Safelite AutoGlass

Both times I’ve used Safelite I’ve had issues with my review mirror. The first time, they didn’t reinstall the base correctly and broke it. This time, my rearview came off less than two weeks after the window replacement. The solutions are always to inconvenience myself to get the mistakes fixed. They may be small issues but quality work should mean attention to detail.

I was visiting from CO and the day before leaving AZ to drive home I got a big chip in my windshield. I drove straight to this location and they happily fit me in without an appointment even though they were fully booked. Fast, friendly service and saved me a bunch of $$ on a new windshield!

Had my windshield replaced today. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Also had snacks and water, which was good since I couldn’t drive anywhere. BRAIN did an amazing job, plus vacuumed the front of my car… Amazing. Will be going here for any of my windshield need.

I have had many repairs with this company and the quality has always been great. I have never had a problem with any car I brought in. Staff is friendly and the techs always explain the process.

I had my fiancé’s truck windshield replaced recently, Safelite’s technician Tim came to the house and replaced the windshield right on our driveway! After a couple of hours, he was done!

Amazing service. Very professional, very fast, very courteous. Provided snacks and drinks for those who wait at the location for their car. I hope I don’t have to replace my windshield again any time soon, but if I do I’m glad to know how great this place is.

Wrong windshield 3 times, that’s just a start. I dont want to go into right now but this is the last time I use safelite. I could have gotten free steaks or a $ 75 credit card with a lot less hassle. Im still waiting for the 4^th windshield right now. Wrong color too.

Pretty disappointed in Safelite. People forget that we are the customers and when it comes to multiple people writing about the awful service of a company, we can make or break your business.
My wife called the insurance company about our broken windshield. Had an appointment set up for a week from today with Safelite through the insurance. I called Safelite and asked if they could do anything sooner and the lady immediately told me «NO» because your appointment is already set up through your insurance company. I said OK thanks I will call someone else to fix my windshield.
I called another company (Select Auto Glass). They told me that I can change my claim to them and still use my insurance to pay for it. I had planned to pay cash to replace the windshield because I was that pissed at the poor customer service with Safelite. I didn’t want them to have my business. Select Auto Glass got me an appointment for the same day and had a great representative on the phone helping me.
Remember that you are the customer and they work for you. Once a company gets too big, the service usually takes a turn for the worse so keep the smaller local businesses in mind when you are doing business and the service becomes crappy.
Sorry Safelite you lost another customer to poor customer service and the lack of flexibility.

Very satisfied with Safelite service — worker called before arriving, was on time, did the job with no problems. Very satisfied with the product.

I had a pleasant experience here getting my windshield replaced.

I made an appointment two weeks in advance as I had two cars for them to do the chip repair. Was told between 8 and noon. 1151 am, I called and they said it was to be between 8 and 1 pm, really ! Then they call and said they an emergency and could make it around 130 pm. After this repair going to find someone a little more reliable.

Made an appointment to get my windshield fixed. I had a good sized chip right square in the middle of my driver side line of sight. I was offered a fill in fix, but was told I would still see a mark where the chip was. My insurance company agreed to replace the windshield and all would be good. So I thought. In order to have the windshield replaced I would have to make yet another appointment later in the week and come back. If they steer their customers into getting a replacement they should be able to finish the job the first time. I refuse to waste another day with this place and will be going to a competent repair shop to get the job done.

I had them replace my door glass 3 moths ago after my car was burglarized on Easter Sunday. I didn’t have glass coverage so I had to come out of pocket ($ 200+), with a portion of that going to broken «glass removal» and «material disposal.» When my car was returned I was missing a rubber tab that goes on the exterior door trim, the techs searched the shop but came up short. Fine no big deal the window goes up and down just the same.
If that was the only issue they would have earned 3.5 stars, however, when I got home I decided to search the interior of my car for the lost part. It was a failed attempt but I did manage to find enough glass to cut myself… and that my friends Is the story of how I was robbed twice for Easter. I would not recommend them to anybody unless you enjoy feeling like a victim.

These guys came out to fix my windshield after a rock chip spread after a trip up north. The offered a time window of 8 – 12 the next day which was fine.
I got a call just after 8 to say that I was the first stop and he would be there soon.
The van showed up about 8:30. Very nice tech. He got started but they gave him the wrong windshield so we had to wait another hour for the correct one to show.
Bummer.
Then he was using a new tool to remove the window and it fell through and cause some minor damage to the paint.
Bummer. He was apologetic and said they would fix it but who has time to put your car in the shop???
Two days later (Sunday) it rained. I pulled my car out of the garage and my windshield wipers were put on wrong and not working.
Safelite was closed of course to I had to take it to a mechanic to have them fix it. Another few hours lost.

My windshield was broken by the 10÷05÷10 hailstorm. I just got my estimate completed today and called Safelite at 1pm to schedule a replacement installation. Chris was at my house by 3pm and did an excellent job! He made sure he covered my driver/​passenger seat with plastic so nothing would damage them in the process. This was not done before when I had a replacement so I was impressed. After replacing my windshield (in blazing AZ afternoon heat) and cleaning it off he cleaned the rest of my windows too! Above and beyond what I expected!!!
