What a HORRIBLE experience!!!
Our entire experience was awful. The fact that we had to have over 10 keys givin to us and none of them ever worked perfectly. It was so inconvenient. Our room was NOT close to the lobby and we have a baby. Walking in 110 degree heat with an infant was just awful:(
When we asked for help (upon check in) with our bags, it took almost 30 minutes for someone to show up with a dolly. And instead of offering any help the man left it there, without saying one word to us and walked away. He offered NO help. Once again, we have a baby.
Our room smelled like literal SHIT. It was so disgusting. It smelled like sewage was backing up through our pipes. I told Kyle at the front desk and he never offered to change our room or anything. NOT HELPFUL.
The wifi never worked in our room. I told the front desk twice and the woman working told us to call the 1 – 800 number. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We are PAYING guests at your hotel. Why should WE call the 1 – 800 number. That’s YOUR job. Not OURS. We are on vacation and have a child we are attending to. We DO NOT have the TIME nor should we (as guests) have to do that.
We were not treated like guests.
I have emailed 3 times now and put in a phone call. I have been completely ignored. So rude!

this place has bad reviews for a reason. It appears to be clean and all, however, I ordered a salad with chicken, I specified with chicken. It took them almost two hours to bring it. Guess what? They forgot the chicken. Called them back and told them about it. No big deal, all good and dandy, but again! Almost another hour went by and still no chicken. I had to go to the kitchen & bring it myself. RIDICULOUS!

I got married over the weekend at the trilogy golf course and this was the only hotel near by. The only thing I regret most about my wedding plans was booking anything through Cibola Vista. To book a room in the first place was not only a hassle for me, but several of my guests as well. Calling and being transferred back and fourth then to be hung up on, emailing or leaving messages with no returned calls. No one was Willing to work with us on letting my guests check in a little early to get ready. Seeing as how normal check in is 4pm but my wedding was at 430pm. The check out time is 10am so it’s off by 3pm can’t have a room ready for us. They wouldn’t even allow me and my fiancé to check into our room before the wedding to get our stuff in there and wouldn’t bring our stuff to a room when it became available so we got the pleasure of checking in at 11pm and carrying all our bags to have to be out by 10am. One of my guests called and asked if she could check out at 1030 just needed a little more time to shower and was told absolutely not. If you don’t stay for a minimum of 7 days they won’t come and refresh your room or give you new towels. Which my guests were only there a weekend but the price they charge for these rooms and you can’t even give a fresh towel or take the trash out? Two weeks before staying there I just wanted to see what the rooms looked like since my bridal party and I would be getting ready in there and no one wanted to help me except for a gentleman working the front named Billy. Aside from him I never had another nice person assist or want to help. Beautiful rooms and location, but the service or lack there of makes the whole place not worth it and for me was embarrassed that I recommended it to all my guests to say. As no one had a nice thing to say about their stay.

This was my favorite overnight of my whole vacation… Huge accommodations… Luxury… Great pools and hot tubs… Extremely friendly and warm staff everywhere… Would love to come again and stay longer.
Only downer was lack of transportation from resort to hot air balloon ride… I didn’t have our car and so couldn’t cross this one off my bucket list.

I travel a lot and this place isn’t what you would expect for the price. I’m also a Bluegreen Resort Owner, and I can honestly say that I wasn’t impressed by this resort. I’ve spent over $ 20,000 investing in this company (which I actually highly value being an owner in) but this particular location isn’t what I was hoping for.
PROS: Kitchen and living room were perfect with space, appliances, and furniture. The propane fire place was a nice touch. The check in Concierge service was the best human interaction I experienced. Those woman know the lay of the land and gave great local recommendations. Also the adult pool area and bar were up to par.
CONS: The bathroom had zero hooks to rehang your towels or wet clothes to dry. Bed was ok at best but seriously people need more than 1 sheet, 1 thin blanket, and 2 pillows to call yourselves a ‘resort’ for couples. The ‘water proof’ seals around the shower were exactly the opposite and actually sent water onto the floor during each use. Plan on using some towels to keep the floor dry. Also the shower had no shelves so expect to keep your soap on the shower floor along with your wash cloth. If you want coffee or condiments that are usually offered on good size quantity be sure to order extra upon arrival. If you want a nice lounge area or club house like most hotels or resorts have then expect to be disappointed. A 3 seater area next to the check in desk with a coffee machine that’s locked up for 20 hours out of 24 during the day is what your going to get. Want on site food? Better go to the local grocery store then. Unless you want your vacation to be entirely from the pool side bar which is pretty much upscale skating rink/​bowling alley food. House keeping is only done if you request it. And when we ordered some extra towels after staying for 3 days and having dirty ones faster than usual for lack of places to dry them, the housekeeping people were somewhat rude that they had to deliver them to us. There is zero privacy between the interior walls of the rooms. You can hear everything from other people’s rooms so sleeping in May be challenging if your neighbor is slamming things around and being loud to rush out to meet the ridicules check out time of 10am. If your 1 min late it’s a $ 50 fee. If your 2 hrs late it’s an extra days worth of room time fee. Bottom line, if your gonna checkout late, prepare to stay an extra day to get your money’s worth. Fitness center was ok, but moderate/​serious athletes will need to get creative for a great workout.
Overall, seriously under impressed by this Bluegreen resort site. I do not plan on coming back here.

