The library has a reasonable selection of books and they regularly buy new books to add to the collection. The collection includes music CDs and a large stock of DVDs. They can also get, using inter-library loan, most DVD or book titles if you just wait for a while. The book sales are nice to go to and I usually leave with an armful of books for about $ 15. My biggest problem is that while there are some friendly and pleasant librarians, there are a few that are downright irritable, unpleasant and rude. I’ve never had this at a library before. Also, their fines are draconian($ 1 per day for DVDs and $ 0.25 per day for books) and there is *no* chance of being let off a fine or striking a plea agreement. The only reason for my generous two-rating is that I’ve become used to the rudeness and impersonal counter service. It was quite a surprise when I first started using the library.
