Have been patronizing cocoa nails since 2011. The girls are sweethearts that work there. The reason for only one star is because I made a 2 pm appointment with Blanca. When I arrived only waited 10 minutes. Problem was owner (Linda) book other people with Blanca also! Only had pedicure with Blanca and then her sister did gel manicure. Nice job! Problem is Linda then tried to charge me 80.00! I let her know that was the last time I’d be in as other nail salons are cheaper and also do a nice job. She the said ok pay 70 today. Gee thanks for ripping off your long time client. She gets very rude with clients and her personnel !! Thanks but no thanks! Time to move on! Also employees shouldn’t be talking on their cell phones while doing your nails.

Just got a full gel set and I’m actually pretty happy with it. I’m normally very picky especially when it comes to the actual shape of the nail, and after showing a picture of what I liked, the woman who did my nails did it exactly the same. This was my first time there and I was also a walk in and I was seated right away. I wouldn’t give this place 5 stars because they are a little out dated. I think with some new fresh décor, this place would be much better and attract more clients. Would I come back for a refill? Yes.

This place is awful. I came for a pedicure before the Fourth of July. The girl that did my nails had absolutely no idea what she was doing– by far the worst pedicure I ever had. It took her over an hour and she kept messing up the polish that she had someone else finish. It seemed like she was not trained and the place was just having her help for the holiday rush. I will never go back.

Absolutely terrible! My best friend made an appointment for herself and her bridal party. When we showed up, there was not one technician available. We had to wait, despite having an appointment, and then they only took us one or two at a time. They completely rushed us out! Every time someone came in while we were there, they would gesture at our party and give us dirty looks, as if to say, «We’d love to take you now, but these dumb girls are here.»
They did not massage at all!
My pedicure (which took a whopping 8 minutes, wtf?!) looked like absolute crap, and when I told the tech that I wasn’t happy with it, she told me it was my fault because I didn’t have «smooth toenails»…isn’t that what a nail file is for?
The worst part was when they were talking about us in Spanish (in which I am fluent). I am the least snobby person alive, and highly educated to boot, but trust me, it took a real effort to restrain myself when the one technician turned to the other and said, in Spanish, that my friend had dirty feet.

Just went today for the first time– my sister and friend go there.
Good Points– they took me right away.
Good Manicure– shaping is important
Price is good — 25 for Mani and Pedi.
& will get gels next time to see how long they last.
Massage was decent.
Good color options.
Clean. (very important)
Bad points–
The pedicure chairs are just OK.
They don’t really talk to you– they talk to each other.
Wish they scrubbed a little more to get my feet smoother.
I will go again and update the review.
