Business Owner

Dr. Larry Overcash began his practice in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1986 joining the late Dr. Harry N. Ores, a highly respected practitioner in Peoria. Prior to Dr. Ores’ retirement in 1999, they formed Women’s Health Institute specializing in individualized personal women’s healthcare. In addition to providing complete female care from adolescence to geriatrics, Dr. Overcash takes special interest in reconstructive pelvic surgery with special training in pelvic anatomy and minimally invasive surgery. Balancing his surgical practice with a very busy obstetric practice accomplishing over 9,000 deliveries in his career, Dr. Overcash extended his practice to include bioidentical hormone therapy and diet management.

Dr. Overcash received his B.S. in Zoology, M.S. in Biology, and M.D. from the University of Illinois. Interning at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, he completed his residency as chief resident in 1986. Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics an
