Brode & Brooks, Inc. is the result of the 1988 merger of the Real Estate firms of J.R. Brode, Inc. and E.J. Brooks, Inc.

Business Owner

I began my real estate career in 1972 by joining my father’s firm in Lansdale. From 1972 to 1985, I dealt in residential with particular emphasis on land sales and new construction. When I merged my firm with Jeff Brode, I shifted my primary interest to the Commercial/​Industrial side of the business.

I have a B.A. from the University of Virginia, attended the Wharton Graduate Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and served 4 years in the U.S. Navy.

My career has allowed me to enjoy a variety of transactions — some of the more interesting are noted below:

Office Lease of over 200,000 SF in Blue Bell, Pa for Merck & Co, Inc. and Hansen Properties.

Sale of over 800 acres in Blue Bell, Pa. This included 700 acres of Normandy Farms and other adjacent parcels — sold to a variety of clients.

Sale of a 60,000 SF building on 9 acres zoned shopping center to Waterloo Gardens in Warminster, Pa.

Sale of two investment properties outside of Richmond, Virginia totaling 165,000 SF.
