Trader Joe’s

It’s always a pleasure visiting this location. The biggest plus of course is how close it is to my house (literally a 5 minute drive). But, that’s not the only great thing that can be said about this place. What also keeps me coming back is the service, the food offered, and the prices too. Around my area, I have 6 other competitors that I could choose to go to but my top pick is always Traders.
From the fresh, uniquely placed flower bouquets; to the fresh organic foods; to the wide variety of great, inexpensive wines… there’s always something there that captures my attention and has me buying it. And, if you’re ever feeling lost or in search of an item, don’t be afraid to ask a fellow TJ employee. They’re very friendly and eager to help in whatever you need assistance with– my last help, I was recommended a wine to purchase for a friend and they allowed to taste test it before purchase.

This place was awesome, great, spectacular!!! The prices were quite reasonable. The products were unique and very difficult to find elsewhere. The quality was top notch! The variety of goat cheese is incredible. The ingredients, in many cases, were non-​gmo. The parking was not all that bad. I went at 4:00pm on a Saturday though, so that might have had something to do with it. Also, they had ALL registers open. We went through the register rather quickly. The cashiers are attentive. They ACTUALLY reach out to you, wow! The employees throughout the store were helpful. Overall, I loved this place!!!

I love Trader Joes. This store is always clean and has very friendly and good customer service! Keep up the good work.

LOVE Trader Joe’s even though they don’t have everything I need, I get so much for my money. I buy so many organic fruits, veggies and GF stuff… I usually will go there before Whole Foods which is right in front of my house. I can actually come out with 3 – 4 bags of food for $ 40. I think its fantastic!!!

During the weekend rush use the checkout lanes closer to the door. It’s such a friendly atmosphere I love shopping at Trader Joes. The popular items sell out very quick. That’s why I always try to shop during the week less crowded.

Love Trader Joes, so I was excited to find this location close to some family.
Stock seemed a bit low on Sundays and maybe it’s me, but it seemed unusually crowded. There were quite a few people there but it seems as if this TJs is smaller compared to others. Also, there seemed to be less GF items at this location at this particular time.
Staff was super friendly as always. The location itself is great — corner of the plaza means TONS of parking.

I love having a Trader Joe’s this close to my house as we use to drive to Pinecrest before this on opened. I have never had a bad experience with products and employees of the store. There are many items and quick meals that you can’t find any where else. I recommend checking out the Boatswain Beer if you are looking to try something new.
My only complaint about this store is that it seems kind of small for the amount of people that go there. The small size leads to the store feeling cramped. All and all, I enjoy shopping here and will continue to do so until I move somewhere else.

My mom recommended this store, they have a great selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Once i walked in, i was greeted by a bunch of flowers. They all look and smell great. It reminds me of whole foods.
I saw a rack of oranges and i was desperately craving for oranges, i saw the sign that said $ 4.99 per bag. I thought it was a bit pricey for a 4 pounds bag or navel oranges but i gave it a shot anyway and when i went to the register to check out, they were only $ 3.49. So thats a nice little surprise.
The cashier was very nice and she paid attention to ouf conversation in the mystery of where dean road is in that area. I heard of hiatus, pines blvd, pembroke pines blvd, but not dean road besides the one here in orlando.
The place was packed when I went on a sunday afternoon there was a lot of parking and all the registers are open.

I would love to come shop here again. 4 stars since the fruits and veggies are much more pricey than the farmers market

It’s really refreshing to have a piece of California so near my house.
The selection of items are pretty much identical to those on the west coast for the same price. I have to say they could use a wider range of organic produce. In comparison to Whole Foods, the prices for are definitely a lot lower and more affordable.
Their organic broccoli only goes for $ 2.47 if I remember correctly… a really good bargain in my opinion.
Employees are very friendly and help you find what you’re looking for!

Note: exiting the plaza is a pain if you want to head south. Leave the plaza from Pines, your life will be a lot easier.

I like Trader Joe’s an all but I was a little disappointed with this location. Not with services or cleanliness, more of the small size store. Not as big as the other locations I’ve been to. Was in the area and decided to stop by this location today.
The usual friend staff that you would find at Trader Joe’s are hard at work here. I was greeted by friendly smiles as I walked in. But to my surprise the size of this store was as big as one of those smaller location CVS store. It was very clean and all the veggies and fruits were fresh so I brought some. Also found a nice bottle of wine for $ 6 that I will try out tonight.

