This place is amazing! We order regularly for lunch at work. They have great lunch specials. Great prices! Everything on the menu is beyond delicious. The amount of meat and cheeses they pile on the hoagies is unreal — and great prices! This place is a hidden neighborhood secret — and the best secret I’ve ever found!

The hoagies have like 10 lbs. Of meat in them and are so cheap! Cheesesteaks are also pretty tasty too. Great food, nice staff.

If you are looking for super meaty subs… then this is your place! I’m a hungry man with a hungry appetite and I could barely eat half a kitchen sink sub! Kudos to the staff for being so polite and honest.

If you want a slammin sammich, this is your spot. Its actually two stores with another in between, but one houses the fresh produce and the other has groceries and the deli. This is a family run joint that has some really spectacular sandwiches on the menu. Everything is large. Every sandwich, every item they make, all huge. Produce is picked up and delivered fresh every morning from the market in south Philly. I hadnt been in in quite some time, but I found myself across the bridge and in the mood for a hoagie, so I stopped in. The service at the deli counter is awesome. They have great help back there, and as others have mentioned everything is huge. The sandwich seriously has some weight to it when you pick it up. I ordered the kitchen sink and a three pack of pepper shooters. Definitely the biggest pepper shooters I have ever had. The sandwich was packed full of all its fillings; turkey breast, proscuitto, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers sharp provolone and fresh mozzarella. I could only eat half of it, and I was full for hours afterwards. It all starts with the bread. I love sarcones seeded rolls. They are perfect sandwich rolls. The amount of filling in their sandwiches is just shy of absurd. Why can they afford to make sandwiches like this, but other places slap two slices of meat and cheese on it and sell it for the same price? This hoagie weighs almost two pounds and costs 8.50! I really loved the turkey with the procsuitto, which I wasnt sure that I would. The sharpness of the provolone was a nice touch as well to go along with the creamy mozzarella. Outstanding sandwiches, outstanding people and fresh produce all in the same location. Definite winner, and if you know about it tell your friends because this place is awesome!

My family has been frequenting this deli for years as they work nearby. Over the years they’d stop after work to grab hoagies and bring them home to my sister and I for dinner and I don’t think I ever had a bad sandwich. Now I work with my family so i have the chance to stop by and grab lunch or cold cuts whenever i want! One of my favorite’s is their italian style roast beef, pair that up with some cheddar or provolone on a round roll with mayo or horse-radish sauce and I’m in heaven. Also, their white albacore tuna is always fresh and tasty and their italian hoagie(I take mine w/onions, honey mustard, and oregano) is one of the best I’ve ever had. The bread is always fresh and they just stack the meat layer upon layer. Sometimes when I order a turkey hoagie I’ve had so much leftover turkey that I’ve made another meal out of it the following day! And I have to mention the employees; just the salt of the earth. They take the time to help each customer, make eye contact with you, and develop a very nice employee-customer relationship. At this point they know(and remember) my name which might not mean much to some but I think it shows they care enough about the business you bring them that you aren’t just another face in the crowd. Even the cashiers(an older man and woman for most of the day) are very friendly and don’t make it seem like waiting on you is a task. Please take the time to give this deli business, its a family operated company that just goes out of their way to deliver quality meat and bread to their customer base.

I have been ordering their hoagies for a few years now and they are the Best hoagies in the area! I drive about 20min just to pick up their sandwiches. For the equivalent size Italian hoagie around my way? Is $ 13 compared to the $ 8 here and its so much better! Great rolls, quick and friendly service. The Italian Hoagie is the normal order but they have amazing specialty hot and cold hoagies

This place is a great convenience to have in the neighborhood. The prices are a little high on certain things but the quality is good.

By far the best hoagies in the country! I have tried many and never had one taste better or be packed with more fixings than here. I love it! The gobbler, buffalo wing and chicken nana are my favorites. They even have seeded sarcone rolls. When I lived in NJ I went here twice a week. I miss them soo much. The service was also great, it’s an old school Italian deli/convenience store.

DiPascale’s hoagies are among the best anywhere. Really. Even better than Chick’s or Paesano’s in South Philly. Just as good as Amato Bros. in Oaklyn. Sarcone bread, fresh toppings and a ton of Dietz and Watson meat. My Italian Hoagie today weighed 1 pound 11 ounces — so I do mean a lot of meat. Yes, I put it on my digital scale when I got home. I have no idea why people eat crap like those things the Subway sells.

Everyone knows South Philly for its hoagies. With cuts of meat coming in fresh from the Italian market and some of the region’s best cheeses on hand, it’s almost easy to run a deli. But there are some people that wish to cut that exclusivity away from one neighborhood and branch it out to the suburbs, even other states. The deli at Meadowbrook, owned by the DiPascale family, has done that superbly. While serving partly as a mini-grocery mart, MFC finds its niche in sandwiches. Cold or hot, this little absentee piece of South Philly serves a plethora of Italian favorites, as well as some specialty hoagies not seen anywhere else. For instance, the Kitchen Sink contains premium turkey breast, shredded prosciutto, sharp provolone cheese, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers, and hunks of fresh mozzarella. The sandwich choice alone makes this place a cut above the rest, but its what they do with the sandwiches that makes MFC truly special. Unlike most delis, MFC isn’t stingy with the meat and cheese. While their Italian and American hoagies seem to be comparable to the size of most others’, everything else on the menu is monstrous in portion. A normal 6-inch hoagie weighs about a pound, and the brunt of that is meat. Piles of turkey, roast beef, or ham, and whatever cheese you want from their excellent selection. In the end, you’re paying 5.50 to 6 bucks, about what you would in the city anyway. Also, the bread here really stands out. Their normal Italian rolls are pretty damn good, and they also offer Sarcone’s seeded for a little extra per sandwich. Aside from hoagies, they offer full lunchmeat service, hot foods, most groceries, and even full-on catering for parties. I simply cannot say enough about Meadowbrook. If I could give it any more stars, I would in a heartbeat. I implore anyone in the Delaware Valley to find me a better hoagie. Until then, this place is king.
