Paint Hive Studio is an owner-​operated business founded in May of 2014 by Latonja Davis-​Benson.

The word «Hive» denotes an important characteristic of Latonja’s idea for social painting. It implies working together, the essence of this sip and paint concept. Latonja says, «Like bees working together at their hive to make wonderful honey; people can come together at the ‘Paint Hive’ to create a wonderful works-​of-​art, while having fun.»

People all over the country are raving about this new art trend. They are excited about learning something new in a relaxed social-​type environment. The resulting benefits include meeting new friends, learning about making art, and perhaps most importantly, de-​stressing after a busy week.

Spreading the goodness of making art (and new friends!) is the goal.

Latonja is a professional artist and professor with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for art and teaching, Her desire to share her talent led her to forming Paint Hive Studio, which provides social painting experiences.

Latonja’s mission is distinctly focused on the purposeful goal of giving back to the community by teaching others how to express themselves through art.
