Specialties
We provide year-round quality child care to children ages 6 weeks to 10 years in a nurturing, safe, and home-like environment. Our programs provide growth opportunities for the total development of the child using an age appropriate curriculum that includes but is not limited to a daily circle time, indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, teacher directed activities, free play and exploration, and enrichment activities both in and out of the center.
We offer separate programs for infants through school age as well as morning only and all day Pre-K Programs and School Age Summer Camp. A hot breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack is served daily to all children enrolled in care who are able to accept solid foods.
Drop in care and all day care are also available for School Aged children when Baltimore County Schools are closed for regularly scheduled days off and inclement weather. Transportation is also provided to seven area elementary schools.
History
Established in 1992.
Honeygo Child Development Center is located in a residential neighborhood in Perry Hall, Maryland. In front of the Center lies the Jacob Seddon House, said to be the oldest building in Perry Hall. Although no one is sure of the exact date the structure was built, it’s architectural design dates back to before the Civil War. For many years the house was owned and lived in by Jacob Seddon and his family. After a period of years, the home was rented to several families. The house existed and survived through countless historical events, wars, technological advancements and community development. It is now over 150 years old and it exists today as an historical landmark. There have been minimal modern advancements to the house that include an addition, running water, and electric wiring. Although the electric and water no longer operate, the house is still used by the owners of the child care Center and many employees enjoy being able to set foot in a piece of history!

Business Owner
Honeygo Child Development Center is located in a residential neighborhood on two acres of land in Perry Hall, Maryland. Honeygo was founded in 1992 by Jim and Ramona Casserly. It began operation in 1994. It is the belief of Mr. & Mrs. Casserly that the best place for children to develop is in the home with a parent or grandparent. However, given the needs of modern life this is not always possible. Therefore, they have sought to provide the best possible alternative; a place where children are nurtured and feel safe that looks and feels like a family home. The Casserly’s are active owners thoroughly involved with the daily operation of the center and are familiar with the children and their families so that they can support their individual needs in a way that only a single center operation can do.
