I were just talking about how all Cracker Barrel’s are consistently the same. We no longer believe that! After two long days of traveling, we stopped at this CB for a much needed break from the road, a hot meal and a good strong cup of coffee. We got the break. Most of our food was warm at best, my baked sweet potato was undercooked, and the coffee was weak. I went to the ladies room on the way out, and was shocked to see how dirty and unkept it was. AND. an employee had just finished cleaning it! I developed an awful stomachache within 30 minutes of eating, and even my «iron gut» husband’s stomach was rumbling. Sorry CB of Perry, GA. we won’t be back.

First time at a Cracker Barrel & very disappointed. My daughter ordered the pulled pork on a bun and asked for fries. We were told she could only have soup or salad. She doesn’t like either, so she passed. I was going to order the southern fried chicken sandwich, but would have had to have soup or salad only with that. So, I said I would like a hamburger with fries; thinking I would share them with my daughter. Her sandwich arrived & she really liked it. I got my hamburger and it was on bread; not a bun.(Not very good either). I guess you can’t have a hamburger on a bun with fries! Hamburgers on a bun are with soup or salad. Even if you offer to pay more! What the heck?! To top it off, the fries didn’t arrive at the table until we were done eating. Don’t think I will try Cracker Barrel again.

Second weekend in a row we have eaten here and the service is awful. You get breakfast by piecemeal. Pancakes, no syrup for 10 minutes or longer, biscuits came last with no gravy for another 10 minutes so everything is cold by the time you eat it. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Seated right away & our server came soon. The wait was a bit long for our food, but it was New Year’s Day with limited choices open in the area. My Reuben was fine & the others Burgers were fine. No problems & the server came back several times to check on us.

I was a server at CB for two years in college and have eaten at them all over the states for ten years. A couple of years ago I was ninety minutes away but would drive the distance on a friday after work just for the fish fry. Best thing ever, friday fish fry cod win brown rice and dumplings. The rice was overcooked to the point it was crunchy. Anybody that knows anyting about cooking would know it was wrong. When I asked about another batch, the server came back and told me the cook said that was the way it was supposed to be??? Please don’t insult my intelligence. Started paying more attention… the dumplings were served on the plate, not in the bowl, so they got dried quickly and weren’t juicy. The server was awesome and brought me out another side… hashbrown casserole. Not crunchy, mushy, did not taste right at all… gross. The bbq chicken was dry on the breast. The best thing was the corn and the fish. To top it off, the coke had a fly in it. Please educate your cooks. This was obviously a new one. For fear this. cook actually thinks rice should be cooked this way and they will again work a busy friday night, I will steer clear of this CB.