I really enjoyed shopping here, it reminded me of a small town grocery store.
My first time at a Trader Joe’s ever.
Immediately walking up with a baby in tow an employee Ran to get us a special cart that holds a baby car seat, how friendly!
Welcome signs and potted plants, fresh cut flowers separated in categories of price in the front of the store.
I expected to see a huge warehouse-​type setting, and was pleasantly surprised to see the end of aisles (the back of the store even!), and a more warm, familiar atmosphere, more ‘mom and pop’.
Nice snack rack with variety of trail mix, nuts, seeds, in bulk or in individual portioned packets in a bag.
Great prices for things, I bought bags of: potatoes, sweet potatoes, kiwis and grapefruit, tasty hummus was 1.99 $.
There’s a complimentary coffee spot in the back to help yourself, and a tasting island beside it where they cook or serve food and snacks.
The Trader Joe’s 3 $ buck Chuck wine comes in many varieties, I tried the cabernet and it was great.
Great prices on balsamic vinegar, specialty oils.
I picked up a couple of the frozen pizzas, the mushroom — truffle pizza was really truffley! The prosciutto — burrata one was tasty too, more like tiny flatbread pizzas.
Tried their ‘TJ’ multigrain tortilla chips with ‘TJ’ pineapple-​mango salsa found in the fridge, loved them both.
I plan on trying the cookie butter, it’s a sweet topping spread like peanut butter, but am on a diet, it seems irresistible. My husband picked up the ‘TJ’ brownie crisps and they didn’t disappoint. Tastes like a brownie with chunks of chips and crunchy thin.
They carry Ezekiel bread (the sprouted grain food for life) in the bread section, no it’s not frozen, and great prices!
I tried the TJ ciabatta bread and the English cheddar Italian Truffle cheese and it’s a country battle of love in your mouth-​buy that cheese!!! Yum.
My husband picked up some body wash.
I like how they use Big signs, and colors to show the prices unlike most stores trying to hide the prices…
Had a great shopping experience, and will come back again to get more of the Trader Joe brand products, fresh juices, and the new store in Davie soon enough!

I LOVE TRADER JOES!!!
Before this one was built we would travel to the Wellington location on the weekends! I have been to the Delray, Boca, & Palm Beach Gardens, too!
Just a huge fan! They take a lot of pride in their company! The entire theme of the store is just FUN! When you shop you feel like you’re in Margaritaville! Art work around the store is fantastic! Take a second to stop and really admire it! Someone worked really hard so we should at least recognize it!
— dietary restriction laminated cards sit on hooks near the customer service! Each color represents a unique restriction (vegan, gluten free, etc…) Follow the list for items around the store! I have yet to see another store do this! Kudos to TJ’s!
— check out their daily samples in the back! They vary so you can always expect to try something new! Also included is a sample of their coffee to enjoy. So thoughtful of them!
It’s fun to watch new customers at the check out with the puzzled look on where to push their cart. I remember doing that, too! Shopping cart goes on cashier side and they unpack & scan your groceries! Feel free to help bag or they will gladly do it for you.

Nice TJ, the closest to my house. I go here at least once a week to pick up my snacks, and it’s one of the better locations in the area. You can always smell fresh flowers when you open the door. Great veggies and a ton of organic snacks and treats to be had are here. Some of the items have prices that border on pretentious, but that is par for the course in health food. Staff here are always friendly and helpful.

Happy to have Trader Joe’s in my community. I love all the different product selections specially some of their wines. If you’re a wine connoisseur like me then you enjoy getting some local wines from Naples California at a extremely great price on some of them. Sure they got some of the imported wines of course which I love as well but I’m a big supporter of buying excellent price quality products and all these great tasting foods that are behind the Trader Joe’s name. it’s usually hard to find and great tasting and a great price not like typical other supermarket that have their name on generic brands next to the same exact product for a cheaper price. That could be a big reason why their stores doesn’t needs to be as big as other Supermarkets.
I love the fact of the eco-​friendly when you check out. paper bags no plastic what other supermarket says that in 2015 these days lol ok Whole Foods but besides them lol

I shop here at least three times a month. I love their wine selection and prices.
They are limited in variety, but they usually carry products from smaller farms or companies and a lot of it is organic at a great price.

They just opened two of these by my house and I casually walked in… I was obsessed! I love the fact that they have raviolis with a whole bunch of flavors… I got wayy too excited and bought four different kinds because I couldn’t just pick one. My favorite was the ricotta and lemon ones! They were delicious!!! I also tried the bolognese ravioli and the mushroom ones that came in a close second place.
I loved the small set up, the staff was very friendly. The cashier waited for me to go back and get more raviolis and he suggested I get the the trader joes wine I got a bottle but I haven’t opened it yet.
Oh try the cookie butter!!! i almost forgot to mention it! its delicious with pretzels or alone. perfect for a snack or a quick dessert!