I really liked this hotel as a stopping point to going up north to Sedona/​Grand Canyon as it puts you closer to the tourist spots. The hotel is really nice as it has a full kitchen and washer dryer and very economical. There isn’t a lot to do here but it does cut your drive time and it’s in a nice residential area with restaurants and shops nearby. I noticed that most people that stay at the hotel are venturing elsewhere so it’s also a very quiet place-​since most are not around but instead touring during the day. Make sure you rent a car as you will need it to get around town.

If you are looking to purchase a timeshare or Bluegreen Vacation points, my suggestion to you is run away from it as fast as you can. For the third time now, I have tried to use my supposed FLEX week, but have NOT been able to. This time before I called, I went directly to the Cibola Vista site to see if they had availability for the time I wanted to schedule. They had 14 units available. I then called Bluegreen Vacations, and they told me they had NO availability for that time schedule. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me.
I asked if I could totally divest my deed to this timeshare, and was told that I could not; that I would have to go through their approved reseller, Pinnacle Resales.
So, if you want to acquire a money pit that will drain your finances @ roughly $ 800/​year, for a vacation you will never be able to schedule, go ahead and purchase points and timeshare with Bluegreen and Cibola Vista!

I’m so glad I didn’t read the reviews before I came. Especially the ones about cockroaches and bugs. I can stomach bad customer service because I know how to tune people out however, I absolutely can’t stand critters! I was very pleased with the customer service. I can admit the staff has been very friendly and helpful to me and my fiancé. The resort is really nice, beautifully decorated, and appears to be a decent get away.
I give it 3 stars for a few reasons:
1. During the timeshare presentation, a huge cockroach walked pass our table where we were sitting with the representative. I asked him what that was and he said: «Oh, just a desert bug». The roach just walked pass and continued underneath a cracked door. The guy did nothing about it. Didn’t attempt to kill it or anything. The roach was just walking as if it worked here or was a visitor smh. So as I read the reviews about the bugs it made sense.
2. $ 7.95 for wi-​if? I spent enough money to stay in the resort and coming here for the weekend, then I still have to pay for wi-​fi? Doesn’t make sense but okay.
3. The checkout policy. 10am and not a minute over? I think it should at least be noon. Give people a chance to get rest. To be out by 10 means I have to get up by like 7 or 8 to get ready and packed up. And if it’s more than 1 person… that’s additional shower time etc.
Overall it’s a nice resort and I definitely would like to bring by family here. If something ever was to go wrong I would never come back again. Today is Saturday and I’m checking out tomorrow. Hopefully my stay remains a nice one. If not, I’ll be back to change my review lol.

I booked a three night stay with this hotel using a third party website. That website gave an option to make the reservation without payment. In order to make a reservation without payment I agreed to pay a higher per night rate.
Two days later I received a message from (317) 829‑8646 (an Indiana number not Arizona) demanding a deposit from «Meghan». I called the company back at 1 (800) 456‑0009 and cancelled my reservation. If Cibola Vista Resort and Spa wants to charge me 20% for a «pay at the hotel option» then they should not be seeking payment ahead of time. If they need that payment ahead of time then they should not be using the third party website to sell their hotel.
Buyer Beware. I would avoid making plans to stay at this hotel.

