Larry H. Miller Collision Center

After my son go rear ended in his 2010 Jeep Wrangler, I thought that Larry Miller Collision Center Peoria was a good place to take it. They are, after all, a dealership affiliated repair shop and a USAA STARS facility.
Wow, was I wrong.
They found that the frame was bent and had to replace it after unsuccessful attempts to straighten it.
So the problems started with Stephanie Maness. She is the one who was managing the repairs. They had our Jeep for 50 (not at typo, fifty) days. Stephanie only called once to tell me they had to replace the frame.
Obviously, I needed some level of customer service, so I contacted Kevin Gaines, Collision Center Manager.
Surprisingly, the Jeep was ready right then and there.
Upon looking at the new frame, I noticed scratches and gouges on the front shock towers and rear part. Theses scratches and gouges were all the way through to bare metal with scrapes of metal hanging.
They took it back in, ground it down, and re-​painted it. We left thinking it was good. Wrong again.
The next day, the check engine light came on saying gas cap. I checked and then replaced the cap, although it was tight and looked fine. It wasn’t a huge deal so I figured we can get it in at our convenience.
My son and I were driving off road when I looked back and saw something hanging from the front of his Jeep. When I looked at it, I noticed that both control arms were completely disconnected from the frame! No bolts in sight at all! We are about eight miles in the desert with no cellular service and limited tools.
The front axle was almost completely loose and now the front drive shaft and differential were jammed up into the body.
After about and hour of wresting and MacGyver skills, I was able to limp it back to cellular service and tow truck accessible area.
I called Kevin and told him what happened and that it needed towed. He wanted to send a mechanic instead!
One thing that made me even more mad was Kevin saying «I understand». He does not understand. There is no way he could!
So, take two, they have it from Thursday to Tuesday and I went to pick it up.
My simple request was to check all the bolts underneath and mark them so I can tell it they are loose.
They only checked some bolts and simply wrote a mark, in what looked like pencil, on some random part of the volt or nut. When I pointed it out to Kevin, he made excuses and said that he checked the bolts that they worked on during the repair.
So they did absolutely the bare minimum they could and didn’t try to do good by me or my son.
So now it is another trip back after finding the alignment off and the Jeep swerving suddenly by itself at highway speeds. This after a supposed alignment by Larry H Miller Dodge across the street from the repair shop.
Now just found that there is a bent component that was never checked and would have been found on any four when alignment.
I just don’t know what to do anymore. My sons drive and ride in this vehicle and I am scared for them because of the lack of competent repair.

Worst place ever. would give 0 stars if possible. My husband and I were steered here by our insurance company with threats of delay in service. We were told we needed to bring our vehicle here in order to get fixed in a timely manner and so that the parts and labor would be warrantied. After not hearing about our truck for about 10 days we started calling Steve who was in charge of what was going on with our vehicle at the collision center. Steve was impossible to reach. We would call at 10am and be told he was out to lunch, then we would call at 2pm and he would still be «out to lunch» we would finally drive up to the collision center for answers where we would find Steve most likely out front smoking. This became a regular occurrence. 3 weeks later we had our vehicle back. A few months go by with no concerns until I happen to be driving behind my husband and his rear tire almost completely fell off. luckily i was able to notify him so he could pull over. We notified our insurance and collision center and brought the truck back. The collision center said my husband needed a whole new rear axel. Not sure how you miss a broken axel… they did not offer a rental and refused to take any responsibility, but gladly took another 3 weeks to fix it. Again after multiple calls to reach Steve to no avail, I began working with his manager Kevin. Neither Kevin nor Steve have any idea what they are doing. after complaining to Kevin that they have had our vehicle for 6 weeks and we are stuck with rental car bills that we shouldn’t be, Kevin did some research and said they found that they had our vehicle for an extra 5 – 6 days that weren’t necessary and gave us $ 300 off our rental. Then when we went to finally pick up the vehicle, Steve tried lying right to our faces and told us they gave us the $ 300 credit because they «felt bad» I corrected him and told him that wasn’t true and we were given the credit because of their lack of organization and our truck had sat for 5 – 6 untouched. Steve raised his voice to me and was extremely rude. After picking up the truck (for the second time) and driving less than one mile we both begin to hear a loud noise coming from the rear axel. If anyone had test driven this vehicle they would have heard it. At this point I am having our vehicle looked over by another mechanic and he has found multiple issues with the rear axel, leaks, noises, broken gears etc. I do not feel safe having this company go anywhere near my vehicle. They had it for a total of 6 weeks over 5 months and still could not fix our vehicle to safe operating standards and lied, yelled, and dragged on this claim much longer than necessary. Also it has been impossible to get any paperwork associated with our vehicle. They never gave us a receipt when leaving and have told me that the estimate I am being given is what they have done to the vehicle. I looked over the estimate and see that they put on new break pads. We had the break pads put on the week before we brought the truck in to their shop. When I called to ask about that, Kevin said they were told to put on new break pads so they did. Then Kevin calls me back about 5 minutes later saying they put on break shoes not break pads. So again he lied to me the first time, then after speaking with Steve and getting their stories straight they called back to try and fix it. I still have no idea what they have done to our vehicle and every time we call they have to create a receipt that hopefully matches what they have done. I hope you all steer clear of this place and go with another shop whenever you have the option.

