If you love all things «apple,» you need, I mean you NEED to go to Wager’s.
I used to drink the apple cider from the grocery store — always tasted like rotten, fermented apples and has tons of perservatives.
What an awakening it was to have REAL apple cider… straight from the source.
The fist clue that you are in for a treat is when you walk through the door and the sweet aroma of apples smacks you in the face. I looked around for jugs of cider… none to be found. That is because it is «on tap» from two barrels embedded in the wall! They will fill any size container you’d like. Cool.
You can also buy fresh apples, apple cider donuts, and jams and jellies.
During my last visit I was told that you can freeze the apple cider so I was able to buy more to last until they open again… almost.
One thing to keep in mind: they have a «season» which ends on January 31 and sometimes the days/hours change. If you are traveling here it is best to call ahead. They re-open in August.