We love the Cibola Vista Blue Green Resort.
The rooms are spacious, well adorned and offer all of the amenities that make for a wonderful vacation experience. The kitchen was well equipped and the furniture quite comfortable. There is one huge family swimming pool with slides and one large adults only swimming pool which we totally love. It’s nice to have a pool where you can relax without the noise and splashes of kids.
The adults only pool also featured a bar offering a good assortment of mixed drinks, beer, ale and wine and a hot tub.
We have stayed at Cibola Vista several times and definitely plan to return.

We stayed here 10 days and experienced our best vacation ever. The staff is so helpful and nice even the sales team were not super pushy and drive us nuts trying to sell is more points. Heidi actually sat with us and taught us how to use our timeshare more efficiently.
Before we arrived I read up on the Unilocal reviews so I knew what to expect. There were lots about bugs being a problem, eek gross!!! They must have sprayed before we arrived because we did see some dead bugs in the beginning little lack ones that like water. I kept all the towels off the floor by hanging on doors because there are no hooks and only 2 towel racks. Our room was perfect for us we had the kids in the living room on an air mattress and dad and I took the bedroom. Unfortunately we could not close the bedroom door because the air conditioner was wonky. The bedroom was freezing and the living space hot. Keeping all the doors open in the condo helped. We loved the kid pool great slide which I personally went down for an hour straight one day. If you lean forward point your toes and touch your toes you really build up some speed. We took advantage of the onsite activities in between doing our own thing. We went to the pool for movie night, painted some frames, and had a water ballon fight. It was fun. Austin is an employee a young kid super nice guy does his job great and the lifeguards were so helpful with ideas of some things to go do. We ended up going on a hot air ballon, rented a boat and played on lake pleasant, horseback riding all discounted for staying at Cibola resort and an extra discount on the boat rental for being a blue green owner. We also took the desert belle boat tour, wet n wild and slide rock these things are not discounted the lifeguards recommended them. So staff grounds pool our room was great. Then my son 4 had an accident in my bed! It was day 6 I called housekeeping g to see if we could get a room cleaned. The girl at the desk said only every 8 days do we clean rooms. My kids also spilled their juice all over the kitchen floor. I’m trying not to attract bugs so I cleaned the floor with my feet and Clorox wipes. Our only cleaning supplies are s broom and the Lysol wipes I purchased. I’m not going to go out and Bj z mop plus I’m on vacation who wants to clean the whole time. They would not make an exception and come clean they said until day 8. I washed out towels since we had a washer/​dryer. They did drop off new clean sheets tons of them but only one fit the bottom. They never took the peed on sheets they just sat in the closet. No one called or came by to clean on the 8^th day and since we only had 2 days left we didn’t ask. I did start seeing more live bugs the last two days too. In fact I was sitting up in bed the last night and a bug was on me! So gross totally ready to go home by then or even just s clean spot. The bed was hard as a board. My body hurt from sleeping on it. They could totally help their bug problem by having more spots to hang towels and swim suits and making exceptions on the 8 day cleaning rule. Maybe even adding s swifter to the cleaning supplies the carpet was pretty gross too a light vacuum would have been good. We loved the balcony it overlooked the adult pool and speaking of the adult pool the food served there is over priced and junk. We loaded up at sprouts right down the road and coked in our own room and ate great food for less money.

Very nice resort. We were here a year ago and came back since it was such a great experience.
We love the adult pool which is only accessible with a room key AND the adults only is enforced.
Not a problem for families since the family pool is AWSOME and the kids would rather be there. Large slide that is very popular but not so crowded that you wait very long for your turn.
Just remember it is hot and dry here, literally I believe you could actually cook on the concrete. I know my feet were cooked, you can’t walk on the concrete without sandals.
Being dry it cools off when the sun starts down!!!

First visit was after purchase of BlueGreen in Las Vegas. We came for a short staycation since we are from Phoenix. We get there around 2:30 to get our keys and check in since we knew we were going out that Eve to dinner and concert. Thank god we didn’t drop our bags or anything in the room just check in and grab keys. We return at 1am to find that they front desk had double booked our room. There were 15 people in our room partying. You know how upset we would have been if someone would have walked in on y wife naked due to front desk giving someone else our keys?
It’s been about 1.5 years since we been back. We decided the nightmare could t happen again. This weekend was my daughters 9^th birthday so I booked a large King suite with the adjacent studio room for my kid. Rooms were very dusty, the shower had women’s hair all in it. I had to clean shower before I could clean myself, and the master «King suite» toilet did not work. Again very thankful that I had the second room if not we would not have been able to use toilet.
All blue green resorts are supposed to come with free complementary wifi which this one did not have. Only a $ 7.95 per day internet connection.