I am going to be short and to the point. Trader Joe’s is great for their specialty products, as a regular shopper you’ll soon recognize which ones. Of course there are the ones who come here solely for the deep infatuation with the infamous Trader Joe’s cookie butters.
Or some love the fact you can get a $ 3 – 6, organic red wines here. Whichever products you grow to love after shopping here a few times, this grocery store is totally worth it. I have tried there to go foods a few times and was not really satisfied with it. The sushi here sucks. It’s always crunchy, dry, and tasteless. The Vietnamese wrap, to my surprise, was pretty bad as well. They have an amazing selection of cheeses that are high quality and always at a decent price.
Like I said, you’ll soon be able to decipher which things to look out for when shopping here that makes this place amazing. Yeah the sushi and some of their wraps are eh, but the other products here outweighs the bad.
Personally I would stick with the produce, cheeses, wines, and the yummy ethnic frozen foods, their pressed juices, and don’t forget their cookie butters! (If you are not at any form diet conscious)

When I first walked in this store, I felt like I walked into a store out of our planet. Am I still on Earth? Why are the people shopping in this store so rude? When you ran your shopping cart to my foot, bump into me, or smack right in my face with your hand while grabbing the stuff on the store shoves, a sorry or even a little «excuse me» would be nice, like the rest of us decent polite human beings would do on Earth. But maybe I am reaching it…
But as far as the store goes, it was pretty nice. The isles were clean and the products were organized. Many of the items they have in the store, you probably can’t find them in Publix. And they got a lot of unique groceries items under their own name. And what’s cool is that the employees working in the store all wear Hawaiian shirts.
We got three nice Trader Joe brand bottle of wines, a bottle of IPA beer and an «all natural» potato chips and the bill came under $ 20.00. I like the store and the products it carries, but I probably would not come back to this particular location due to the rude patrons that shop there.

My second ever experience in a Trader Joe’s and I loved it even more than my first! Why? Well, my first Trader Joe’s experience was in Miami… and yes I loved it, but wow parking sucked. Pembroke Pines has a much better parking situation and despite it being a Saturday I didn’t find it too packed… just bring some patience.
My first trip to a Trader Joe’s I came armed with a list. I did a lot of googling beforehand about the products that people online swore I had to try. This time I took my time, browsed everything, grabbed a few of the items I had enjoyed the first time around and grabbed lots of new things as well.
The great thing about Trader Joe’s is all the frozen items. I figure during the holidays I won’t be cooking much as I’ll be out most of the time, so it’s nice to grab some frozen things that I can quickly warm up for dinners and lunches when cooking doesn’t make sense!
The best part… the check out! The staff was more than friendly and even turned my checking out into a competition. Lots of jokes and smiles, I definitely walked out of the store smiling instead of crying over how much money I had spent lol.
PS…I sadly wasn’t able to find the kale sprouts that Sue’s picture got me all excited for! :(Guess I’ll have to come back lol.

I’ve shopped at Trader Joe’s in Naples, FL but visited the store in Pembroke Pines for the first time on Friday — when I thought most people would be at work. Well, I guess me and about 100 other people had the same bright idea! The place was hopping!
Here are a few things that I found unique to Trader Joe’s:
There are no scales in the produce area because produce is priced by the piece! Whether it’s one bag, one squash, or one banana, the price is the price per unit!
I found unique produce like kale sprouts (a hybrid of Brussels sprouts and kale). I got small sugar pumpkins too.(Check out my pics.)
There are small packages of uncommon produce: I got fennel, mini zucchini, etc.
There is a variety of dried fruit — read the bags because some have oil and sugar but many have fruit only! (That’s an uncommon find — cherries that are just cherries — seriously, start reading the packages in other stores and you’ll be shocked by the stuff they add.) At Trader Joe’s you’ll find dried blueberries, cherries, bananas, etc. and freeze-​dried cranberries and blueberries too.
Beyond the chocolate covered everything and delicious cookie selection, you can find fig (strawberry, blueberry, etc.) bars (called This Fig Walks Into A Bar) that are great-​tasting and low in fat and calories!
Condiments don’t have to break the calorie bank! I bought a jar of hot and sweet cherry peppers (20 cal an ounce), and a jar of roasted peppers (10 cal an ounce). I also purchased miso ginger broth (15 cal a cup) and cream of mushroom soup (80 cal a cup).
There are samples of food in the back of the store and a coffee bar for free samples of Trader Joe’s brand coffee right next to the sample area.
The employees are very friendly — there are ‘helmsmen’ on the floor who are very friendly and welcoming. No matter which employee you speak with, you will find someone who’s engaged in making your visit enjoyable. Nice!!!
I look forward to returning to the store because I can find unique products that won’t break the bank and will help keep my commitment to eating healthy foods without feeling bored.
