This place is right around the corner from my house. I love going here in the summer with my boyfriend. The servers are always nice and it’ll my opinion, it’s the best place to get a cold root beer float on a hot day.

I cannot believe this place has survived all these years. Starting with the burgers: paper thin, no flavor, cheese melted on the bun adding no flavor, bun is less quality than a McDonald’s burger. Fries: flavorless, no salt(which is best applied right out of the fryer), though they are crispy. This is also a cash only eatery, I mean come on, it’s 2015 people! And for the quality, the food is way over priced. Somehow this place has apparently survived on its root beer floats alone, how? I have no idea.

So we finally stopped for a genuine Weber’s rootbeer. Its a warm early fall day so we ordered two large rootbeers to go. Service was fast and friendly, and we can’t comment on the food, but both our beverages were weak on flavor with an abundance of ice and lack of soda.

I like the idea, and concept for this place. It’s good to have an option for a different dining experience. However, the food is comparable to something I could make myself(and mine would probably taste better) at home. Worth going for the experience, but otherwise, yuck!

I’ve been going here since I was a baby and I’m 37 now. My Mom always took us there throughout summer, but especially on the day when school let out for the summer. We always cheered in the Spring when we saw the Weber sign moving. If it was moving, then they were open for the season. Their root beer floats are AMAZING! Can’t say enough for the hot dog and fries! THEBEST!

I have been a loyal Weber’s Drive In Customer since I was a kid, and now 22 and graduating college it is still my first stop when I arrive back in NJ. The food comes out hot, fast and is always consistent. I have never not enjoyed my meal here. When I am not in New Jersey I crave Weber’s rootbeer, cheese fries and my favorite hot dog. Stop at Weber’s if you want a cheap, delicious meal with great service!

We love this place. Good food and great nostalgia, as it’s a real piece of history still«living.» One thing I miss is the sputnik on the roof, replaced with a plain orange ball.

The root beer was tasty, though I suspect loaded with caffeine since it is 5:45AM and I still have not been able to fall asleep. It had a good homemade taste, though was way too warm. The waitress was nice and I adore that it feels like you are stepping back in time. I also really liked the straw. It was fat and had a papery instead of plastic feel to it.

This is solely based on the root beer. The boyfriend and I stopped to get the famous root beer. He ordered the float and I opted for just the root beer. I had no desire to finish it, I’ve had way better root by people not claiming to have the best root beer. My boyfriend on the other hand loved his float, he wanted to get another. He ended up adding my root beer to his float and enjoyed what I didn’t finish. 3 stars because he liked it so much. People were nice.

One would think that a float is a float is a float. Usually, when we are having company and I don’t have time to bake /make a full dessert — I’ll resort to floats, which everyone is usually pumped about b/c of the nostalgia factor. This weekend we tried Weber’s for the first time, after passing it hundreds of times on our way in and out of NJ. The rootbeer float was soooo amazing, that it has put all of my sad little rootbeer floats to shame, shame, shame. With just two ingredients(root beer and vanilla ice cream), I don’t know what they’ve done to make it taste so yummy … Until I’m told otherwise, I’m just gonna assume that they sprinkled a little crack or other illicit narcotic, to make it taste so extra good…

The food is not gourmet but the experience of a drive-in is sweet, fun, and nostalgic. Food is good, root beer floats cold. Great place for kids, there’s not many places like this anymore

Simple roadside food that is delivered windowside. There aren’t many places like this left, I went with the pizza burger, fries, and a root beer. All were good, but not great, and I ended up with a chocolate shake that was very good. We will definitely be back, this place is something out of the 50s and as long as you come in tempering your expectations you won’t be disappointed. If you want a gourmet burger this isn’t the place.

Let’s be honest: you’re not coming here for the food. The burger is flat and mediocre and the hot dog is nothing special. The fries are just french fries. The root beer floats are delicious though– the root beer is really good and it’s mixed with soft serve in a giant frosty glass mug. I prefer hard ice cream in my floats, but I still loved it. Being non-native east coasters, we drove by this place last week and were mesmerized by the cute sign and vintage feel. It was worth coming back over the bridge from Philly(and paying $ 5 to come back again!) to eat here the next day. It was a cold day and our server was bundled up and seemed freezing, but was very friendly still. It’s such a fun experience and it’s very well-priced, even though it’s cash only. Afterwards, I found out this place holds a lot of nostalgia for people who grew up in the area, and I can totally see why. Coming here on a hot summer night and sitting in a car with people you love while a chilly root beer float sits on a tray hanging outside your window sounds so perfect!

The holy grail of hot dogs, crispy fries and ice-cold shakes. I only get the hot dog and fries, so I can’t speak to the burgers, but you can’t beat driving to Weber’s on a hot summer night, having a frosty glass mug of root beer served to you at your car window, and hanging out with family. I love everything about this place. They’re only open half the year, because the family that owns it goes on vacation in the winter.(Or so my parents used to say.)

This is one of Weber’s several locations in South Jersey. I’ve always liked the ‘retro’ feel of the place. They have cheap, greasy burgers & fries/etc. But they have awesome root beer floats. They come in huge glass mugs, and the ice cream they use is creamy & flavorful. Little weird eating/drinking in your car, though, if you’re not used to it. Good date night place. **Cash Only** !!

This drive-in was a staple of my somewhat misspent youth at CCHS and recently when we were back visiting, we had a chance to re-visit the drive in. My sense of nostalgia was pleased that very little seemed to have changed. The hot dogs and fries were hot and tasty and the root beer was cold and delicious. What more can you ask for than an old favorite that lives up to your memories?

I expected a frosty mug of root beer as I have experienced at other root beer drive ins, but alas no frosty mug and the root beer was meh. Also not much for vegetarians.

The best root beer floats EVER. I love the nostalgic feel of Weber’s. They serve great food, delicious root beer, and it takes you back in time. Now if only they had a jukebox. Prices are reasonable and they offer your standard fare(burgers, fries, cheesesteak, etc.) but boy are they awesome.

How can I possibly express the awesomeness of this place? It has a twirly orange windmill on the sign! It’s straight out of the 50’s. It is on a state highway in south Jersey, amid old motels and liquor stores and shopping centers. They serve greasy hamburger joint food on paper plates. Hot dogs with slices of cheese. Cheesesteaks. Root beer. Fries. It’s a real drive-up diner! Window trays that hang on your car window! Seriously, seriously, seriously. This is the last of a dying breed from a bygone era. Sonic tries to recreate it, but the original is still the best.

OMG, Weber’s! I haven’t been here since I was a kid. Meanwhile, yesterday(a Sunday) about 6:30PM we were driving back to Philly — and attempted to go to the Cherry Hill Mall — which was closed. So we wound up on a whim, stopping at Weber’s. The Elvis impersonator in the driveway was an interesting touch. Nice guy — actually(and he’s available for parties). DH& I both got cheeseburgers, DD got a hot dog with ketchup AND a cheeseburger. We shared a chocolate milkshake — which the lovely female server offered to split into 2 cups for us. So great! DD& I each had a few sips of the thick chocolate goodness and then called it quits. I can’t imagine drinking a whole one. The burgers tasted great and were so juicy. A little small — but they were heavy so that was fine. DD liked her hot dog and ate a good bit of the burger, too — and of course then felt sick and stopped eating. A little too much of a good thing. A rare indulgence, for sure. CASHONLY. So nostalgic on a cool summer night to be served by a «carhop».