We love this place. We will be using Cibola Vista as our secret get away spot here in town. Rooms were fabulous the service fabulous. We had a blast!

We just spent one night at the resort with my family for a wedding. It looked beautiful. Our room was very nice. Could have been cleaner lost of dust and dirt on the floor. Carpet needs to cleaned or replaced. But those are all minor compared to what we encountered later. After the wedding we came back to our room. We kill 4 cockroaches in 5 minutes. Then another 4 more with in the hour. I called the front desk and they told me there was nothing they could do but let the management know in the morning. At checkout they offered nothing but for me to call the front desk manager when he got in at 10.
I called him he also offered nothing. Not a discount on another stay, no refund, nothing. I’m now waiting on another phone call from them to tell me if they will give me a refund or not. Truly sad because we were going to look into a time share there.

My husband and I decided to book a last minute staycation. We loved this place. We reserved a King Suite. I am happy we didnt read any of these reviews before booking because we would have missed out!
Check in was quick and painless. Within 30 minutes we were checked in and already up to our room. The room was huge! I mean HUGE! The bathroom was super nice, full kitchen, separate bedroom from the living room and dining room. It was very sharp and clean.
The grounds were very nice, well kept. The pools were both clean, and kept at a very comfortable temperature, 81 degrees. There is a pretty cool slide at the main pool. A bar and food at the adult pool.
I only gave it 4 stars because of two small things… 1) the adult pool is not enforced. Children are not in the pool but they do come in and out. 2) They state they are a smoke free resort but they were not or its not enforced. I saw multiple people smoking as they walked around.
It was a great weekend. We hope to be back again!

We used Cibola Vista as one of 3 hotels for our wedding at Trilogy this past week where we had 100+ guests coming from out of state. In the beginning of the process it was a breeze coordinating with Taylor who always got back to me right away. After she left, it was a hassle to get any type of timely response from the workers at Cibola Vista.
I had many of our guests call to make reservations, only to hear that Cibola Vista didn’t know anything about our room block, even after I thought I cleared this with a manager. I tried to stay on top of who was staying where so we could properly coordinate a shuttle service for our guests. Both Katelyn and Katrina never emailed or called me back in a timely fashion.
I called the day I was supposed to check in to see if I could get an earlier check in. Anyone who has gotten married before knows how hectic the day before I can be. I absolutely understand the 4pm check in policy, but couldn’t believe that the woman answering the phones couldn’t provide better customer service in giving me an idea of if any room would be available at an earlier time, especially when I offered to PAY for an earlier check in time. It added to my frustration when my other guests checked in early that day with no problem at all. After checking in, the woman who handed out of the parking passes didn’t even have my reservation on file, but quickly wrote out a pass after I told her I was the bride with that weekend’s wedding block.
Aside from multiple bugs I found in the shower in and on our bathroom floor… what irritated me the most was that they did not clean our room the night before our wedding. I had my bridal party get ready in our room the morning of, and we were out before 3pm. Someone definitely came in our room to drop off clean towels, but never made any attempt to move the furniture back around or even make our bed. Funny that they can’t guarantee a room be ready before 4pm though.
I don’t except housekeeping to clean up and organize the mess we made or have rose petals & champagne waiting. However, to come back to a total disaster of a room on our wedding night was truly disappointing. I’m by no means expecting to get special treatment or at all trying to be a high strung, hard to please bride. However, it blows my mind that an establishment that refers to themselves as a «Resort & Spa» can get away with having such horrible customer service.
All of that aside, Cibola Vista is most definitely a beautiful spot, in an area where lodging is sparse. I only wish customer service was more of a priority.

The only good thing about this place is the beautiful room I stayed in (JR master suite).
Everything else about this place is awful. The worse customer service ever! With one front desk person being clueless and the other one rude. They didn’t have our room ready to check in to until 6 pm and they were very adamant for us to leave by 10 am. The only food offered here is by the pool manned by one slow/​rude bartender. Why this place is allowed to be called a resort is beyond me! If you come here and expect to rent a condo with no amenities you’ll be happy.
