Cox Residential Digital Solutions Store

Every time I come to the cox solutions store, which is too often, I must wait 30 – 40 minutes. They do not have enough personnel on the floor. There are plenty in the back hanging out. Also, some of the attendants like to chat with the customer after they have assisted. FRIENDS. When my obligation is complete I will be looking at alternative providers.
They have set a record for wait time. One hour for 10 people.

This store just made my day! I feel bad that I don’t remember the name, it started with a P. He came out of the store when I pulled up and saw I had a sleeping baby in the car. He asked how he could help and took care of everything right there for me. The store itself, this location, has amazing service and the few people that I have met there have been friendly, helpful, and seem to enjoy helping people.

I moved to Florida called them up paid $ 40 got cable-​Internet. Five days later my bill is $ 238! Due in 20 days… I cancelled.

UGH. This is probably the worst business I’ve ever had to deal with. I only have their services because it was my only option in Pensacola. First off, it took 3 different cable guys to get my services working. Over a two week period. The first guy was seriously at my house for about three hours and kept going on about how his wife left him. Don’t get me wrong I felt very bad for him, but it’s not professional to talk about your marital problems with a customer. I can usually get past customer service being poor if I get what I paid for. But I get next to nothing for what I pay for. First off, the package I receive is a good $ 40 over what they told me I’d be paying, they threw in a bunch of random charges I can’t change or I’m «breaking the contract». I pay good money for my Internet and cable, way more than someone should have to pay and my internet goes in and out daily. I’ll be watching Netflix or Hulu and I have to turn off the Internet and turn it on again multiple times. Seriously it’s NOT worth it to get Cox. They are a terrible business who treat their customers like garbage and can only do it because of a lack of competitors. If you can get Mediacom, satellite or At&t. Whatever you do don’t get Cox! You’ll definitely be sorry.

My internet has been intermittent with an average download speed of .5 mbs (not 25−50mbs as advertised) and I just now scheduled my FIFTH technician visit for next week. That will be the FIFTH day I will be unable to work while I wait on a repair person and in return I will have a short period of time where my internet will work. This is SO unacceptable and I am SO fed up with Cox! And they were so kind to offer me a $ 20 for my time since I stayed home all day waiting on a tech that no showed!!!

Cox, we have to part. It’s not you, it’s me… No, scratch that. It IS you. Ok, cheesy soap opera opening aside, Cox Communications and I have gone our different ways. After 8 years of being a Cox customer, I finally had to say enough is enough. Throughout the 8 years, I have had nothing but problems with Cox’s service. This resulted in an uncountable amount of phone calls, and several instances where I almost went into fits of rage. And if the internet signal wasn’t bad enough, the technicians were always late, and not very professional. I am not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but every time I had a problem with the internet, the phone rep would always blame the problem on my side. «Oh, you are probably having problems because you have a bad router/​modem.» I knew that it was never that problem, because my router and modem was only one year old at the time. Cox’s bad service has resulted in sometimes having to restart exams for online graduate school classes, miss deadlines to submit paperwork, and get behind in work. Well, all of that is behind me now… because I have switched to AT&T U-​Verse! Seriously, if you have the option to switch, DO IT. It will be the best decision you have ever made.

Seriously, fcuk Cox Cable. I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with a company that has so little regard for their customers. I’m astonished at the incompetence of Cox Cable and their inability to provide internet service or for that matter, cable service to paying customers on a daily basis, yet have the resourcefulness to bill astronomically high prices to my account each month even though I’m not getting what I pay for. I feel as if I went into business with Pauly from the movie Goodfellas and Cox Cable is my mob boss that I have to pay each month for exactly what? I don’t know.

Don’t you dare call tech support. If you do, be prepared to be on hold for the majority of your kids educational curriculum system Grades 1 – 12. But then again, all they’re going to tell you to do is unplug and then re-​plug your modem.
