Best pizza in the area. Perfect crust thickness, cheese-to-sauce ratio, etc. Even re-heated this pizza is great.

They make the best chicken and rice soup around. Real authentic Italian food. Consistently excellent. No frills but the real thing.

Giving 5 stars because of the quality of their pizza. It can get a bit expensive(I would probably give it 2.5 $), but you will not be disappointed by their tortellini pizza or anything with a deeper crust. 5⁄5

For a little pizza joint you wont be disappointed… pizza is gourmet to classic and delicious. The food is very very hood and generous to say the least. Service is always warm and attentive. Except that Your drinks can add a bit to the bill i have nothing but compliments. My go-to place when I’m in the area.

Mediocre pizza. Very little taste and our pie had too much crust. Might give it one more try but going to need a big rebound.

I love the pizza here. My favorite pie is the alfredo tortellini, it’s thick, the pasta is good, and the pizza itself is amazing. I would recommend Pennington Pizza Grill over Vitos any day.

Way better than Vitos. Pennington Pizza has great baked ziti and other pasta dishes!

This has been our go to spot when heading to North Jersey on Thanksgiving Eve for 5+ years. Good paninis and soup. The kids got pizza and that was good too. Plenty to choose from. Good traditional Italian service. We’ll keep coming back for more!

I don’t know why I go to this place. Maybe it’s because all the rest of the pizza places in Pennington are about as terrible. The pizza crust is always too thick. It never cooks through and the dough has bubbles and is sometimes raw. Pizza dough needs to be hand tossed and thinned out to cook properly. These guys don’t seem to take any care to do that. They have a Brooklyn pie, and let me tell you as someone who was born and raised in Brooklyn, I’ve never had any pizza that looked or tasted like that. I wish I could find a pizza place that knew how to make a proper pie. This place is definitely the worst in the area though. Might as well go to shop rite and buy a boboli.

Owner is rude. I will never go back there again. Our large group included a boys basketball team and their parents. We called ahead to reserve some tables. When we got there we found that the boys were sent to another room out of the dining area even though there were plenty of tables empty next to us. When we asked what was happening the owner/manager explained that he was keeping those tables open for other customers. We felt like second class citizens. The pizza is average at best. The dough is bland and the tap soda has a funny taste. Stay away.

I was on a road trip from Rhode Island to Virginia. I stopped in here for a late lunch/early dinner. The food was excellent and the service was great. They have an extensive menu and it was very clean. Wish I lived near the place.

I am basing my 5-star review on one item only — the chicken with vodka sauce pizza. I don’t typically enjoy overly thick slices of pizza but it is quite necessary in this circumstance. One slice of this should be a sufficient amount for lunch for most people.

I’ve always had a great experience at Pennington Pizza. All the employees are friendly and your food comes out quickly, which is a plus if you’re in a hurry. I’ve visited several times and have enjoyed all of the food. The pizza is decent, albeit a little greasy. If you’re looking for comfort food, choose the Tortellini Deep Dish – covered with cheese sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. My favorite pasta dish has always been the rigatoni a la vodka – the perfect portion of pasta for lunch, with creamy sauce and pasta cooked al dente. It’s also a great deal – only about $ 8 or $ 9 for a generous portion and delicious bread! Ordering a dish for dinner sets you back around $ 13 or so, depending on what you order, but it comes with salad or soup, and bread that comes brushed with olive oil. All in all, it’s a decent pizza place and a good place to come if you want a casual Italian dinner.

I went to high school in Pennington and have since moved out of state. On the rare occasion I pass through town I stop in for their tortellini deep dish Alfredo pizza that on my opinion is unbelievable. The first time I ordered it was 15 years ago, the last time was yesterday and it was still as amazing as it was then. I also love that the same people still work there as they did when I was in high school which speaks volumes for the family owned welcoming vibe they give off. If you’re into constantly good pizza served by nice people, this place is a must.

Pennington Pizza isn’t anything to write home about. The sauce on the pie was bland. The crust was clearly pre-made frozen crust — not fresh at all. The cheese slid off the slice. I agree with Steve G on his assessment too.

The food here is as good as any Italian restaurant that you will find in the area. Pizza is great and the menu is large. They offer many chicken and veal dishes and all are great. It can be very crowded on Friday night, but tables open up quickly. The staff and owners know their stuff and will try to make whatever you are in the mood for.

(2.25 stars) «Alright» pizza; the crust(thin, but not dry) and toppings(abundant and good quality) clearly trumped the sauce(thin and acidic) and cheese(off-flavors). Their sandwiches are also pretty good. Typical pizza house environment, with plenty of parking.

they make some great thin crust pizza, a great taco pizza, fresh mozzarella and tomato pizza, and the best cheesesteaks/cheesesteak hoageis around! their fries are killer too.
