This place was awesome! The staff was so friendly. Everyone that came in the door was greeted by name except for this traveler lol. The food was so good. It is the epitome of a small town café done the way you want to see it.
Cinnamon bun sat is a must. And the CB egg sandwich oozed with flavor

Try the cinnamon rolls! Mine had fresh peaches rolled into a delicious warm bun. Heavenly! The shop is adorable and the staff was very friendly! I am glad I found this cute place but it is closed Sunday’s.

I live out of state and contacted the Flour Shop via the web site to order sandwiches for a wine tour bus ride for 30 guest over Columbus day weekend. I was grateful that Shari responded so quickly with some boxed lunch options. We worked out the details over email and they promptly had the order ready at pick up. My guest were all so pleased with the quality of the sandwiches and the the variety available. I highly recommend the Flour Shop Café & Bakery.

A really good sandwich shop. I usually get the mozzarella tomato panini, it’s tasty and filling. Sandwiches come with a side of kettle chips.
I haven’t tried anything else, except their custom-​ordered cupcakes, which are fantastic. I recommend a chocolate/​chocolate combo. The chocolate frosting is amazing, like mousse. They were cutely decorated as we discussed with the owner, and well-​packaged. I like that they’re in cardboard boxes.

A great place to grab a coffee and breakfast panini or meet your friends for lunch. Yummy soups (they change daily) and amazing hearty sandwiches. Convenient location on Main Street across from the library. Nice people, excellent espresso drinks, delicious food — what more could you ask for! A very welcome addition to Penn Yan’s dining options!
