Darian Luxury Nails & Spa

I’ve been going down the street to a competitor nail salon“DmN”. Decided to try a new place. When you don’t feel like you matter as a customer, it is time to move on. Anyhow, nice place, warm and welcoming. Even though it was busy I was seated quickly. The technician was so nice and gave the best massage! :D. Nails came out very nice. I’m picky about cleanliness and this place was nice and clean. Will return.

Nice and clean salon. I’ve been here quite a few times and have only left in a poor mood once because the woman who did my nails rushed through the process and paint was chipping two days later. (Haven’t seen her since!) Anyway, Its been over a month since I got a pedicure here and it still looks AWESOME! I recommend coming in during the week in the evening when things are slow. They will do such a great job and make you feel welcome.

I will probably never go back… terrible service one lady started then had to leave so they moved me with another lady… and she did a terrible job! She was gonna leave my nails all uneven until I had to say something… and it wasnt uneven by a lil it was ALOT! I got gel polish and parts of my nails arent even painted!!!

Well after having a horrible morning and having to cancel my pedicure appointment with my lovely Karen my mom decided to treat me to one last pedicure before i give birth this evening. Well lets just say I will never ever step foot in Darian nail salon ever again! I should of know when we both put our feet in the water and it was cold that this was not going to go good! My mom was cut on her toe (which no precaution of blood spill was taken) and then they started talking crap cause we didn’t do the callus remover. Sorry not about to have someone scrap my feet with a chemical while being pregnant. Don’t know if you are clean or not. So now she has already put the scrub rinsed then warm lotion (which wasnt warm) and she is cleaning my toes off. It barely been 10 min being there. So i said something and she tells me cause of my callus she cant massage my feet longer because of the lotion and then also told me i wore the wrong pants and cant massage my legs!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! Rub my feet then lady. She then told me well I will use the oil. So then she decides to rub in between my toes digging in and now my feet start to swell. Alright lady i am done lets polish so I can get the hell out of here! So she puts the toe separator on then polish and when she thought my toes were dry she takes them off puts my shoes on and puts the toe separator in a bag with a bunch of other ones and puts it BACK in her trolley! Coming from a cosmetologist and also my mom an aesthetic background we were beyond disgusted by this service. We were there maybe a whole 30 min. Doesnt even deserve 1 star!

There are several things wrong with this nail salon. First, they let people leave and come back so even if you have been sitting here for a 30 min waiting someone that just walked in can go before you. (I understand an appointment is an appointment, but the ladies said that this was their second time back because the wait was to long. Well I am sitting here waiting. I didn’t realize there was a fast pass for nails.) Second, I had to ask TWICE for them to make my water to made warm. The first time it was cold, then they added hot water to make it lukewarm, Finally they decided to drain it. And then added scalding hot water. To what? prove a point? Nice customer service. Not to mention that once I was put into the chair I sat there without being checked on, after the water was finally warm, for 20 min (that’s a total wait time of 30 min in the chair, and 30 min wait time at the front of the house). This to me is sub par business practices, if you are not ready to take a client then don’t put one in a chair. The women that did my pedicure was polite and even thanked me for waiting, note this was not the women that got my chair ready for me with the cold water and then took three times to get it to be warm. The pedicure was good, nothing to write home about, but it If it’s empty I say go in, if there is a wait don’t bother.

I have come here a few times, even under the previous ownership and was pleasantly surprised with the last visit. I had a younger guy do my pedicure and he was very polite and thorough. And the atmosphere was professional. However, on today’s visit, I had an older lady do my pedicure and she kept complaining to her co-​worker that my legs were too short. Oh wait, I did not mention that I understood Vietnamese. She did not once ask me to scoot closer or tried to bring the massage chair forward. I could deal with that bc I have been called fat and other worse things before in other places. However I had my 5 year old son with me today and he was getting restless. He started asking me random questions just for the heck of it. He asked me «mom, why are you sitting in that chair?» One of the ladies that worked there felt the need to say in Vietnamese «why is that boy being so dumb?» I was so mad I wanted to yell back at them in Vietnamese but I did not want to cause a scene in front of my son. I gave them 3 stars for the previous experiences, but I will not be coming back anymore. FYI if it feels like they are talking about you in Vietnamese, they probably are. Completely unprofessional behavior.

I have gone to other places using a deal or whatever, but I always come back here. Chou is my personal favorite. I had a badly torn nail and couldn’t clip it off myself so I ran in Darian’s and and she asked her pedicure client if she could wait one minute and came over and clipped it for me. Alcohol swab and on my way! And if she hadn’t been there someone else would have done it. I offered to pay and she said no, but I should come see her soon. She also noticed a toenail fungus in one toe and sold me product for it. Everyone knows me and my daughter in law and granddaughters. I’m going tomorrow!

Ladies, this is the place to go for the best nails in the West Valley. I was a walk in at 5pm and they took me in with no questions. They are the nicest ladies. I walked out today with a set of nails I love! I’ve always worn the square look, this time I went to a soft staletoe look. Love them so much.

I used to live close but now I am about 12 miles away and there are 100 nail salons closer but I drive to this one. I love it here. My mom and I always go together when she is here for the snowbird season. Prices are great and so is the service. No matter who does my nails, they are fantastic. Their pedicures cannot be beat! They got new chairs and the massage on them is good and when you get the #6 pedi, when they say extra long massage they mean it! Other places totally short you in this but not Darian’s. Halo, Kim, Lynn I mean anyone you get is so good! This is my happy place!

I have been coming here every month for 5 years to see the same technician. I would never go anywhere else.

Always very friendly and quick service. Even without an appointment they never make the wait very long.

I’ve been going to Darian’s for a while. I get my nails done every 2 weeks or so. Lynn and Kim are amazing. They do very good work and I always leave loving my fill. They also add nail designs if requested and offer glitter and color acrylics. Love this place. Average fill is about 20, back fills are about 40 – 45

I’ve been getting my eyebrows waxed since I was 16. I went here because I just moved in the area and my normal salon is really out of the way. It was the most painful and rushed wax I ever had and they came out horrible. I will definitely never come here again I will gladly drive 45 minutes out of my way to my normal nail shop.

This is the perfect spot to go and relax while getting a mani/​pedi. The nail technicians are not over bearing here which I love. they don’t push any extra scrubs or rubs or flowers & designs. You simply tell them what you would like when you sit down and they get to work. The massage chairs have all the right settings and you can recline to almost a horizontal position if you’d really like some R&R. I’ll definitely be back.