Stephanie was my estimator. I needed a new bumper and they applied it incorrectly, the tab on one side of the bumper is sticking out. They didn’t even line it up right. I had to wait 45 minutes after the time she said my car would be done. Finally, after getting my keys I noticed scratches that weren’t there before– CONFIRMED by the front desk because they take pictures of all scratches before working on it. I then asked to see Stephanie and was told she was busy and that I had to wait for someone else to look at my car. I waited for almost an hour before I had to leave for work. Horrible customer service. I had already signed the release forms so I can’t do anything about it, which is my fault. Won’t be coming here ever ever again and would not reccomend it to anyone wanting repairs done to their car. Learn from my mistakes, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING IF YOU ARE NOT 110% SATISFIED. I hate this place and I will probably need to pay even more money to get it properly fixed. Yeah. Screw you.

Best service I ever had experienced

I was rear ended last week and the person who hit me had Geico insurance. Geico coordinated the entire repair and sent me to Larry H. Miller Collision Center. The entire thing couldn’t have been easier. I dropped my car off and picked up a rental all at the same place. My car was ready a week later and the exchange was a breeze. Car looks great!

Never got to see the quality of their work… my estimator/​rep there had my business and then lost it due to his incompetence. After telling me 3 lies in a row I was clear he never read his email! My insurance company sent the approval and 5 days later he still had’t ordered the parts. Sloppy and way below minimum standards. I called his boss to tell him I fired their company and I told him why. Let’s hope he does some training. I will not tollerate BS or lying… bad way to start a relationship not to mention he told me 3 seperate times he sent me an email… never got it.
Bye bye larry H Miller… your employee hasd and lost my business due to his own incompetence.
I took my car to LG Collision… the parts were ordered before I left the store. Now that is good customer service…
Sorry to say Avoid Larry H Miller Collision Center…

We have Gieco for our insurance so naturally we would bring it here. we were rear ended and brought our car in on a Tuesday, we were told 3 days, by Friday we called to find out if we were picking up our car or not, apparently not, get a call on Saturday morning telling me the car is done, go to pick it up. First off, there is 2 little kids and a dog behind the counter, Really?, this is a business. 10 mins later we finally get our keys, I guess no one was around to bring it to the front so we were directed to go around the side and find it. push the remote and it’s around the corner, rear end looks great, go around the entire car and someone had backed into the front of it, the girl of course says they need to check the pictures to see if it came in with that, which it didn’t, she comes back out and instead of «Sorry about that» we get «Accidents happen «Really? We brought our car in to be repaired and we get a little more damage on the way out, bad customer service. We won’t be bringing it back, there are other body shops. Eric our adjuster is the only reason for the 2 stars.

I just dropped my car off here for an accident that occurred which left me with a hanging by a thread back bumper, a messed up front bum, broken headlight, and a rattling engine. After reading a few previous reviews I am super paranoid now. Wish I had time to research before picking this place, although the assigned technician to my car seemed very nice and helpful and it is in a convenient location so I am crossing my fingers! I will give an updated review once I get my car back.

This shop was also recommended to me by the insurance company handling the claim, USAA. I checked them out as well and was comfortable having them do the repairs — I thought wrong. When I dropped off our 2014 Subaru to be repaired from a rear collision, the initial repair time was 15 days. I was called after 10 days that repairs were complete — this was my first red flag. I inspected the car after they said the repairs were complete and noted an entire page of things wrong ranging from missing parts, parts that are still damaged, incorrect parts, mismatched paint, misaligned panels and dirty interior. Now I am very picky and I didn’t expect not to find anything, but what I found was completely ridiculous! They did offer to correct my concerns and off I went leaving the car with them. I returned to the shop two more times over 5 Weeks to have them correct more issues with the car — totaling 42 days total they had my car for a 15 day original duration! After I finally did take the car home, I noticed overspray over the entire car. After all this I didn’t want these people touching my car again so I took care of the overspray myself. This shop has a lack of quality control as well as experienced technicians. They cut corners to get you in and out quick — a model example of why you should steer clear of DRP repair shops! If you do choose this shop for your repairs, be extremely picky and look everything over closely, and question everything because they will lie to you as well.

A Geico customer hit our car and was responsible. Geico sent us to Larry Miller in Glendale. (I really wanted to go to Moore in Glendale) I was told by Geico to call and get an appointment time. I was amazed at the fine reception. Upon arrival, a Geico man met me and checked the damage. All of 10 minutes and one cup of comp coffee. He sent me over to the on-​site Enterprise and Geico, as promised, took care of my rental car (However, Enterprise was slow as hell in having the promised car available — couldn’t even find the Geico request???).
So this is 4 stars for Geico and Miller!
My only complaint — the repair took 10 working days — most of which was waiting for parts. My car was very driveable. So why did I have to leave my own car and drive the very poor Enterprise Car?
BTW, 2 stars for the Enterprise portion!

They’re good, professional, got me a rental car, fixed my car and did everything they said they would do. Great place to go to when you want a body shop to take care of everything for you. I already have a second car here to have them fix as well.

I would not recommend them here is why:
1. My lease G35 was backed into by a truck thus needed a new front bumper… They did not leave a note and left a tow hitch hole in the front bumper!
My insurance said this is the place so I used them, got my loaner car there, fast and convenient.
here is the problem, had to take the car back after the repairs, quality control??? Paint on the headlights and grill. Not real detail oriented and I did not notice till after washing the car a few days later.
2. My coupe G35 gets rear ended in the carpool lane on the I10 me and 2 other cars great… Anyways needs new rear bumper and out of convenience I tried them again…
Paint was good, new rear bumper, but had to take it back… They forgot to plug in the license plate bulbs, don’t worry I was lucky enough to get pulled over and notified that way 2 days after I got the car back from them. Again quality control, final inspection must not be here?
If you really care about your car and want a detail oriented auto body shop to work on your car steer clear of here. Hope that helps anyone considering repairs here.

This shop was reccomended to me by the insurance company handling the claim. They did a good job, and repairs seem to be complete and done nicely.
I would probably go back to them again if I needed collision repairs.
