Pedí un pepito mixto. La verdad no cumplió mis expectativas. Como decimos en Venezuela, mucho empaque poco regalo. Vi una hamburguesa que pintaba bien. Le daré otra oportunidad

Born and raised in P. Pines — I was not born into a latin family so I have tried and sampled latin favorites at bakeries and cafes all throughout Pines and Broward. This is my favorite place by far — I love that they are inside of a popular gas station because it gives the café a community feel and neighborhood shop. I have fond memories getting a café con leche and sitting outside at the tables, watching the cars zoom by on Pines blvd and loving the weather. I no longer live in Florida but as soon as I get off the plane I usually head here and get the following: Venezuelan empanadas(all are good, but the Venezuelan are my favorite), tequenos with a ton of green and pink sauce, and if I am really hungry a steak and chicken fully loaded arepa. All washed down with a large café con leche. Other favorites: egg sandwich for breakfast, burritos and grilled chicken platters for lunch. Burgers are also huge and juciy. You can’t go wrong here. Owners are great people as well.

This place is extremely delicious. I have ordered about three times this week. Everything always taste great and the food plates are big portions. My only complain is the young ladies that work there, they are a bit not so nice and have attitude. I wonder why? Lol… But I really don’t care as long as my food comes out good, I’m happy.

Food is okay keep in mind is a venezuelan fast food restaurant, super close to my house almost a two minute drive so I am a regular. However I’m giving three stars due to their staff, I am all up for customer service and a smile no matter what time its is but their staff if absolutely a joke. Guess ill keep on coming around just for the food, staff doesnt cut it.

Another great gas station find!!! This trend is becoming popular. Definitely if your in the Pines area give this a try. The only draw back was the limited seating area. But we had the cashier help us pick our choices and then split it because we had never been. Will definitely be back to try something else.

I simply have to give this place five stars. Great service and one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time! Everything was super fresh and tasted great. I’m so happy I found this place right around the corner from my house. I will definitely be back.

Finally!!! It smells like Venezuela, it tastes like Venezuela! It’s my country in a tiny hole in the wall in Pembroke Pines! Everything I have tasted is spot on. It’s owned by «maracuchos» who are known foraging everything three times tastier, bigger and better!(And way cheesier, as of filled with more cheese-my kind of place) please let the world know about your new location… it’s worth the trip!

Good place. I had the chorizo super arepa. Being from Colombia, I was expecting an arepa rellena. This was a lot of chorizo and a good sauce. I think it was suero with aji. Regardless, it was good but if you think you are getting an arepa rellena tipo Colombiano think again. The place is located inside a Shell gas station and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I have tried this place 3 times, the arepas are amazing, i always ordered beef arepa, food is always super fresh and the customer service is 5 stars too. Richard is very pleased to serve, once i asked him if he can weight the meat on the arepa so i can count my macronutrient and he did it! My husband ordered the super parrilla and it was huge too. Prices are fair because the give you a lot of food. Im not venezuelan but im a huge fan of their food. Favorite spot of Arepas in Pembroke Pines

Excellent experience tonight and all for under $ 10 which is always marvelous! At first I drove around in circles looking for this spot but after calling them realized they’re located in the SHELLGASSTATION, which would’ve been wonderful to know since I’m horrible at directions and felt my GPS was lying to me. It was around 10:30pm Tuesday evening, my friends and I were the only ones inside so placing our order was quick & easy. The ladies behind the counter gave us some tips on what to order & it was delicious to the last bite. I ordered the super arepa with meat combo, which to be honest the arepa is the size of a small village. This is filled to the brim with meat, tomato, cheese & sauce. It’s almost impossible to take a bite out of it without eating some of the toppings with a fork! The massive arepa is indeed super! Highly recommended. There are sauces on the counter including ketchup, salsa verde & salsa rosada, all of which go quite nicely with the combo. Staff is friendly and bilingual which is always a bonus. My rating would’ve been 5 stars if I would’ve gone during the day, the gas station is filled with cameras & the people that went in after us seemed a little shady. Something felt off not just to me but to my friends as well so as soon as we finished eating be bolted out(you can never be too safe)

