We are also a certified participant in the Medicare Therapeutic Footwear Program for diabetics. And we have a large selection of diabetic socks and creams for helping lessen neuropathy in the feet.

History

Established in 2002.

We opened at 5730 W. Peoria in Glendale in June of 2002. After five years we moved to 6750 W. Thunderbird Rd because it was a bigger suite and had more road visibility.

As the owner, I pride myself in hiring only mature professional shoe fitters. As a result, I’ve had the same three employees for over 7 years with combined shoe fitting experience of over 40 years.

And wanting to «give back to the community», I became a certified accredited store participating in the Medicare Therapeutic Footwear Program for diabetics back in 2003. We have been helping diabetics on Medicare (as their primary insurance company) now for over 10 years.

The program entitles eligible diabetics for a pair of shoes and three heat molded (customized to fit their feet) each calender year. And Medicare pays for 80% of the co

If the diabetic has secondary insurance coverage like AARP, Blue Cross/​Blue Shield or Tri-​Care for life etc., they will pay the remaining 20% of the cost for a savings of over $ 300.