I just tried calling over the phone to place an order for delivery, and was put on hold for 3 minutes to then be hung up on three consecutive times at 2:40 pm. The forth time I called i explained to her that someone kept hanging up on me, and she replied in a very nasty tone that she was extremely busy and she wasn’t playing. I was so annoyed I decided not to place my order after all. How rude can someone get. It is a shame because what she doesn’t know is that I go there 2 to 3 tome a week if not more and each of my purchases are between 40 to 60 dollars each time as I have a family of fove adults. I will take my business elsewhere.

I am from Venezuela and have been to the beach strip in chichiriviche and higuerote where the empanadas are legit and this place is AS legit. My favorite is the chicken and cheese empanadas, they are so YUMMY! The café con leche tastes just like my grandma’s, the arepa’s are huge but i stick to empanadas and tequeños! get there early or there wont be any cheese ones left, i dont get why they have the colombian empanadas if its a venezuelan place but Im not gonna order those anyways :) they also have pirulin and different venezuelan goodies on the other side of the gas station clean and friendly and yummy, traditional venezuelan empanadas

What a fun little find – the surprise of such tasty eats coming from a gas station is its own reward. The food here is way better than it has any business being. With the price point around $ 6⁄7(and considering the generous size of the servings) this is one of the best deals around the Pines neighborhood. Today I tried the arepa with carne asada – a voluminous, flavorful treat literally overflowing with a heap of tender meat and and perfect trimmings – and will definitely be back to have it again. Also stole some bites of my buddy’s patacon, whose sweet/maduro plantain provided a great complement to the more savory filling. This place is a five star relative to the setting, price, and expectations. If you’re in the neighborhood looking for a quick bite, you can’t go wrong; plus, they also have small bites in the form of empanadas and pastelitos if you’re on the go.

This place is so conveniently located! In the Shell gas station in the Paraiso Parc plaza off Pines Blvd, just drop off your car for a wash and come grab a quick bite! I had the meat arepa, and it was amazing! It was also massive(please refer to photo)…whoa. I had to attack that thing with a fork before I could even make it into a biteable size! Make sure you try the tequeños too… those never disappoint. I’ll definitely be back.

I never tried this types of Arepas before, so I don’t know if the flavor is the same as in Maracaibo but they are different, fun, huge and the flavor is really good… The service is one of the most valuable thing on this place, Ana and his partner always make us feel so comfortable, they are always happy and helpful, we usually go to this place Friday’s morning and they serve us very well…

For a small place inside of a gas station they are not bad. We tried the beef and the chicken arepas. They were stuffed full of meat and they were warm but I wasn’t crazy about their cheese. It tasted like something out of a Kraft green shaker. The meat was thicker than usual and kept falling out. Somehow when the meat is shredded and marinated it tastes better.

First off I love small businesses and I support all that I can. Super Arepa has so much potential and my review is a little harsh but it is written with the best intentions. I’ve been wanting to give this place a shot ever since they took over the old mediocre café that was there. While waiting for my vehicle to be washed, I asked the cashier which arepa she suggested? She quickly responded with the Carne Arepa with pico de gallo sauce and that shredded Spanish cheese that I love so much. I was sold. It was made in about 5 — 10 minutes. Now it leaves me to question the freshness? When the massive arepa was brought to me it looked very appetizing and smelled delicious. However the first bite the meat was room temperate cold. I was a little disappointed. I too. Another bite and it started to get warmer. I guess I really wanted the meat to be steaming hot right off the grill. Now the positives: the taste was really good all the pico de gallo with the cheese combined beautifully. The arepa itself was hot and made just right. All in all, I will go again and try different menu items but they have to step their game up. It was a close call between 3 and 4 stars by a centimeter!
